00:35So you're from India, and you converted from being a Muslim to Christianity.
00:40And you're now a pastor, so I'm excited to just get into the story, how it happened, and what the
00:47Lord has been doing in your life.
00:48First of all, before that, brother, I just want to introduce myself.
00:52My name is Jana Sheikh, and I'm a pastor from India.
00:55I was born into a deeply religious Islamic family.
00:59But by the grace of God, my life was transformed.
01:03And today, I have been, became a bold preacher, proclaiming the gospel across India.
01:09Come on.
01:10So before that, I just want to greet you, brother, Cliff.
01:14I truly appreciate what you're doing in the USA for God's kingdom.
01:17I deeply admire your passion for your country.
01:20And even more, your burden for people and for the souls was amazing.

01:55But yeah, tell us, tell us the story, man.
01:58Yes, brother.
01:58My name is Sheikh Jana.
02:00The name Jana means paradise.
02:02I have one older brother and one elder sister, and I'm the youngest in my family.
02:08I come from Dumeru village in Kovuru, Mandalam, Andhra Pradesh, India.
02:12So my family was among the first family in our community to establish the mosque.
02:18You know, right, the mosque.
02:19So my maternal grandfather was an imam, a prayer leader in the mosque.
02:24He brought many Muslim families together, established a mosque, taught people how to pray.
02:31And taught the Islamic faith and the message of Allah to many peoples.
02:36So my life and my upbringing began very closely with my grandfather.
02:43But my childhood and my life in Islam is very, very, like, terrific.
02:50From a very young age, I was deeply involved in Islam.
02:54But as I grew up, as I grew up, I became very angry and aggressive person.
03:02I had very little love for people.
03:04I would get into fights, threaten people, and sometimes even beat people.
03:10The thinking that I had been planted in my heart, I used to be like, I used to say that
03:17when I used to be Islam, if I live, I must live for Allah.
03:21If I die, if I kill, I must kill for Allah.
03:26So that kind of root was planted in my heart.
03:29So when I heard anyone is preaching about Jesus Christ, I would immediately become angry.
03:37And once upon a time, it happened in my life.
03:40So when I finished my fazar namaz in the early morning, I was walking on the road.
03:45And one day, a pastor and his team were going from house to house, distributing Christian literatures.
03:56When I saw them, I became extremely angry.
03:58I thought I had to do something about this pastor.
04:02I called some of my Islamic Muslim friends.
04:07We confronted the pastor and threatened him and took all the Christian pamphlets from him and brought them home.
04:16There were nearly 2,000 Christian Bibles, related pamphlets and materials.
04:22I burned them.
04:23When I burned them, I used to say that,
04:25Allah is the only God to all over the world.
04:30As they watched them, I burned them and I shouted,
04:33there is no God, but Allah is a true God.
04:38That was how I strongly hated Christianity at the time.
04:42I never imagined that one day I would become a follower of Jesus Christ.
04:49So that was the person I was before I encountered with Jesus.
04:54So my father was a man who prayed,
04:57but later he became deeply addicted to the alcohol.
05:00My mother was a daughter of an imam and she had made many sacrifices for our family, for Allah.
05:07One day, because of our difficult situation,
05:09my mother went to her father, like my grandpa,
05:12and said,
05:13Father, how long can my children and I continue depending on you?
05:20My husband is struggling with alcohol and he is not thinking about the future of our children.
05:26I have decided to go to Kuwait, find work and support for my family.
05:31And I want to educate my son, Jana, and give my children a future.
05:36And of course, my grandfather told to my mom,
05:39Hey, go, I will not stop you.
05:41But before you leave, you must arrange the marriages of your children.
05:46So my elder sister was brought back from Nandiyala,
05:49where she had been involved in a teaching of the Quran to the children.
05:53And she's a professor.
05:54I mean, she's a lecturer.
05:56And she was married at a young age.
05:58After that, my mother went to Kuwait to work.
06:01I remained in India with my grandfather.
06:04So my life as a young boy, my life was extremely difficult, brother.
06:08Seriously.
06:08I would wake up early in the morning and I go to Fazar Namaz.
06:12Then from around 8 a.m. in the morning until 6 p.m. in the evening,
06:16I worked as a mechanic, like a bike mechanic in my uncle's Jani shop.
06:20From 6 to 8 p.m. in the evening, I used to attend a private school to study.
