00:08issue of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
00:10Ahead of the meeting, the DMK has once again decided to skip a meeting that is being held under the
00:17Congress's leadership.
00:18At the meeting, the opposition is expected to discuss their action plan on the ongoing controversial SIR exercise and a
00:25likely impeachment motion that they wish to move against C.C. Gyanesh Kumar.
00:30So a mass movement is being talked about and planned by the opposition.
00:36But no DMK, Samajwadi Party also will not be sending Akhilesh Yadav.
00:41Instead, his representatives will attend.

01:32And there is a lot of manoeuvring that's happening.
01:35Akhilesh has already mentioned it to the top brass.
01:37And that's the reason he's sending Ram Gopal Yadav.
01:41And there have been several times when representatives have been thanked.
01:44Him and Surin to Uddhav Thakre have joined the Zoom meetings before if they've not attended it in person.
01:53So I think that this is a start of a rallying point as far as, you know, realigning and uniting

02:02Consider this that the TMC is joining the bandwagon.
02:06The TMC is acting as, in fact, a catalyst.
02:09But I'm told that DD calling up all the leaders by force, just like Niti Shumar did once before he
02:16walked out of the India Alliance.
02:18So I think this is a long race for them.
02:21And not much can be read in a day.
02:23But importantly is that will they stick to also Congress's demand of a resignation of the Prime Minister and the
02:31Home Minister?
02:32And will it be about the impeachment?
02:34Or will it be to make force the ECC to resign?
02:39Is what has Priyanka Gandhi underlined.

03:53But they went a step further, with Rahul Gandhi claiming once again that Gyanesh Kumar was acting at the behest
04:00of Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
04:03And they too should resign.
04:06Now, the BJP has hit back, accusing the Congress of undermining constitutional institutions.
04:12With every passing day, the divide is growing over the Election Commission.

04:37The political temperature over the Election Commission is rising.
04:42After revelations that two Election Commissioners raised 14 objections over matters related to SIR,
04:49the Congress, which has already taken voter deletions to the streets, now wants to take the fight further.
04:59The CWC met on Tuesday and passed a resolution, saying vote chori is organized by CEC Gyanesh Kumar on behalf
05:07of Prime Minister and Home Minister.
05:09And nothing short of their resignation will ensure the safety of the Constitution.
05:13The party sought immediate resignation of CEC Gyanesh Kumar, immediate suspension of SIR and immediate restoration of 13.3 crore
05:23voters deleted from electoral rolls.
05:27Sources tell India today that Rahul Gandhi told the CWC that 2024 elections were fixed.
05:33The Prime Minister is shaken after protests.
05:36And the Congress will work with allies in its fight over SIR.
05:40Whenever the dictators lose the confidence of the people, common voters, they will find out extraordinary tools to continue in

05:57This exercise, entire SIR exercise, and their thought done by Gyanesh Kumar cannot happen without the concurrence of Prime Minister

06:34But the CWC meet is only the first act.
06:37On Wednesday, India bloc parties are set to meet to work out a joint strategy on the Election Commission and
06:45SIR Rao.
06:46Yet, even before that meeting, there are signs of disorder within the opposition camp.
06:52SP Chief Akilesh Yadav is skipping the meet, citing prior political engagements, while senior SP leaders are expected to attend
07:00in his place.
07:02Shif Sina, UBT and MNS will attend the meet virtually as they are holding their own demonstrations in Mumbai this
07:09week.
07:30The DMK has already distanced itself from the India bloc after Congress's post-poll alignment with Vijay's TVK in Tamil
07:38Nadu.
07:39So, as Congress escalates its fight against the Election Commission, the bigger test may be whether the opposition can turn
07:47that anger into a united front.
07:49The CWC has drawn the battle lines.
