00:00What if the treatment you seek could become an act of worship, but only if you keep it free from
00:04shirk?
00:05In the time of ignorance, people used to perform rukya, reciting words for healing.
00:10One day, the companions asked the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, about it.
00:15They asked, O Messenger of Allah, what do you think about the rukya we use to perform?
00:19The Prophet, peace be upon him, replied, present your rukya to me.
00:22Then he taught them a powerful principle.
00:24There is nothing wrong with rukya, as long as it contains no shirk.
00:28Think about that.
00:28Islam does not reject every form of treatment, but it teaches us to keep our hearts connected to Allah alone.
00:34Healing comes by the permission of Allah, not through hidden powers, objects, or anyone besides him.
00:40So whenever we seek healing, let our words, our hearts, and our trust remain free from shirk.
00:45May Allah protect our faith, accept our lawful efforts for healing, and keep our hearts firmly connected to him.