06:26After prayer, from around 8 at night until midnight,
06:30I washed the plates in the hotels in our village.
06:33This is what my life is.
06:36We were a very poor family.
06:37But at the time, I did not complain.
06:41But my whole world was Allah.
06:44I thought sometimes my position is Allah.
06:46My strength is Allah.
06:48My work is for Allah.
06:49My identity is for Allah.
06:51That is what the way I lived, brother.
06:54So one day, my grandfather became serious.
06:56Seriously, he was sick.
06:58He couldn't hardly speak or move.
07:00I would go to him and pray and read the Quran.
07:05Alhamdulillah.
07:09You know, when people are sick, when people are sleeping,
07:13when people are ill, we have to say the kalima.
07:16So my grandfather is an imam.
07:19And I also became like a small imam, like, you know, like imam's grandson.
07:24So one afternoon after a prayer in the evening, I was wearing my prayer cap.
07:30When I entered the room, I saw my grandfather lying on the bed.
07:35His mouth had moved to one side and there was a blood coming from his mouth.
07:40I became very frightened.
07:43You know, like, I didn't know, I did not know whom to call.
07:47At the time, we did not have proper mobile phones.
07:50My mother had already been in Kuwait for about three years.
07:54I took the coin from my grandfather's pocket and I went to the public telephone booth.
07:58I called my aunties.
08:00They came and took my grandfather to the hospital.
08:02And Ramadan, in the middle of the time, Ramadan came.
08:06I fasted.
08:07I attended to Tarabi Namask prayers and spent more time studying in the Quran.
08:12When Ramadan ended, my grandfather was brought home from the hospital in ambulance.
08:17He was between life and death.
08:19He was lying on the bed.
08:20I went, I went near to him and asked her what happened.
08:24One of my aunt told me that he may not survive.
08:27I said, don't be afraid.
08:28I'm reading the Kalima.
08:30I'm praying to Allah.
08:32Allah gonna, you know, make him, make him stronger.
08:36But my grandfather wanted to see his youngest daughter like my mother.
08:40My mother had left us with the telephone number of an Arab employer before she went to Kuwait.
08:47I went to an STD telephone booth and I called that number.
08:51At the first, my mother did not answer.
08:53Someone else answered the phone.
08:55Eventually, they gave the phone to my mother.
09:00Then I heard her wife.
09:01She asked her, son, why do you call?
09:03How are you?
09:05Everything is okay?
09:06And then I told her, mother, your father is dying.
09:08He wants to see you.
09:10Please come to India quickly.
09:11Then my mother began to cry.
09:14You know, she said she would pray and call me back.
09:17Later, she called me again and said, I will send money.
09:19Take my father to bigger hospital.
09:23But I told her, mother, even if you send all your money from your employee, if you took any money
09:30from your employee, I don't think he will survive.
09:32I returned home.
09:33I told to my mom, I returned home.
09:35I told my grandfather, mother is coming.
09:38As soon as he heard those words, my grandfather died.
09:44I called my mother and told her, your father has died.
09:48But she did not answer.
09:49I called her again and again and again.
09:52I called perhaps 20 times.
09:54There was no answer.
09:56I was devastated.
09:57I had lost my grandfather.
09:59I was crying.
10:00And I had no idea what happened to my mother.
10:04And, you know, everything is cleared.
10:07And after my grandfather's death, I continued deeply in Islamic life.
10:12I became an imam.
10:14So I am the second imam in my village.
10:16So my grandfather was established.
10:19My grandfather built a big mosque.
10:22And after his death, I became like a priest.
10:26I became like imam.
10:27Every five times, father, johar, asr, maghrib, isha.
10:29These five times, I used to go every time.
10:31And I used to call.
10:44So even though I was very young, I became giving the Adan, what I call right now, to call all
10:52the peoples to the prayer.
10:53I became involved in leading prayers and was becoming a very strict follower of Islam.
10:59But I was also crying pain in my heart because I lost my mother.
11:06I lost my grandfather.
11:08And I don't know what happened to my mother.
11:10And seriously, I was living like a bad life.
11:14Even though I have Islamic.
11:16Even though I have, you know, like I tried to survive myself.
11:22But I was so poor family.
11:24Sometimes I did not have enough food.
11:26Nobody is there to cook for me.
11:27Nobody is to feed me.
