01:20i believe the price is a 2027 fifth round pick so for a dart throw for someone who john harbaugh

01:31giants and look jackson dart is going to be the starter when he's healthy but he hasn't been able
01:35to stay healthy so bringing in some young competition long term for dart i like this move for the giants
01:40it's not too expensive and it's not one where you're saying oh this is going to create a legitimate
01:44competition with dart it's more of a hey we have this other young option in case dart really can't
01:50stay healthy moving forward would you also add jacob that it fits the skill set of what dart is so
01:58that if you're building a football team and you're building an rpo or a dual threat guy if jackson dart
02:05does go down it's an easy transition because you're not talking about a drop back guy you know you and

03:00able to lean on cam scadaboo a lot so long as scadaboo stays healthy so i think that's a really
03:05really good fit for him and to your point on mac jones i think the giants probably would
03:09have been interested in trying to get him i think the 49ers given their status as potential
03:14you know super bowl contenders were probably looking at their situation and saying we don't
03:18really want to give up our top tier backup quarterback unless we're getting an absolute
03:23haul in return so i think this makes a whole lot more sense for the giants to take a cheaper

03:29of quarterback that also has some upside but jones certainly would have been a decent get it just
03:34would have cost a lot more
