00:18Friggy and Ozzy's ultimate pet routine when camping starts with a hike that ends with
00:23their favorite surprise, swimming in the creek.
00:26My boyfriend and I love camping and it's become something that has brought us so much
00:31closer.
00:31But this was actually Ozzy and Briggy's first overnight camping trip with us, so our routine
00:36needed a few adjustments.
00:38If our lives didn't already revolve around our dogs, now our camping trips do too.
00:43I found a campground that didn't have too heavy of a wildlife presence, and also had
00:52to get creative with our gear.
00:59Camping with dogs meant bringing a few items we normally wouldn't, like tie outs, and obviously
01:08bigger chairs so that they were comfortable.
01:14And once they settled in, they were completely content just hanging out with us.

01:34Clearly the dogs had zero problem getting comfortable.

01:46Today we have a big adventure planned for them, so we planned a hike that literally has everything
01:51that they like.
01:52It's a moderate trail with a lot of sniffing, but it also has a fun little water surprise.

02:08Watching them explore, sniff everything, and eventually splash around was easily the highlight
02:13of the trip.
02:22And just when I thought things were going too smoothly, nature obviously took its course.
02:28So we were enjoying a very peaceful hike, the dogs were behaving pretty well, and Caleb
02:34said he saw a big snake.

02:40But we were brave, we persevered, and the dogs clearly had a fantastic time.
02:46This trip definitely involved more planning than when it's just my boyfriend and I, but
02:51giving our dogs these experiences has brought us closer as a family, and I think it's safe
02:55to say our camping trips are now a party of four.
