00:00Here is everything you need to know about the latest Apple Watches.
00:03The first upgrade you need to know about is the new health sensing system.
00:07It's better than ever at reading your heart rate,
00:09with a new electrode design on the back of the watches,
00:11improving measurements both during sleep and in motion.
00:14Apple Watch has finally got a readiness score, just like Google and Garmin,
00:18taking into account your rings, vitals and other health metrics
00:22to update your readiness throughout the day.
00:24You've also now got Health Age, just like the Whoop Age feature on Whoop,
00:27and Fitness Age on Garmin, which compares your health and fitness levels
00:31to the averages for your gender and age groups.
00:33Audio Intelligence provides four new features that work and interface with Siri AI
00:38using the microphone on your watch.
00:40First, you can Shazam songs from your wrist now,
00:43and your watch will recognize sounds like doorbells and sirens,
00:46alerting you, useful for the hard of hearing or if you're wearing headphones.
00:50But it's the next two features that are sure to be slightly controversial.
00:54Live Rewind allows Apple to provide a transcript of the last 15 seconds
00:57of conversation by double-tapping the digital crown, while Siri Recaps uses AI to provide
01:03a recap of your day, including any conversations the Apple Watch may have listened to.
01:07There's tons of privacy assurances around these features from Apple,
01:10and apparently it doesn't store any data, but I feel like Apple is courting controversy here.
01:15Hardware-wise, very little has changed in terms of design.
01:18The Series 12 gets a new ceramic lens, new color in dark bronze,
01:21and the new S11 chipset, as well as the redesigned health sensing system.
01:25The Ultra 4 gets additional battery life. Finally, it gets to 48 hours,
01:29as well as 18 hours of GPS, as well as the new lens, chipset, and sensor system.
01:33Crucially, neither watch has had a price increase, despite the components crisis. Awesome.
