00:00This right here is the Apple Watch Series 12. It's the mid-range in the lineup. You can still
00:03get the SE for a little bit cheaper. You can pay more for the Ultra. But this is the Apple
00:07Watch
00:07Series 12. And the real focus this year here is all on health. So there's a new health sensing
00:12system and a whole new health sensing stack on the back. It looks like new electrodes,
00:16a new backing system that Apple's made and done a whole process for. Essentially,
00:20they're claiming it's more accurate than ever, especially for heart rate. You do also now get
00:24heart rate variability and all-day heart rate tracking. Those are two things to look for.
00:28So what is that powering? Well, for starters, at launch, there's a readiness score,
00:32Lookout Aura, Lookout Whoop, adding more contextualization to your data sledding.
00:36You know, can you go a little harder in the morning maybe or take it a little bit easier
00:39when you wake up? That'll be really cool to dive into. You do need seven nights of sleep to get
00:43a good reading on it. Later this year, the Apple Watch Series 12 is moving from Apple's just health
00:49wearable, let's call it, and, you know, kind of notification deliverer into their AI wearable
00:54to a degree. We're getting features like Live Rewind where you can hear a transcription for the
00:58past 15 seconds or something that was said. There's the Siri recap feature where it listens
01:02throughout the day and basically distills down to just the facts. You get that at the end of the day
01:06to look at and doesn't attribute it to any people or how many people might have been speaking.
01:10Also, a sound recognition, which we might know from the iPhone or from HomePod and HomePod Mini,
01:14and there's also better Shazam, quicker Shazam.