11:29My mother was far away.
11:30I kept calling her.
11:32But no one answered.
11:33Six months passed away.
11:34I began to think about my mom.
11:38Maybe my mother also died.
11:40That is what I told.
11:41Because from six months, six months passed after my grandfather passed, you know, six months, seven months, it's been passing.
11:48Every day I'm trying to call.
11:50The phone is working, but nobody is not lifting.
11:52So in the time, I thought that maybe my mother has died.
11:55I had no idea whether she was alive or dead.
11:59But one day I went to the school.
12:02A teacher came to school carrying a Bible.
12:05He came to me and began speaking to me about Jesus and salvation.
12:10And immediately I became my angry brother.
12:12You know what happened, right?
12:14So any person, any pastor who is distributing the Bibles and distributing the materials of lectures, what I did, I
12:21grabbed his shirt and I took all the 2000 Bibles and materials.
12:24You know, I fired it.
12:25I told Astaka for Allah.
12:27I told Bismillah.
12:29I told Allah is Allah Muhammad is only one God.
12:32Allahu Akbar.
12:33Only one God.
12:34That is the life that I used to be.
12:36But when this, when the teacher came to me and starting speaking about Jesus and salvation, immediately I became angry.
12:46I threw the books that were in my hands, I just strode and I told, never speak to me about
12:54Jesus again.
12:55We have Allah.
12:56I don't need your God.
12:57The teacher, as soon as, apologized and left.
13:01But the next day he came back again.
13:03He began speaking to me.
13:05That time, this time, instead of becoming angry, something changed inside me.
13:10You know, I began talking to him about Islam and I told him, the word Islam means the path to
13:16salvation.
13:17He said, okay, then take me to your mosque.
13:21He asked him, the teacher, and I was so happy.
13:23And I asked him, are you clean?
13:26Are you clean?
13:28If you want to come to my mosque, you have to be clean.
13:31You have to be holy.
13:32And he said, and he said, if you are already clean, why do you need God?
13:39He cautioned me.
13:41Then he told me something I had never heard before.
13:44He said, I am not clean.
13:46I need a God who can clean, make me clean in my heart.
13:52He told me.
13:54I told him, no, no, no.
13:55If you come to my mosque, you can wash your body in any river, you know, like hands and everything.
14:03But he was, start talking to me.
14:05He told me, hey, Jana, you can wash your body in any river in all over the world.
14:10Like Amazon, Amazon River, like Pacific River, like ocean.
14:15But, but, but, but.
14:17You cannot wash the sin from your heart.
14:20He told me that.
14:21I was thinking, you know, I was literally shocked.
14:25What he's saying?
14:26Every five times, father, Zohar, Rasser, Maghrib, Bisha, every five times I used to go, before I give Adhan, Allah,
14:32I used to go and I clean my heart.
14:35I clean my hands.
14:36I clean my face.
14:37I clean my ears.
14:38I clean my heart.
14:39You know, my food and everything.
14:42And when he told me, again, you can wash your body to go mask in any river or water, but
14:50you cannot wash the sin from your heart.
14:54Come on.
14:54Juvra God asked people to became a clean before coming to him.
15:00But my Jesus comes to people like me, make sinners like, you know, like, but my Jesus comes to people
15:10like me and makes sinners to be a clean.
15:14Jesus looks at the heart and he's able to heal what is inside a person.
15:21Those words stayed with me.
15:24Then he invited me to church.
15:27Then I told him, sir, always you are saying Jesus is a God.
15:30Jesus is a God.
15:31Jesus is not God.
15:36He's not at all God.
15:37He's my prophet.
15:38You know, more than you, we follow him.
15:40We follow his things.
15:42We follow his words.
15:43More than 364 times, you know, Quran talks about Jesus.
15:48He's the prophet.
15:49Don't say he's a God.
15:50And again, he's saying that.
15:51Again, he's saying that.
15:52If you want to wash your body, you can go to the mask.
15:57But if you want to wash your heart, there is no any other God going to clean your heart.
16:04And I told him, who?
16:05Then who?
16:06My Jesus.
16:07My Jesus.
16:08My God who can make sinners clean.
16:14Those words again stayed with me.
16:16And I told him, hey, stop talking to me.
16:20I will come.
16:21I want to see how great your God really is.
16:25But I will not go inside the church.
