00:41A trained lawyer, Al-Mansouri entered local governance early.
00:45She was the first female mayor of Marrakesh at the age of 33 in 2009.
00:51She lost the seat in 2015 but won it back just six years later.
00:55She was elected as a member of the House of Representatives over successive terms
00:59and in 2021 was appointed as Urban Planning Minister.
