00:32you on virtual reality we're obsessed with the two of you and we're obsessed that you're doing
00:35special forces this season thank you are you obsessed with the fact that you did special
00:39forces like it's a big deal and it's like it's a big challenge uh it was an incredible challenge
00:45I loved it it was an experience that I wouldn't trade for anything and I'm just so excited to
00:49watch you know we haven't gotten everybody always asked me did you guys watch the show
00:53beforehand and like we're watching it with you guys and it's fun and was it fun was it more of
00:58an instant yes or hey was it an instant yes to do the show it was an instant yes I
01:04didn't think I
01:04was gonna get the call but once I did I couldn't say no and did it feel almost better that

01:10were doing it together or is that more like oh it helped for sure I mean there were elements of

01:15that I was a little bit like you know some some fear in terms of you know whether or not
01:20I had to
01:20like take care of her like have an extra another person etc etc um but the reality is that I
01:26wouldn't
01:27trade the experience for the world to do this as a father-daughter team and a duo oh my god
01:31incredible because we remember last season when Teresa and Gia did it together from Jersey Housewives
01:35Teresa actually had to be like I can't watch Gia do some of the challenges so she left from that
01:41so I was
01:41wondering if that was going to be a challenge for you it's like because special forces it's a it's a
01:45whole new world of things that you're like you would never picture yourself doing let alone your
01:50daughter or your father doing so how was kind of watching one another go in those situations
01:55for me it was um it was it was it was it was awesome like I didn't stress about it

02:01until this one challenge that we had that I really thought she was like gonna die like I didn't think
02:08she was coming back from it I was so scared I was I was sitting there I was on a
02:12boat and all I was
02:13thinking to myself was like oh my god Kyle's gonna kill me um how am I gonna call up my
02:19entire family
02:19and telling them I'm coming home without Alexia Alexia how did you feel about the challenge were
02:25you also scared you know I was pretty petrified leading up to it but there was it was that challenge
02:33in particular that something clicked in me and I kind of felt like I was really loving it and it
02:39was this overwhelming sense of accomplishment that I did it and I you know I I was crying and I
02:47was
02:47smiling it's so confusing and so many emotions hitting you at once like I remember looking at him
02:52after I'm like sobbing I'm like I loved it she's like this is the time I like it yeah when

03:01catch up with Kyle Kyle she said that she was like actually very upset when she found out that you
03:05roped Alexia into this at what point did she become cool with it though like how did you sort of
03:09like
03:10ease her nerves around when you got on the flight and left yeah exactly I don't know if she was
03:14ever I
03:14don't think she was cool with it until we got back okay safely she was in a survival mode of
03:22herself of her own yeah you know she was just like to stay by day she said that she became
03:28like
03:29like so extra religious she's like I prayed every single day like she was yeah and I'd love to you're
03:35in all of her outfits like clothing today I've been in my mom's clothes head to toe since yesterday
03:47like we're saying you guys both look amazing right now but you really can't leave you guys look great
03:52on the show too but you can't bring any of the fun stuff on the show like the glam everything