16:27I will sit outside.
16:29And you know what?
16:30He agreed.
16:32That Saturday night, there was an all-night prayer meeting at the church.
16:38That is my first time that I went to church.
16:41I went there.
16:42But I sat outside.
16:44I don't want to go inside.
16:45I don't want to go inside because I don't want to dishonor by Allah.
16:49I was sitting outside.
16:50There is a chair.
16:51And I prayed to Allah.
16:53I prayed to Allah and said, I'm not going to the church, Allah.
16:56I have come here to bring this teacher back to Islam.
17:01Please forgive me if I come here.
17:03And I prayed to Allah.
17:05And I was sitting at the church outside.
17:10There were many people inside the church.
17:13For the first time in my life, I saw people kneeling down and praying.
17:17And second wonderful thing that I seen, people were crying.
17:22I had never, ever seen anything like this before.
17:26Because in my understanding at the time, people in the mosque did not pray.
17:31I mean, we prayed.
17:33That way I had been taught with my grandfather.
17:38That if you want to ask anything, you have to pray.
17:42But no need to cry.
17:43The prophets who had died could carry our prayers to God.
17:49That's what my grandfather used to taught me.
17:52Don't need to cry.
17:53Because in Islamic, we never, ever cry.
17:55In mosque, we never cry.
17:58Because we always, we make dua.
18:01Dua means like a prayer.
18:02Yeah, Allah, forgive me your sins.
18:04Yeah, Allah, forgive me your sins.
18:06Yeah, Allah, forgive me your sins.
18:06Yeah, Allah, forgive me your sins.
18:07Yeah, Allah, forgive me your sins.
18:09And I will go to my house.
18:11And I will go to my house.
18:12You know, this kind of prayer we used to do.
18:14My grandfather taught me that you don't need to cry.
18:17Your prayers, you know, carry the prophets who died.
18:23They could carry our prayers to God.
18:25But that night, something happened to me.
18:27I was sitting outside in the, outside the church.
18:30The church is going inside.
18:31And I, myself, I am like, hey, Janna, we should not go into the church.
18:37We should not dishonor to Allah.
18:38I was talking to myself.
18:40I don't know exactly what happened to me.
18:45But that night, exactly when I moved, I don't know why I did it.
18:52But I went inside.
18:54I found myself kneeling down and praying.
18:56And I became crying.
18:58I was crying deeply.
19:00I was shouting, like crying.
19:02I don't know how I went inside.
19:04But I think that somebody take, you know, push me inside.
19:09But my commitment is like, no, we are Islam.
19:12I am an imam.
19:14I used to lead more than 200 people in my village.
19:18So I am a priest.
19:19I am imam.
19:20So I should not go inside.
19:21My grandfather is an imam.
19:23My grandfather is the first person who established the mosque in Domeru, in my village.
19:28So I used to take care of myself.
19:29I used to take care of my faith in Allah.
19:32I don't know what happened exactly that night.
19:35I just moved inside.
19:37And myself kneeling down and praying.
19:39I began to cry.
19:41I was crying deeply.
19:42The servant of God who had invited me, noticing me that I was crying and gently comforted me.
19:49I opened my eyes.
19:50I realized that I was inside the church.
19:54Eventually, you don't know what happened that night.
19:56I grabbed his shirt and said, who brought me inside?
19:59I told you I would not come inside.
20:02And he looked at me and said, Babu, Jana, no one brought you inside.
20:07You came inside by yourself.
20:09You came here.
20:10You kneel down and you prayed.
20:13I was that word really shocked me.
20:16I went home almost 11.45 at night.
20:20I reached home around like 11.45 p.m. at night.
20:24And I was alone in my room.
20:26I was thinking, why did I go to, why did I go inside the church?
20:31I have insulted Allah.
20:34I have dishonored Allah.
20:36And, you know, I went to sleep.
20:39I started trying to read Quran.
20:42And Allah, I dishonored you.
20:45I insulted you.
20:46But something takes me inside.
20:48I don't know what to do.
20:49You know, that is the prayer that I was doing before I sleep.
20:53So after everything happened, I tried to sleep on the bed.
20:57I went to sleep.
20:58While I was sleeping.
21:01This is the ultimate testimony, brother.
21:03How I encountered Jesus.
21:05Jesus, while I was sleeping, I heard a voice.
21:09Jana, wake up and pray.
