00:00India's women have made the nation proud, winning gold in the women's 4x400m relay at the 2026 Asian Games.
00:08Kiran Pahal, Emar Poovamma, Prachi Chaudhary and Vitya Ramraj.
00:13Four women, one team, one golden moment for India.
00:17For a long, long time, there was no female participation in sports.
00:22As if women don't want to play, as if they won't like to play soccer,
00:25they won't like to run or play tennis or badminton or wrestling or swimming or whatever.
00:30Or trekking or mountaineering.
00:32And no healthy woman is going to live only for the sake of breeding babies.
00:36But that's how our culture looks at women.
00:39Because they are biologically different, so the direction of their ambitions and this are a little different.
00:44But to turn a woman into a homemaker and to ensure that her first priorities are the baby and the
00:51related stuff
00:52is to hack down a great part of her possibility.
00:56Ten things are possible to her, eight of them are hacked down.
00:59And the remaining two, they are greatly magnified.
01:02As if she is made for only those two tasks.