03:57that I was cuz like and Beverly Hills y'all have life right how was leaving the Beverly Hills energy
04:02to go on to special forces it was humbling yeah it's very humbling but that's what we were looking for
04:08you know that's something that him and I like and that's part of what the appeal was for me was
04:13putting I've been very comfortable and sheltered my entire life I've never had to be truly challenged
04:20like that so that was part of the whole entire appeal was seeing who I am stripped of everything
04:26stripped of the luxuries and facing intense fear so yeah what about you I loved it I loved the
04:35experience I you know the fact that we were completely cut off from civilization like no
04:40phones no nothing like that to me was I love that we didn't have anything you know I mean you
04:46just go
04:46down you then you realize you can survive with literally just the basics I mean like two pairs
04:50of underwear two socks you know it's not ideal the entire time your clothes are wet your underwear is
04:59wet your socks are wet you got one bar of soap for your hair face body and like you're disgusting
05:05so
05:06yeah what's also really cool about special forces is you get to meet all these new people that you
05:10probably wouldn't have interacted with otherwise like I know you became very close with Colin Gosselin
05:15which is so like that's so cool to me like explain to me like how you guys connected and
05:19bonded during this time well you know Colin I feel like I just he's so he opened up a lot
05:26on the show
05:27and it was it created a space where we all felt like we could share and take care of each
05:34other and
05:35his story in particular I feel like we all you know there's so many people in the room who were
05:40all
05:40either a son or daughter of somebody and you know his story hit a lot of hearts it hit home
05:46for
05:46everyone and you know it just kind of felt like protective of him I know we're similar close enough
05:51in age but that was also the other thing is we were closer in age and him Max and I
05:56definitely felt
05:57like you know a little bit of a trio but everyone we were so close with everyone and I mean
06:03the whole
06:03entire group was such a team so supportive I've never had a sense of camaraderie like this in my life
06:10right and I'm just so grateful to have the connections that I've made with each person
06:16I mean everyone had something different to bring to the table did you guys watch John and Kate plus
06:19eight like were you familiar with the show before you was not I I mean who doesn't know what John
06:24yeah at least like the name yeah I never saw the show yeah well and I feel also what's and
06:30I mean
06:30I know he has his memoir coming out which is going to be so incredible and powerful and I'm sure
06:35also
06:35you must look how like sometimes families in the public eye can really lose themselves it seems
06:41and not have each other's back but what we always love of watching your guys family on you know
06:45buying Beverly Hills Real House of Beverly Hills everything it's a you guys are such a strong
06:50family unit and that is like you can feel it from the screen and I feel like that is just
06:54really
06:55come I just want to commend you guys for being able to do that in the public eye and also
06:57just in
06:57general thank you that was hard yeah it's true my our family is um has always given me a sense
07:04of
07:04normalcy you know people always ask like what what it must feel so different growing up in the
07:08spotlight blah blah blah like you know what it doesn't really feel that different because I've had my
07:13family to ground me the entire time and it just I've always felt like just normal and loved and our
07:20support system our family is I might drop there I've my job accomplished
07:26I don't want to brag what our family is about no it seems so fun
07:31you made a cameo on Earl Meets World which loved seeing that and I feel like you imparted a lot

07:36really great advice for the Earl family you actually mentioned on the show like reality TV in a way brought
07:41you guys closer together as a family which like isn't like everyone's experience like why do you
07:47think it what like how did it play out that way did you were forced to have conversations you
07:51normally wouldn't have exactly yeah exactly do you want to expand them out yeah I don't know
07:57if I have I would expand them out I feel like my experience is maybe a little different well I

08:00obviously from both perspectives but it just you know I mean for us it just made us close we had
08:05conversations like we've always been you know a tight family um we've always cared and and it's just
08:12it just re I mean I feel like we were just real like we're like it's always just been real

08:17didn't pretend to do you know I would watch a lot of reality stars and a lot of reality people
08:22I've
08:22been my god I I want to say I'd probably been on more reality shows than anybody on the planet
08:28whether it's a guest like a just a cameo guest or this I've literally since been on everything
08:34um but I've watched a lot of these people and and I feel like as soon as the camera turns
08:39off like
08:39they're different than when the camera's on and I feel like from our perspective we're very we're the
08:43same like we have zero changes right I love that and I really do feel like special forces has and
08:48I think it's because we were talking before we started recording that not only obviously the
08:52physical challenges take up a lot of the conversation because the shock but it's just like a lot but the
08:58like interrogations and the interviews and all of those deep talks that it has I feel really is what
09:04makes the lasting impression on the contestants like I remember we talked with Teresa last season and
09:10it was in those moments that she it started planting the seeds of her and the Gorgas getting
09:14back together and everything I'm kind of wondering for either of you what did you take away from those
09:19personal conversation moments oh my gosh I you know this experience is as real first of all whether you lean
09:28in
09:28or not it is so real because like I said you're stripped of everything but if you really lean in
09:34and
09:34open up they push you to get deep and they you know they tell you to look your anger in
09:38the face and
09:38release all these things and they have these conversations with you and I can tell you I definitely
09:45opened up about certain things I never thought I was going to but I really took this experience kind of
09:53going off of what he said with being on camera like this wasn't about being on a show for me
09:57this was
09:57about really like this therapeutic experience of what my life is and who I am discovering myself and you know
10:04when
10:04you're doing these things and you're releasing this you know there's certain times they tell you to
10:08release your anger and release your emotions you tap into that and I was just very brutally honest with
10:15with you know the directing staff and they shared shared a lot you guys will see a little more
10:21do you guys know what each other shared about of course okay yeah of course and I think you just
10:27you know it's a situation you're put into such an uncomfortable situation that you as she says you
10:35get stripped of everything and you're you're you're in the out you're you're outdoors you're physically
10:40tired you're physically challenged you're mentally tired you're mentally challenged um everything is so
10:46real and um and all of that just comes into one and you start learning things about yourself you start
10:52learning your weaknesses your strengths you start learning you know everything your how hard how your
10:58mentality what you can survive in um and then from our perspective as a father daughter like you know to
11:04be
11:04able to to to be there with each other and watch that in in in an environment like I said
11:10no phones you
11:11know no no zero luxuries right what you know um and and it's just incredible it's a really incredible
11:18experience which of your daughters do you think would be the next best option after alexia well
11:22there's only one that would do okay but I mean it's porsche i would be good i'm obsessed with that
11:30yeah you don't think sophia or pharaoh okay i think i think i don't want to sell my sisters short