21:13What?
21:14Wait, who is talking to me?
21:17Immediately, I woke up immediately.
21:18I opened the door.
21:20Nobody was there.
21:21I became frightened.
21:23I performed, you know, like a, what do you know, like a, Tarabi.
21:29I put, what do you call that in English that?
21:34Like, Tasbih.
21:35You know, Tasbih means, some of the Islamic priestess, they used to hold some, like a chain.
21:40They used to say, Shubhan Allah, Alhamdulillah.
21:42You know, maybe a lot of Imams, like high priest, they used to carry like a small thing.
21:48And saying like, Shubhan Allah.
21:49Yeah, so I performed, uh, uh, uh, Tasbih, washing my face again, hands and feet, recited the Kalima again.
21:58I went back to sleep again.
22:00Again, I heard, second time, Jana, wake up and pray.
22:04It was not in dream.
22:06Seriously, I heard a voice.
22:09My whole body was trembling.
22:12Then, for the third time, I heard the voice again, Jana, wake up.
22:17It's me.
22:18Wake up and pray.
22:20When I heard it the third time, I understood in my heart it was Jesus.
22:25I grabbed the leg off my bed and began to cry.
22:28I prayed, Jesus.
22:29People say, you are God.
22:31If you are really a true God of this world, let me hear my mother's voice.
22:36I have not heard her voice for seven months.
22:40If I heard her voice, I will serve you.
22:43I will become a witness for you.
22:46I prayed through that night.
22:48I began praying around midnight.
22:50I prayed until four in the morning.
22:53Then five o'clock came.
22:56You know, I just opened my eyes.
22:58I was kneeling almost four hours.
22:59And I jumped on the bed and sitting and watching the time.
23:03All night, I haven't sleep.
23:05Five o'clock came, six o'clock, seven o'clock, eight o'clock.
23:09But that night, I prayed that if you are a true God, I want to hear my mom's voice at
23:16nine o'clock, 9 a.m. in the morning.
23:18I was praying.
23:19I was praying.
23:21Six o'clock came, seven, eight, 8.45.
23:25You know, that night, that early morning, I did not go to Father's Prayer.
23:29I was still sitting and praying and looking at the time.
23:32Around 8.45 in the morning, one of the postmen came to our house.
23:37He told me, the owner of the STD telephone shop asked me to tell you to come quickly.
23:42There is a phone call for you.
23:44Wow.
23:45I asked her, why?
23:47He said, someone is calling.
23:49You need to answer it.
23:50I ran to the telephone shop.
23:52I thought, if God really knows everything, perhaps my mother will call.
23:58At exactly nine in the morning, the phone was ringing.
24:02I picked up, I picked it up, I said, hello.
24:06And then, I heard my mother's wife.
24:08She was crying.
24:09Come on.
24:10I began crying too.
24:11I said, mother, where have you been?
24:14It has been so many months.
24:17I thought you had died.
24:19I called you so many times, nobody answered.
24:22There was nobody to even give me food.
24:25My mother told me, son, I'm calling you from a prison in an Arab country.
24:31That word was, it makes me very shocked.
24:34I asked her, prison?
24:37But you went to work in the house, right?
24:41She explained to me that, yes, yes, my son.
24:44What had happened?
24:45She said that after I told her that her father was died seven months before,
24:52she went to her employer and begged them to allow her to return to India.
24:59She said she was mistreated.
25:03Her passport was destroyed.
25:05And she was accused of attempting to assault the employer's wife.
25:10She was arrested and sentenced to five years in prison.
25:14Wow.
25:15My heart was broken.
25:16I thought, why are you saying all these things to my mom?
25:19You're saying like seven months, I can't able to survive myself here in India.
25:23Now you're saying that you have been sentenced.
25:27Almost five years in the prison.
25:29My heart was going to broken.
25:31I'm going to take suicide.
25:32I'm going to kill myself.
25:33I thought in the time when my mom is telling all these things,
25:37Jesus, you answered my prayers by allowing me to hear my mother's voice.
25:43But now I have heard a terrible news while I was talking to my mom.
25:49Should I believe that you are a really God?
25:53Or should I take my own life?
25:55Should I take my own life?
25:57I want, I should cry.
25:58I should kill myself.
25:59I was crying in the phone and crying.
26:02Then my mother told me something that,
26:05Hey, son, don't cry.
