00:00Azerbaijan has announced planned investment projects worth billions of dollars.
00:04This follows a series of 23 agreements with international investors at the Azerbaijan
00:09International Investment Forum in Baku.
00:11The agreements cover some of the fastest growing areas of the economy.
00:14The confirmed amount that we can say today is $10.8 billion of 26 contracts that have
00:23been executed in various fields ranging from AI to energy, from manufacturing to production.
00:31And in that sense, that's a figure which we operate as of today.
00:35Azerbaijan's economy minister says the non-oil and gas economy already accounted for 71% of
00:41GDP in 2025, with the government targeting 82% by 2030.
00:46The scale becomes even bigger when combined with projects announced during Baku Energy Week
00:51in June.
00:52Together, planned joint projects announced this year are valued at $16.7 billion.
00:57However, Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev said investments into oil and gas were still
01:02the biggest.
01:03The contracts which actually led to development in the oil and gas sector, signed 30 years
01:11ago, still are absolutely untouched.
01:14Not a single word was changed.
01:17And that was one of the factors to attract investors.
01:20So, already we have a very credible portfolio of being a very responsible partner.
01:26Baku is trying to turn investment into a broader economic transformation and strengthen its position
01:31as a business and connectivity hub between Asia and Europe.

01:37Thank you all.
01:38Amen.
