00:01Hello and welcome. Welcome to M&PQ Content. Welcome to Rick and Aliases. I'm just sitting on my screen for
00:08you.
00:09Today I'll be showing you a HTML document. You might want to use it yourself over on your website to
00:15keep track of your countries, your items, your money.
00:21It's a bit like analytics but kind of slightly different. Anyway, I think you'll like it if you watch the
00:27content.
00:27It's to create the HTML document from nothing. Pretty easy and pretty quick.
00:32I'll be using Google. I'll be copying the code from Google and pasting it into the HTML document.
00:38Of course, I can write it myself but because I'm making a quick video, I want to show you quickly.
00:43Right click. You can go on your desktop or your highlights of work in my downloads. Right click, go here,
00:49make a new document.
00:51You want to call that whatever you want to call it. You can call that anything you want. To name
00:57it, just click it once, click it again.
01:00It should turn blue. And then just name it like that. That's what I want to call it. That's the
01:07simple name for it.
01:08Now, I want to turn it into a document. It's free of charge. Now, by standard default, if you look
01:14at my document, you can see that it's got PXT on the end of it.
01:19By standard default, I'll go to here. File. Go here. Change. Now, standard default, if you go to view, the
01:29hidden extension is turned off.
01:31So, this, this, this, this, and this is all turned off by standard default. It's turned off to stop you
01:39changing the documents. I will show you.
01:41If you turn it off, you'll see here. You'll notice I've still got a text document, but I can't see
01:49the end of it.
01:50So, I can't change it. So, this is what you do. You go here. Back into, back here. Options. Bring
01:59it over. Say OK.
02:02Unhoid it. And say OK. And say yeah. Leave the floor like that, so you can see it. OK. You
02:07can hoid it any time you want.
02:09Go to the end of the document. This is the easiest way to make a HTML document. Go here. And
02:16say.
02:19And say yeah. And say OK. You will turn to need the page. Now, if I right click on that,
02:26I'm going to Edit. And say Notepad.
02:30This is here. I'll open it. It should make sure it works. It works. This is the Explorer. OK.
02:36But there's nothing on it. It's empty. So, what you need is a skeleton for the heat of a monoclonum.
02:42So, what you do is you jump over to Google itself. And you can ask Google itself for a skeleton.
02:50If you want to create it, you can. So, the skeleton is pretty easy.
02:55I'll show you the skeleton. This is a basic skeleton. You don't get that. That's my edit bonus. I'm going
03:03to put that down there somewhere.
03:06So, the idea of this. What this is for? This is so I can write text on the document and
03:11you can't see it.
03:12The only part of that document that you're going to see is that part of text. I'll show you. I'll
03:18save it.
03:20If you want the code on this, just go to Google itself. Type in the HTML skeleton. You'll get the
03:29code on that.
03:30And when you open it, it will look something like that with the code in the corner.
03:35Yeah, that's not bad. I want to upgrade it in the good bit. Because I want to have a table
03:40of content. Right?
03:42Each way to do that is to bring your keyboard into the screen.
03:47Go on the title. Type the back arrow. Type the word center.
03:55And then go shift and forward arrow. Copy this. And paste it at the end.
04:03Right here. Type the forward slash. What actually is that? I'll tell you what it is.
04:11This is open. This is closed. This is open title. This is closed title.
04:19Okay, you have to have a beginning and an end. Go inside the gap.
04:25Back arrow. Back arrow. Back arrow. Back arrow.
04:32Okay, that's it. Just a very small word. Okay. It goes from zero to six. That's what they tell you.
04:39Go here. Paste it. Don't forget to go in the gap. Put the line on it.
04:45Now, my text will be a bigger size. It's going to be a header size. And the header is three.
04:52Okay. As I say, if you go lower down to one. And you can see the size of my text.
04:58Take a look. I'll open it to you.
05:01Now it's bigger look. But I don't want to call back.
05:05I want it. I want it to be called whatever the document is actually called.
05:11So, go back to my text. As I enter any text later on it. Open with. No bad.
05:16Once you're in here. This is the message you can see. Change the message. Click it. Save it. Open the
05:26document.
05:27And now you can see. That's what I'm actually called it. The latest activity by countries. That's what I want.
05:35That's what I want. Okay. Kind of great. Of course I can change the background as well.
05:40If I want to change the background as well. The background can be any colour that you prefer.
05:44So, to you. As I say, it's easy to change. All you have to do is add a little bit
05:49of code.
05:50Just here. To your body. And you can change the background. Just in case you actually want to do that.
05:55Now, what I want to do. I need a bulletin list. That's what I need. So, I think it. Okay.
06:07As I say, the page is a bit plainer than it. So, I need to find myself a bulletin list.
06:12So, I'm just looking at my content. So, if I go to Google and say HTML bulletin list. Okay. Here
06:22we do.
06:22Now, this here is a paragraph. Right. I'm going to come down here. Make a gap. Go one deeper paragraph.
06:32You don't matter where that is.
06:34Put it here. And paste the Google code. And press OK. And save it. Okay. This is how you write
06:41the bulletin list.
06:43What's the bulletin list. I'll show you. The bulletin list now looks like this look.
06:49It's your first item. Your second item. And your third item. So, it makes your page look a little bit
06:56more professional. Right? Don't you think so? Okay.
07:00As I said, if I want to change it, I can. I can go into my content. I'll just show
07:08you what I'm talking about in the background.
07:10If I go back into my content. I'm not going to leave this here. But I'll show you what you
07:14can do.