26:07I will never forget you.
26:10And she said slowly.
26:12Son, last night around midnight,
26:14the prison officer came and opened my cell door.
26:18He told me to sign on the documents.
26:20I was crying, so I signed on it almost 12 a.m. in the midnight.
26:28As I was walking back to my, toward my cell,
26:32he stopped me.
26:33He said, Hey, wait, where are you going?
26:35And I asked her and my mom said,
26:38You know, I'm going to the cell.
26:39Wait, the document you signed was not for five years in the prison.
26:44You signed the papers to go home in five weeks.
26:48That is a good news that I heard from my mom.
26:50You have been proven as an innocent.
26:56That was the moment I realized that God has opened a prison door for my mother.
27:01The night before, I had prayed in India.
27:05And Jesus, if you are really God, let me hear my mother's voice.
27:10At the same time, same day, you know, in a prison, in another country,
27:15my mother was receiving news that she was going home.
27:19That experience changed my life.
27:22I believed that Jesus Christ was real.
27:25I went back to the Bible.
27:28And after I believed in Jesus, I remember the pastor whose Bible literature and 2000 Bibles I had burned.
27:37I went to that servant of God home.
27:39I apologized to him.
27:41I said, I'm sorry.
27:42If you have a Bible, can you please give me one?
27:45He gave me a Bible.
27:47I took that Bible to home.
27:48I held it against my chest.
27:51And I cried.
27:52I cried and cried.
27:53The Bible I had once burned, once burned became the Bible I could not live without.
28:01Come on.
28:01But I was afraid that people would find out that I was following Jesus.
28:06So when I went to church, I would wrap the Bible in a newspaper, tie it, tying it with a
28:14string, hide it, hide it inside my pants and secretly carry it with me to go to the prayer.
28:23That was how I began following Jesus.
28:26When my family found out, eventually my family, my relatives and Islamic leaders discovered that I had accepted Jesus as
28:35my savior.
28:35I was kicked out from my house.
28:37I faced andromous oppositions.
28:41My mother eventually returned to India after those five weeks.
28:47When she came back, instead of asking her how she was, I immediately started telling her about Jesus.
28:54I told her, mother, Jesus is the savior.
28:57She became very angry.
28:58She held me, struck me and said, you have to ask Allah forgiveness.
29:03Your grandfather was an imam.
29:06You were supposed to become a prayer leader after him.
29:09How can you say, how dare you to say that Jesus is a God?
29:13Jesus could not accept, accept my decision.
29:18She could not accept my decision.
29:20She's saying and slapping on my face and saying that, no, you should not.
29:25You cannot say Jesus is a God.
29:28Immediately, I kissed my mother and told her, mother, I may have to leave you, but I will never leave
29:38Jesus who saved you from the prison, who saved me.
29:41I took my Bible and walked away.
29:45Life after leaving home, I had no way to leave.
29:48I slept in in burial grounds, cemeteries.
29:52I slept on the footpaths.
29:54I slept in parks.
29:55I slept on roadside and bus stops.
29:58I experienced humiliation, rejections when I believe in Christ.
30:03But I kept saying, even if I die, I will not leave Jesus.
30:07I was beaten and attacked because of my faith.
30:11I continued following Christ.
30:14Eventually, I married a Christian woman.
30:17But even after my marriage, the opposition continued.
30:21What happened to my home, the house that had come to me through my family was eventually taken over by
30:32people from my Islamic community.
30:36This was happened in August 2025.
30:39More than 2,000 cases were filed against me in the court.
30:43200 cases.
30:44I have faced many legal and personal struggles right now.
30:49I have also received threats, threat calls.
30:53I have been told that people want to see.
30:56I have, you know, people want to see my end.
30:58You know, my Islamic people, they are saying, we're going to see your end.
31:02I lost the home I had.
31:04Today, I live in a rented house with my wife and our two daughters.
31:10Even through all these struggles, I continue serving Jesus.
31:15At times, I have worked a long hours, sometimes 12 to 16 hours.
31:19A day, right now also.
31:21Including working as a food delivery worker to support my family.
31:28But at the same time, I serve children who have lost their parents in a boat accident.
31:34I help provide food and education around like 22 children who did not have their parents to care them in
31:41the church, in the ministry that I'm doing in India.
31:44I do not have enough financial support.
