00:11:37Hathaway believed that the crows were sent by the devil to destroy the town's livelihood

00:11:43And Satan's spawn have come to destroy our harvest

00:11:59Sacrifices must be made to the Lord to protect us

00:13:22So the men of Liberty go to Hathaway's farm and then they drag him out of the shelter.

00:13:30And then they nail him up on a post in his own field.

00:13:38Just like he had done to his victims.

00:14:16Rumor has it, nothing grows on that spot where they buried Hathaway's body.
