00:22Have you ever stood in the loudest moment of your life
00:25and heard only one person breathing?
00:31That year I finally learned how to win, and that winning something doesn't mean you
00:39get to keep it.
00:40My name is Julian.
00:42This is the story before I made the National Development Camp, how I learned hockey, how
00:48I learned to win, and how I almost lost the one person who saw through me from the start.
01:16Back then, he was the whole ring to me.
01:20Still up?
01:21Let me guess, Dorian highlights again?
01:26Do you love it for you, Jules?
01:28Not because of him?
01:30Yeah, of course I do.
01:38Of course I do.
02:04You play?
02:07A little.
02:21Kid skates like Dorian taught him.
02:42Julian, you're with Everett.
02:45Pair drills start today.
02:49Guess we're partners.
02:51Keep up.
03:01Run it back.
03:31Use this.
03:32Works fast.
03:33My brother basically swore by it.
03:37Thanks.
03:49You two are opponents on the field
03:51and teacher and student off the field.
03:54What is your relationship exactly?
03:56No.
04:05I didn't know I wanted it this badly.
04:13We shall strike fast to break through
04:15and win by speed to your purity.
04:17No.
04:18I think a counterattack on fence is more prudent.
04:20You're too cautious.
04:21You're being too hasty.
04:25Everett's plan is more solid.
04:27Let's go with that.
04:43Your play might work.
04:44We can try it.
04:46Since when do you do pep talks?
04:50I don't...
04:51I don't...
04:53I don't...
05:05You actually came.
05:06Wore this for my first season.
05:08It's yours now.
05:16I don't...
05:44How did you know I was here?
05:46Lucky guess.
05:52Are you passing or trying to take my hand off?
05:55That's off.
06:04Are you feeling unwell?
06:07No.
06:08No.
06:24When he's not here, I am.
06:31You went again?
06:33Yeah.
06:34He scored a really nice breakaway today.
06:35I know it's his final season this year.
06:40The draw results are coming out soon.
06:43If we end up against him...
06:44If we play against him, I won't go easy on him.
06:46You won't?
06:47No.
06:50Good then.
06:54Good then.
06:56Quarterfinals.
06:57We get North Shore.
07:06Nervous?
07:07No.
07:09You bite your nails whenever you get nervous.
07:12It's North Shore.
07:14It's Dorian.
07:15You've looked up at him long enough.
07:17The guy across to you now is me.
07:24See you on the field tomorrow.
07:25Don't go easy on me.
07:33You'd better not hold back.
07:35I don't want excuses after.
07:37I've got your Everett guy figured out.
07:41Your Everett?
07:43Your Everett.
07:44Your Everett.
07:57So this is what Julian used to watch.
08:24How's the kid feeling?
08:26Good enough to beat you.
08:31There he is.
08:44Don't let her decide you're a game.
08:50I don't let her decide you're a game.
09:24Let's make this real.
09:39using my own move against me
09:42guess you taught me too