31:46I have struggled, I have struggled, but I continue praying.
31:49You know, I believe that I continue praying God.
31:53Will you send someone to partner with my ministry, with this ministry?
31:56Will you raise people who will help build your kingdom?
32:00For years, I have been continue praying, praying, praying.
32:03And I have seen people come to know Jesus.
32:07There are families who, according to my testimony and ministry experience, have secretly accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior.
32:16I carry a great burden for ministry.
32:19I want to reach people who have never heard the gospel.
32:24Even today, I receive 13 phone calls.
32:26Sometimes the calls are very short, but they know where I am.
32:30I have had to move, I have had to move from one house to another.
32:35My wife, my wife has also received, you know, abzu and threatening phone calls.
32:42But I continue, I remember the words of Jesus.
32:45You will be my witness to the ends of the earth.
32:49Come on.
32:50So that is the word, that is the, that is the word I am holding on it too.
32:54I travel across India with my wife and continue proclaiming that Jesus Christ is the Savior.
33:01I know there is a danger.
33:03I know there is a opposition, but I cannot stop.
33:06You know, there was a time when I believe if I live, I must live for Allah.
33:12If I kill, I must kill for Allah.
33:15That was the person I used to be.
33:17But today, I stand here and say, if I live, I will live for Jesus.
33:22If Jesus gives me life, I will live that life for him until my last breath.
33:30The man who once burned the Bible is now carrying the Bible.
33:34The man who once hated Christian is now preaching to Christian people.
33:39The man who once threatened people because of his faith is now telling people about the love of Jesus.
33:45My story is not about how strong I was.
33:49It is about what I believe Jesus Christ did in my life.
33:53Amen.
33:53I believe Jesus found me when I was lost.
33:56He changed in my heart.
33:58He gave me a new purpose.
34:00He gave me like a new hope.
34:02And today I was, I want to spend the rest of my life serving him.
34:07This is my testimony, brother.

34:15Man, going into this, obviously, I did not know your story.
34:18And so it's so powerful to hear it and to know, like, you have gone through real suffering, real persecution.
34:24And, you know, in the West, you know, people do experience persecution, but it is few and far between from
34:29the extremes that, you know, some of the things that you're describing.
34:33And, brother, I just want to encourage you to keep going for the Lord, man.
34:38Keep standing firm on your faith, on the foundation of Jesus Christ.
34:41Just, brother, he declared victory on that cross, right?
34:45Like, he defeated death when he rose from the grave.
34:47And it's like, we have the same Holy Spirit residing in us that resided in him, right?
34:52And, man, it is such a privilege and an honor to just get to talk to you and know that,
34:56like, this is the ministry and the work that you're doing right now.
34:58That's brilliant.
34:59You know, I definitely have some more questions for you quickly here.
35:03I know in India, it was always my understanding that, you know, Hinduism is the predominant religion in India.
35:09But I know that Islam has been taking root and, you know, spreading across India as well.
35:16So you said your grandfather was the first imam in your village.
35:22Was that kind of around the time that you were seeing Islam spread more or did you have any Hindu
35:27relation there?
35:28Or kind of, what does that look like in your area?
35:31My area is, like, full of, like, few countries, few states.
35:35Mm-hmm.
35:35You know, like, up and down.
35:36Like, coming to my area, Hinduism in the first place.
35:40And second place is Islamic, brother.
35:42Okay.
35:44So, yeah.
35:45Yes, brother.
35:46Okay.
35:46Islamic.
35:47And then when did Christianity start to take root there?
35:52In India?
35:53Yeah, well, like, around your area.
35:57No, brother.
35:58Christianity was recently, like, yeah, Christianity is the third place where I live.
36:05But very few peoples, brother.
36:06Very few peoples where I live.
36:08Yeah.
36:09Very few churches, few Christian missionaries.
36:12And, of course, many of them knows me very well.
36:16If you Google my name, you can see there, you know, my witness.
36:21It's not a website, but Google is going to tell about me, how I suffer, what's happening, everything.
36:28But the high court, the judge, they already given me, like, an order.
36:32You should not go anywhere.
36:33You have it threatened.
36:35Yeah.
36:36But, you know, maybe the judge given the order that I should not preach.
36:41But 2,000 years that Jesus was, you know, he told me that, go and preach the gospel.
36:47Come on.