11:42right you never know they might surprise you yeah and by the way congratulations to farah and
11:48and zach thank you so much what a surprise what did we miss as viewers watching buying beverly hills
11:54because i'm obsessed with it i actually i was always such a zach fan he's great i love zach so

11:59yeah yeah um they were good at hiding that weren't they yeah well you know things that sounds like
12:06there was something to hide you know it just it just it just happened it happened naturally it
12:10happened beautifully love zach so much and now we have a baby boy on the way so i'm so excited

12:19essentially all of your life on camera i'm sure there's for all of you there's parts you're like
12:24i kind of want to just keep that for me until it's ready to go out in the world type

12:44humbling experience to do special forces i always am so curious what was the first lavish thing you
12:48did when you guys went back to beverly hills oh that's a good question oh i mean to me like

12:54such simple things like sleeping with air conditioning having ice water like i mean a nice
13:01shower with proper soap and shampoo like you literally just it's the basics that all of a
13:07sudden become huge lavish luxuries and you don't start thinking about like these bigger luxuries these
13:13amazing things it's literally just the most basic thing were you like running to air one like that's
13:18what i would do i was like all i wanted honestly while i was there all i wanted was to
13:23fly to
13:24new york and get a foot massage and i finally did my 90 minute foot massage last night thank you
13:29very much that was like my treat for myself oh my god and the fact that you got to do
13:33get a foot
13:33massage and get new chanel boots on the same day i know i know just i'm blessed was it a
13:39treat to
13:39reunite with brandy glanville after so many years like when you saw her there were you surprised
13:43definitely surprised i do wish she was around for a little longer yeah it would have been nice to
13:48have it would have been interesting it would have been interesting it would have been interesting
13:52to see her and talk to her in a completely different environment share a room with her share a shower
13:55with her we were all like in the shower we never got that far yeah exactly i recently chatted with
14:02her and she was saying she was very touched by kyle donating to her go fund me yeah for all
14:07her
14:07medical bills which i think is like really really sweet what do you guys make of all the housewives
14:11kind of like rallying around her and and trying to help right now because she's been going through a lot
14:15yeah look we're we you're all a club you all get to know each other you all experience a lot
14:21of
14:21different things good and bad and out of that you end up you know with pretty intense friendships and
14:26the reality is that you know sometimes people need help and we need to be there to help them you
14:31know
14:31and it's definitely a sisterhood you gotta like step up and speaking of sisterhood you guys probably
14:35won't want to spill too much but um chanel ayam we caught up with and from housewives of dubai and
14:41she
14:41loves to collect tea and then just spill it and she feels like kyle and dorit are friends again
14:48are we happy this is a great development yes i'm so happy it's been great dorit i love dorit so

14:55know i it's always sad when the girls are are fighting you never we never like fighting i love
15:00that they're getting along that makes me happy because they're just like glamorous and fun together
15:03and i mean like they were compelling tv watching them fight but i was like i want them to make

15:08i need them to kiss and make up yes i love that it's all the circle of life yes exactly

15:13baseline thoughts on tracy and leah remini joining beverly hills housewives are we into it
15:18um i think it's great i think yeah i think they're gonna be fantastic i mean i haven't seen them

16:33in the moment especially through camera but my mom knew vicky's intention and did not take it that
16:40way by any means she actually felt supported by vicky so that's you know from the lady herself
16:45okay we love that what's good and also like that's good vicky's a clumsy girl yeah
16:50and i didn't even know that too and um because you know you guys are very busy we don't have

16:55much time and you can bring a product usually uh when you go into special forces right you can
16:59bring a little like thing to remind you of home what did each of you bring and for either of

17:46like super intense mosquito repellent and i was the only one when you watch that didn't have like
17:51my entire face and body uh mosquitoed out you didn't share it i asked everybody to share it but
17:58and i was sharing it remember i was sharing with everybody but everybody's like no i got mine and
18:03like the run and like huh oh i would have wasn't to maria i would have been like spray me

18:07want to see no mosquito on me i don't really understand i trusted my own mosquito repellent
18:12and it was good i brought it is there anything you wish you had brought though um i mean i

18:18you know again you just want to be able to wash yourself properly yeah okay exactly you got that one
