SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS — La representante de la Comisión Nacional de los Derechos Humanos, Rebeca Henríquez, se presentó este miércoles ante el comando regional de la Policía Nacional acompañada del joven Wilson Rodríguez, con el propósito de exigir respuestas y aclarar la situación en torno a la retención del vehículo de este último.

Durante su llegada al recinto policial, Henríquez alzó su voz para denunciar presuntas anomalías en las investigaciones y el manejo de los casos. La activista criticó enérgicamente que las autoridades retengan automóviles de ciudadanos particulares mientras, a su entender, se desatiende la captura de los verdaderos infractores de la ley en esta ciudad.

“Este joven lo estamos buscando porque su vehículo estaba estacionado [...] No entendemos por qué no suben la ficha de los verdaderos delincuentes de San Francisco de Macorís”, manifestó Henríquez ante las cámaras mientras acompañaba al afectado.

Por su parte, el joven Wilson Rodríguez, explicó los detalles del incidente tras presentarse voluntariamente junto a la comitiva de derechos humanos. Rodríguez indicó que su automóvil, un vehículo marca Kia de color gris, llevaba aproximadamente 15 días retenido por las autoridades tras ser retirado con una grúa desde el sector Vista del Valle.

“Mi carro estaba parado en una casa, se lo llevaron y ahora querían que yo viniera para investigar [...] Todo fue un malentendido y vinimos a aclararlo”, expresó el joven, asegurando que no existen cargos en su contra y que solo busca recuperar su medio de transporte.

Con esta diligencia encabezada por la Comisión de Derechos Humanos, se espera que las autoridades policiales agilicen los trámites correspondientes para esclarecer el caso y devolver el vehículo a su propietario legal.