36:48And be my witness and of the earth.
36:52So that is the order we have to hold, brother.

36:54I know my life was in threat.
36:57I have two daughters, brother.
36:59Every day they are coming and asking me that, Abba, we don't have a house.
37:03They took our house.

37:06You know, I went to court.
37:08You know, more than 200 cases were filed against me in the court.

37:14The only thing that I did, I was preaching the gospel.

37:23Because, you know, right now, I could say that, I almost studied Quran like 24 times.
37:29On 25th time, when I was not understanding, Quran leads me to study the Bible.
37:34Quran leads me to Injil.
37:37You know, it says that.
37:50You know, all these kalimas, you know, thought about Jesus.
37:53You know, I just want to look on to Jesus.
37:55When I was studying, when I was reading, I was not able to look, where is the salvation in Quran?
38:00I tried to look, where is the salvation?
38:02To whom I have to believe?
38:03You know, Muhammad?
38:04No, he can't give the salvation.
38:06Who can give me eternal life?
38:09So, I was, again I was studying, again I was studying, you know,
38:16You know,
38:19It says me that, go to your first books, which was sent by God.
38:24Go and read that.
38:25You may understand where is the salvation.
38:27Then, Quran leads me to study the Bible.
38:32Then I came to believe that, yes, I need to give my life to Christ.
38:35You know, whatever happens.
38:37What circumstance comes behind me?
38:39I want to go, I want to preach, I want to reach all the souls, those who are not accepting
38:46the Christ.
38:47You know, till now, brother, till now, it's been 14 years, I have been serving God, I have been preaching,
38:52and you know, government stopping, trying to stop me.
38:54And nobody, the government does it, not helping me, you know, the house that I had come to me through
39:00my family was eventually taken over by my former community.
39:04They took my house, they took my land.
39:06I was trying to give the police complaint, nobody taking my police complaint.
39:10My kids are suffering.
39:12I lost everything, brother, but I haven't lost hope in Christ, brother.
39:16Come on.
39:17Yeah, brother.
39:18Yes, sir.
39:18Well, brother, I'm so sorry to hear about the house and what you're experiencing over there.
39:23I definitely want to make sure that we put any information we can in the description here, where if people
39:28want to support and reach out, they're able to do that.

40:20you can be that light to them.

41:10200 people came to kill me, brother.
41:12When I was renting, brother, 200 Islamic people, they brought, like, knives and, you know, rods.
41:20They just came to kill us.
41:22You know, me and my family, we escaped from that place.
41:27And they are trying to search me, search me.
41:30I give in a complaint.
41:31I have the proofs.
41:32I have the videos, how they came to my home.
41:34And they are looking for me.
41:36You know, they took my house.
41:37Almost, I lost a lot of money, brother.
41:39Sometimes I was, it's really hard to, you know, pay for my rent, brother.
41:43I can't be able to buy a few things for my daughters.
41:46Because, yes, before I used to be, I had a lot of money.
41:50But all the money I spent on the house, which was construction,
41:53now the construction house was under control of the Islamic community.
41:58You know, you believe in Jesus, then go and ask your Jesus.
42:01He's going to give you.
42:02We can't, we will see your end.
42:06We can't, we can't see you as a lie.
42:09That is what their agenda, their agenda is to kill me.
42:13Their agenda is to, you know, took my life.

42:16Because I know Quran.

42:22I became like a viral and preaching the gospel, bold gospel, you know, traveling all over the India.

42:37Sometimes I was, I was not able to buy the food, brother, to my kids.
42:41I was not able to buy the food, brother.
42:44They grown, you know, one is 80 years and one is 60.
42:46You know how hard, really hard to raise in India, brother.
42:50It's very hard to raise in India.
42:54I was doing a ministry, brother.
42:56Other side, I was trying to help the kids who lost their parents in the church.
42:59You know, like I was adopted there.
43:0216 hours, I have been working on a food delivery and helping them.
43:06Other side, I have to take care of the family.
43:08Other side, I have to go and preach the gospel.
43:11Using media, however, whatever, anytime, we have to spread the gospel.
43:15Yeah.
43:15Just this life, my heart, just given to Jesus, brother.
43:19That's it.

43:43people who we live comfortable Christian lives and we don't realize what is really happening
43:48on the other side of the world, that you are still obedient and serving the Lord no matter
