Prosecution removes Trillanes from witness list in VP Sara trial

'WE WILL NOT PRESENT FORMER SENATOR TRILLANES'

The House prosecution panel will no longer present former senator Antonio “Sonny” Trillanes IV as a witness in the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte, said on Thursday, Oct. 1.

Trillanes had been scheduled to testify for the prosecution under Article II of the impeachment complaint, which concerns allegations of unexplained wealth against Duterte.
