00:00All right, I'm here with the brand new Apple Watch Series 12 and it's a pretty
00:04major upgrade even though it keeps that ultra slim profile. There's some big
00:08changes here. For one, there's the new S11 chip under the hood. It has a dedicated
00:12always-on enclave and a secure enclave. I'll get back to that in a second. But on
00:16the back here, we have a whole new health sensing system. So what's really cool
00:22here is we have these new diodes and electrodes that are all around here. This
00:26has been completely redesigned and there's a bunch more so that it can
00:28better make contact with your skin for more accurate tracking. But also, and
00:32this is a big one, this can do all-day heart rate tracking as well as heart
00:36rate variability tracking. And that goes into the new readiness feature. The
00:40Vettelz app has kind of been redesigned a little bit so you can kind of scroll
00:42through still, see heart rate, respiratory rate, wrist temperature, and your
00:48recovery HRV, which is brand new, right? And there's our readiness score. So think of
00:51it kind of like an Aura or Whoop competitor now on your wrist. So with this
00:55unit, it says seven and ready. And you can see this is what that interface looks
00:59like. And if we scroll down a little bit, it'll give you a little more. And you can
01:03learn how to raise your score. So maybe it's with fitness, right? Or maybe it's your
01:06sleep score. This person has been great, actually. So the ready and the score is
01:10pretty good there. And that's a pretty major feature that's going to be
01:12available on launch. You need about seven days of use for that. And you do have to
01:15wear the watch for sleeping. But the other great thing that the Apple Watch Series 12
01:19carries over is all-day battery life. I remember I said in the review with
01:23Series 11 last year, it can really go the extra mile. And it keeps that same
01:27ultra-slim profile design, which is really great. This is the larger 46
01:31millimeter, still comes in a 42 millimeter. There's these new aluminum, still comes in
01:36these colors. There's titanium and return of ceramic, if you're willing to spend for
01:39a really, really nice polished, a little bit heavier design. And then later this
01:43year, Apple is bringing, the Apple Watch is sort of becoming this AI wearable with a
01:47few new features. There's sound recognition, like we know from iPhone and
01:50HomePod, so it can detect if a fire alarm goes off. But you're also going to get
01:54better Sazam, faster Sazam performance, which I'll enjoy. But even cooler, there's
01:58live rewind, double tap the digital crown, it'll chime, and then it'll show you a
02:02transcript of what I just said. And then there's also Siri recap. And for the full
02:05story on Apple Watch Series 12, you can check out techradar.com. Let me know in the
02:08comments down below what you think of it. Is this an upgrade year for you? And are you
02:12most excited about the readiness features, the AI features, or this
02:14redesigned back?
