00:00I would say somewhere without a lot of sound because I think Loki would drive B-15 crazy.
00:07Well, it's lovely to see you.
00:08I'm always in awe when I watch these shows, the footage that they capture,
00:13and it's just mind-blowing where they go.
00:15But did you imagine that you would be, like, narrating a frog's love story and things?
00:21Like, it's beautiful storytelling.
00:24It really is.
00:25Honestly, the script was hilarious and moving and exciting.
00:30I felt like I was completely in it with these characters
00:34and that these beings were just so, I don't know, tangible.
00:39I felt like I could emote with them.
00:42I felt like I could empathize with them.
00:44And so I was like, I love this script.
00:47I love the way it's shot.
00:48I love the way that these beings are just, I don't know, humanized in a way.
00:55You were always, like, acting with them.
00:56A hundred percent.
00:57It felt like I was, first of all, I was narrating and watching it for the first time,
01:01and then I would end up, like, getting a bit carried away with the actual emotion.
01:06And so I'd have to go back and redo it.
01:08But the good thing is, being an actor, is that you can, you can, now I felt it.
01:13I can, now, like, put that into the narration.
01:18But I was genuinely terrified, excited, finding things hilarious, like the frog and his little...
01:26Did you make the puckering sound?
01:27Was that you making the puckering sound, or was that them?
01:29Was that, I couldn't tell, I couldn't tell.
01:32I must say the sound design is incredible.
01:35The composition and the sound design is incredible.
01:38I'm like, is that real?
01:39Is that actually what the camera caught?
01:41Or is this, you know, I don't know, actually.
01:43Okay.
01:43I didn't watch it.
01:44I was like, hold on.
01:44Was that how I made it sound like it could have been?
01:47It could have been.
01:48I'll admit, I can't think of it's episode three.
01:51I did fast forward through the spider bit, because I have a massive phobia.
01:56Oh.
01:57That I can't even watch them on screen.
01:58I was like, I don't care.
01:59I know your web is stronger than titanium, or whatever it is.
02:02But, like, that bit terrifying.
02:04Is there, are you like that with anything, or are you just absolutely fine?
02:06No, I mean, I think, like, my anxiety was up when it was like someone was,
02:12something was about to lose their life.
02:13Right.
02:14And it just, it was just, depending on the editing, whose side you were on.
02:18Are you on the hyena's side, because he's hungry?
02:20Or are you on the flamingo's side?
02:22But it depends on who's, like, the perspective of the writing.
02:26And I, I'm scared of spiders.
02:29I'm scared of snakes.
02:29But I can, I can see them on screen, and I can actually be in the same space as them,
02:34as long as I know that they're not coming towards me.
02:36But it's that thing of, like, I can't fall asleep knowing there's a spider,
02:40like, above my head or something.
02:41I can't do that.
02:42Okay.
02:42Good, you're normal.
02:43You're a normal human.
02:44I find it weird when people are going to do that.
02:46There was a spider on my bag on the tube the other day,
02:48and I had to ask someone.
02:49I was like, excuse me, are you okay with spiders?
02:51Can you help me?
02:52Oh, yeah, no.
02:53I would be offended by that.
02:55Like, get off my bag.
02:56I did not expect to see a tortoise eating a bird.
03:02Like, I have always thought they're little lettuce-eating gentle creatures.
03:08I know.
03:08What, in the same way that surprised me,
03:11what surprised you the most out of everything that you have seen?
03:14The chimpanzees using tools and eating, like, algae, like, so delicately.
03:20Like, it felt like, I don't know.
03:22I just, like, I don't know.
03:23Like, I'm like, these guys are just, like, I don't know.
03:26So graceful, actually.
03:30Do you know what I mean?
03:31It's so graceful.
03:33The tortoise definitely freaked me out with the birds.
03:37Absolutely.
03:37I'm not expecting that at all.
03:40I mean, so much of it was unexpected.
03:43That's why I think the series is so wonderful.
03:45You learn so much.
03:47I know.
03:47I don't understand how they capture some of the stuff that they do.
03:50I know.
03:50And the point of views that you get, like.
03:52Yeah.
03:53Absolutely incredible.
03:54Listen, we've had now Tom Hiddleston's National Geographic, Sean Pompey.
03:59We've got you, we're getting the whole, like, Loki family doing these Nat Geo shows.
04:04If we dropped Hunter B-15 and Loki on an expedition for a dock, where would you send them to
04:11explore?
04:11Oh, great question.
04:14Well, somewhere, I would say somewhere without a lot of sound, because I think Loki would drive B-15 crazy.
04:22So I'm thinking maybe out of space, the moon, where we can, where I can, like, turn off my comms.
04:31You know, that's what I'm thinking would be the best place.
04:34Okay.
04:35Nowhere on this planet.
04:36Nowhere on this planet.
04:38I just want to quickly touch on, before I go, now that we know we're getting another Black Panther, do
04:43we think, I mean, I'm so happy that he's Black Panther, like, I love David Jones so much, but do
04:49we think we could see B-15 making an appearance in, like, with, because you've said before you want to
04:54see her with Shuri.
04:55Oh, I mean, yeah.
04:57I would love that.
04:58I mean, it's so funny, because when I was auditioning for Loki, I didn't know what I was auditioning for,
05:03and I was secretly hoping it was for Black Panther.
05:07It was a nice surprise that it was Loki, but I was like, that would be the dream.
05:12Okay.
05:13I'm keeping everything cross that we see that, because, yeah, that, I mean, I think I spoke to you for
05:19that was the first time I spoke to you, was when that was coming in, and now your career's just
05:22taken off in the most amazing way, and look at all the stuff you're getting today.
05:26It must be amazing.
05:26It really is.
05:28It really is.
05:29It's been beyond my wildest dreams, especially this, like, last year, and being a part of this show, I would
05:38say this was a highlight of my year, doing, narrating Africa Earth's Wild Home, like, truly.
05:44And I did not imagine my career would take me down this route, either.
05:49I knew David Attenborough.
05:51I could never.
05:52I know.
05:53I know.
05:53But it's nice to join those ranks, right?
05:55It's nice to join that.
05:56Exactly.
05:57Thank you so much.
05:59And you too.
