00:01We're in a business where we can't say I'm speechless.
00:06But if there were ever a time I would say it,
00:10I can't believe what my eyes just witnessed.
00:14We wasted efforts by guys like Burks.
00:19The way he finished that run out, I'm thinking it's a manhood issue.
00:23Our guys are feeling it.
00:25All we got to do now is get – that doesn't mean you make the kick.
00:28But at least you put yourself in a position to win a game
00:32that I thought that they had earned the right to do.
00:34But the score doesn't lie.
00:37And what it is, what it is, the defense forced turnovers.
00:40We did, got the ball back.
00:42I got to go to you, Hokie.
00:44I got to say, dude, I cannot believe what I just witnessed.
00:48It's all the faithful at the stadium.
00:52They announced that people were leaving before the game was over with.
00:55They thought it was over.
00:56It just compounds this.
00:59My goodness.
01:00I cannot believe this.
01:02That type of effort and no victory.
01:05No victory within the division right here.
01:09Welcome to the Burgundy and Gold Post Game Show.
01:13DOC and Wesley here with you.
01:16Say something, Wes.
01:17Say anything.
01:19It's tough to say anything.
01:20You have a quarterback who comes back from injury, has 199 yards in the air.
01:25He runs for 100 yards.
01:27You have two receivers who have over 60 yards plus.
01:31You get a fumble from Scadaboo.
01:34It looked like you were about to lose the game on a field goal.
01:38The Giants kicker has missed a couple of field goals,
01:41so you're not assuming he's going to miss another one.
01:43But you get the fumble.
01:44You have all day.
01:46What a great play by Jaden to roll out, throw to Terry,
01:49getting themselves in the position.
01:51I'm not sure what was going on.
01:54There was 40 seconds remaining.
01:56They said there's no timeouts.
01:58You're thinking, okay, you're going to stop the clock somehow,
02:01throw it out of bounds.
02:02And Jaden Daniel started running around,
02:04so I'm not sure who to point fingers at.
02:08But right now I'm going to assume that's coaching right there.
02:11I'd give anything right now to see the face of Denton Day
02:14and Linnell Willingham.
02:17I would just give anything to see their faces
02:21and to hear what was on their mind.
02:24And I can't wait to hear from all of you.
02:27You've got to be in shock.
02:28I'm in shock.
02:29301-230-0980.
02:31This is the Burgundy and Gold postgame show.
02:35DOC and Wesley here with you.
02:37And I was just about to say, man, another victory.
02:41Trying to chalk up these victories.
02:44And now in the morning when the junkies open,
02:48I mean, what do you say?
02:53I don't know if I've ever seen that.
02:56I can't wait to hear what they're going to say.
02:59It might as well be a misery Monday.
03:02Because I feel like we lost.
03:05You didn't win.
03:06You did not win that game.
03:08Yeah, this feels like a defeat.
03:09And I'm going, I feel like, again, Lombardi on the Green Bay sidelines going,
03:14what the hell is going on out there?
03:17Somebody's got to be held responsible for everything.
03:20This is not a charity.
03:23This is not intramurals.
03:25This is pro ball.
03:29We're watching the best in the world orchestrate something that's not easy.
03:35Don't get me wrong.
03:36It's not easy.
03:37But that's why they're pros.
03:40I'm watching this thing going, are you kidding me?
03:47Man, five is special.
03:48I'll tell you what.
03:49He is worth the price of admission.
03:54I just...
03:57And J.P. Finley, don't you run.
04:02Don't you run and don't you hide.
04:05Because that's going to be the reaction.
04:08I've been in the locker rooms that have been stunned, that have been devastated.
04:12You work all week on this.
04:16It's what you do.
04:17It's not easy.
04:20The Giants on the road team come out.
04:24And again, they're playing with their backup quarterback.
04:28But Winston, I mean, this dude is a...
04:30I mean, you know, his pedigree speaks for itself.
04:33But it was a game that I did not expect to lose to him.
04:36I thought he would give it to us.
04:38And we had to...
04:39He didn't give it to us.
04:40We have to go take it.
04:41I'm not even going to mention the Zebras.
04:43This happens so consistently.
04:45That's why we got to beat the tar out of people.
04:48We got to be up by 21 points at all times so that these stripers can't take something away from
04:56you.
04:57And it's just absolutely amazing how the tide seems to turn, even where it's the home team.
05:04I know you play in New York, and they run the league office.
05:07I get all that.
05:09But my goodness.
05:11Some of these things, I go, am I just upset because the team that I'm pulling for wanted to see
05:19it, see them win?
05:23And now I'm going to have to hear from...
05:25Even Big Tony makes sense tonight.
05:28Because I'm sure he'll have something to say about it.
05:32Man, I am...
05:37And Lou McCoy on X said, it doesn't look like anybody want to win.
05:43Lou, you're right, man.
05:44You just nailed it.
05:46Somebody bring some humor to this thing, man.
05:48This is...
05:49But they say the longer you're around this, the more often you'll have things happen that you just can't believe.
05:57You'll make you scratch your ball.
05:58You're hit bloody.
05:59I mean, imagine having 40 seconds left in the game, and you're in field goal range, and you don't even
06:05get a kickoff.
06:07You don't even have a field goal attempt.
06:10I don't know what...
06:11Well, I can't wait to hear Coach Negative.
06:13He's out there.
06:14It's 301-230-0980, Coach.
06:19And there's going to be a lot...
06:20I mean, this is going to be the shot that is heard around the DMV.
06:26This is having victory.
06:28And we're talking about, hey, the Giants earned a spot, their number, their head of the division, and then everybody
06:33lost.
06:35They're setting you up for this thing.
06:36All you have to do is take it, and we give it away.
06:41Anyway, no lack of effort.
06:44My goodness.
06:45It's competitive as all get out.
06:48Guys worked their butts off going for it.
06:54One thing I love, what I saw out of New York, and I thought we'd even do more, but the
06:59all-out, the zero blitz, boy, it's a monster.
07:03It just was overwhelming at times.
07:07They didn't have an answer for five.
07:09I don't know if anybody...
07:10I honestly don't believe we're out of anything, as long as this kid is on the field.
07:16So, he is spectacular.
07:18I'll tell you what, man.
07:20He is...
07:21There's no answer for this guy.
07:24All we got to do is put him in position and not F it up.
07:30Oh, man.
07:32301-230-0980 is the number.
07:39Oh, my goodness.
07:42This is supposed to be fun.
07:45That's why we signed up for this.
07:49I just...
07:50And all of you that on X tonight, you were absolutely phenomenal.
07:56I mean, I love the interaction.
07:58Love the direct dialogue.
08:00It's crazy how good a man that is close to 100 years old.
08:07But really, from a social media standpoint,
08:10it is really fun to have the exchange.
08:15And you can join us here.
08:18We are doing our thing, as always, on YouTube.
08:23And you can join Burgundy and Gold Post Game Show.
08:27And please subscribe.
08:29Tell us that you might not be in a good mood today,
08:32but it is something that we have going.
08:35It is 4.56 here.
08:38Stunned, but not out of it.
08:40We're going to take a quick break.
08:41We'll come back and we'll light the lamp.
08:43Burgundy and Gold Post Game Show.
08:45I can't believe what my eyes witnessed.
08:47And we'll take a quick break.
08:47.
08:47.

08:48.
