00:25Doc, what impressed you most yesterday for the Commanders getting that big of a win against a team like that?
00:31It's the Amik Robertson type, aggression, determination.
00:37Nick Allegretti, to me, was my player of the game.
00:40Because when you miss as much camp as he missed, come in at a different position, and then Godzilla is
00:47lined up over you.
00:49And yet you fight and claw, and you deny Godzilla the thrill of ending the whole deal.
00:57Medrano, all these people that we've heard about in rumors, but they never get in the game.
01:03Now they're in the game, and they're making plays.
01:06And so it doesn't matter the size, man.
01:08None of that matters other than the heart and the determination.
01:12And they officially put themselves on the map in my mind because I would have lost everything thinking that they
01:21were going to win the game.
01:24And Kelly McManus, that's the guy I said, I would have started him thinking that that way I know I
01:29got eight to come in and save the day.
01:31I don't want to risk the rookie.
01:32All those things are going through my mind.
01:33And they come out there, and they kick the crap out of the best team on the planet who hadn't
01:40lost since I had an Afro.
01:42And I'm thinking, we have something now.
01:45Doc, like yesterday watching Sonny Styles and also even came Medrano, they honored two people yesterday.
01:52One was Sonny Jurgerson, so Sonny Styles, I guess, is namesake.
01:57But watching both of those guys, didn't they play a little bit like Mr. Monte Coleman?

02:03It was so emotional to think of what Tigo meant.
02:09And it's amazing that a guy built like Tarzan and with all the skills he had was meek.

02:23But everybody understood.
02:24And this kid, watching him run down the sideline with their back, I thought to myself,
02:29if you see one in a lifetime, you're lucky.

02:38I'm thinking, how lucky are we?
02:41And the kid is humble like Monte.
02:43The key to Super was that with all these gifts, grown-ass men are saying to another man that he's

02:54You had to deal with him.
02:55I had to deal with him.
02:56He was like our sparring partner.
02:59Yeah.
02:59And so you knew if you're training against this freak, the game's going to be easy.
03:05He made the game seem easy because he was so athletic and strong and fast.
03:11And again, weight room guy, everything about it.
03:13So it was emotional in the response of the 12th man that was there.

03:22But that crew, that burgundy and gold, that power in numbers was evident.

03:29It was just perfect because it was a Seattle-type atmosphere.

03:33But the thunder came from the boys in Burgundy.
03:36You know, the resolve is what I keep going back to where no matter what happened in that game,
03:41they answered and responded.
03:44And that is not something we've seen them do, especially last year and even in the game against Dallas.
03:51You know personally how hard it is to win in Philadelphia as a visiting team.
03:58By the way, all those things we went through going against Andy and those people,
04:01it reminded me of getting a win in Philly.
04:05Getting a win in Philly, getting a win in New York, getting a win in Dallas,
04:09they're all different.
04:11But you know that that was a stamp of approval.
04:16And if there was any doubt, that doubt should be removed now that this group can control its own destiny.
04:23I wasn't certain they could.
04:25But I'm convinced now they can because the field general is unflappable.
04:31And our running game will get better.
04:35Nick will be – but that's why I gave Nick the game ball because you know what it's like, Brian.
04:40You're going up against somebody that everybody said can't be beaten.

04:43And yeah, you and London, as miserable as sometimes that trip can be, it's a reflection.
04:50And they should really get it in their minds now what they're capable of and then go out.

04:58But we need to prove now that this is something that they can repeat and do it over and over

05:12DOC, I'm curious, man, because I was encouraged by the vibe in the locker room where to a man the
05:19players were like,
05:20listen, it's just one game.
05:21We got a lot of season left.
05:22But I do believe they altered the course of this year.
05:26If you're going to London at 0-3, it just feels like adversity.
05:30You got to do what a lot of people don't think is possible.
05:33I think they convinced themselves what they're capable of doing.
05:38They just beat the champs.
05:40And that's why I'm thinking, because the champs were putting in a guy back in at quarterback.
05:44That was our advantage to me.
05:46As good as he is, he still had to shake off a little rust.
05:51And they broke up their momentum.
05:52So we had an opportunity to do it.
05:54And then Bill didn't turn up.
05:56Bill was so vital.
05:58Everybody was vital.
06:00They stepped up in these roles.
06:02But if you go back and watch the O-line and watch what they did, the battles they fought,
06:08technique-wise, nobody's going to the Pro Bowl based on technique.
06:12But based on results, they can become a championship type of team.
06:17That's what it proved to me.
06:19They didn't have to have the greatest player in the world on their team.
06:22As a unit, they're hard to beat.
06:25Yeah, I talked to big Ray Brown after the game.
06:27And Ray was giving Coleman hella praise, man.

09:28And that old line, and you're right, fist fighting, hand fighting, Coleman, those guys,
09:33man, they are worth the price of admission, realizing what's inside of them.
09:40And you didn't hear no catchphrase slogans, no nothing.
09:43They just went out and balled out.
09:46And I was so, I was almost a vegetable after seeing the hit and Medrano, when I saw the
09:57hit and his head was down and it went right in the hardest part of the pelvis that there's
10:04no give.
10:06And I was like, oh no, because he came, he was playing.

10:12He was playing.
10:13So you got to give staff shout out for people because I've questioned the people that they
10:18brought in until I get to see them do something or they're doing something.
10:23They're, they're, they're giving you a return on the investment.
10:27So I just felt like we've got a guy you can win with right now.
10:32And it's important to understand that you're there, you're in London, you know, the atmosphere,
10:36everything's changes, your body got to get oriented.
10:38But once that ball is snapped, if we continue to play with that kind of confidence and effort,
10:45we can only get better.

15:48And right now, if you look at the last dozen games, we don't look good.