07:15Paste the Google. How to change the color of my background HTML. Okay. Here we go.
07:24Copy the code in here. Right? This is the code that you get directly out of Google. Right?
07:31Now, of course. When I tell you it's the code that you get out of Google. It is. Except I've
07:37changed the numbers. Okay?
07:39So, this will give me a background. It's a background in black. And the text should be white.
07:46So, I'll go here and save it. Over it now. Look at this. Of course. That's of course if you
07:55want to add it to your webpage.
07:56As in, it's still a bulletin list. Except it's just different. And if you notice, the words are now over
08:02here.
08:03Of course, that's what to me. As in, all I've got to do is just tweak this part. If I
08:06want to.
08:08I don't want to do that. So, let's make it back standard. Because what I do want to do, I'll
08:13save that.
08:14I'll go back into edit. And as you can see, this is my standard template. If you want to download
08:19the entire list, you can.
08:20I'll show you the list in a moment. Okay. I'm just showing you how to change the background.
08:25Just in case you might be interested in that. Okay. Here's my custom list. For the list that's in here.
08:32So, this is what you get from Google. Right. Don't forget, they're only going to give you a standard template
08:38to start you off with.
08:39Which will give you a standard list. So, if you do recipes, anything else, yeah, it's great for that.
08:44If you do 2D objects, 3D objects, yeah, it's great for that. So, go here. And I'm going to add
08:49all the countries that I know actually visit my website.
08:55And paste them in there. What? Yeah. Every country that's here, believe it or not, actually visit my website.
09:04Yes, they've been there 20 times, 30 times, one time, and so forth.
09:10Every country here has been to my website at least once. And the maximum amount of times the country has
09:17come to my website is 30 times.
09:19But I think it hasn't. Did it make any money? Yeah. Not really. Yeah. But I did. I'll show you.
09:26Let's go here.
09:27Okay. Now, it does not look a little bit better than the very short version.
09:34Because we can blend that with the Google version. We get free templates. Yeah. The templates are good.
09:42But I want the countries to go with the template. So, this is an A1 bubble box Google template.
09:50And it's all made inside of Notepad. Yes, this is a standard text document.
09:59Okay. But, of course, it works great. Now, all I have to do, this is all I have to do,
10:04and all you've got to do.
10:06If you want my template, you can go to my website, click on it, download my template.
10:14This is my standard template. You don't have to do nothing here. It's all done.
10:18You can drag it and drop it straight into your site. And, of course, if you just go to the
10:21page, you'll look exactly like that.
10:23If you want to change because of my twist better shape it. You can go right click on it. Go
10:29here. Edit.
10:31Now, of course, you can drag the whole page into your website. Or, you can go here.
10:37And you can select the entire template, if you want to. And you can paste that directly into your website.
10:44And, of course, your website will now look like this. The reason why I'm showing you that is because there's
10:51no extra code in there.
10:53There's no extra data. It's only the bare amount of data that you need to see that the program needs
11:02to run in order to show me a very simple list.
11:08Now, of course, on here. Of course, I can add extra detail to this. So, we can have visits. Right.
11:20We can have the visits. And we can go over here. We can see how many visits we've had.
11:27Now, Australia has visited my website four times. So, I can just close this and I can see.
11:34Of course, on the website, you can basically click on it. Now, for opening, you'll notice that out of all
11:43the companies,
11:44all the countries, I apologise, out of all the countries, yeah, Australia is the one who's been to my website
11:53the most.
11:54Right? No. Actually, wrong. There had been to my website. Well, gee, this is the honest truth.
12:03OK. If you come down here. I want to put a space in there. And I want to put a
12:08space in there.
12:10This is United States. I want to copy this. And I want to put it down here. Right? Depends.
12:21How often have they been there? In this month on its own, they've been to my website 30 times.
12:29So, I want to say to everybody in America who visited my website. Thank you very much. I really hope
12:36you like the content.
12:37Hope you like it.
12:38OK.
12:40The United Kingdom. This is my country. This is where I'm from.
12:43And we've got 10. I mean, well, come on. In a whole month, we've got 10 people. And all the
12:51rest of them have got lower numbers than 30.
12:54So, we've got eights and sevens and fives and fours and ones and twos. Just so you understand it.
13:00OK. Are we updating that off the actual page? So, as I said, I'll give you the standard default.
13:06And, of course, these are my views. And these will be my analytics. And it'll also be the point of
13:16interest. Let's say, the point of interest for, let's say, the United Kingdom.
13:21In the United Kingdom, yes, they're interested in 3D photos, 3D downloads, and videos. I mean, yeah, great.
13:33So, America itself? Yeah, they like a few more extra things. I think, OK, kind of great.
13:39What kind of extra things do they like? Well, you're going to have to wait until I update the list
13:44so you can see what they are.
13:46And I also tell you, not only do I tell you if they visit, right? I tell you which point
13:55of interest, which object that the country, not the person, the country, was actually interested in.
14:04If they downloaded it. If it made any money. Yeah. Anyway, you can do a lot with it.
14:13It's up to you. Anyway, I really hope there's a lot of content. Content from scratch.
14:19MFBQ content. I'm going to show you this. And, just close this.
14:23As I said, I would like to show you the background, so you understand it.
14:27It's downloadable content. MFBQ. Content from scratch.
14:34Stay safe and friendly. The choice is yours, and I want to keep it that way.
14:37Thanks very much for watching the video. If you do. Bye.
