00:00Yeah, is it a normal loss that's throw your hands up, eh, whatever.
00:05If they had lost the Chargers game, I don't think we would have had an identity crisis.
00:09It would have been turn the ball over five times.
00:11It was stupid.
00:12It was a dumb game.
00:13We've got our dumb games along the way, right?
00:16Maybe what's different about this one, and have we thought about this really at all,
00:22it means that there's a team out there that might have them, doesn't fear them.
00:28It's not quite the Chiefs because it's the playoffs,
00:31but we think if the Bills had beaten the Broncos,
00:37they just would have gone to New England and won.
00:40You sure?
00:41Are we sure?
00:42The Patriots beat them here, and then in the game at Gillette,
00:47ran out to a huge lead and ultimately lost by four,
00:50and the defense had to make a play late to stop that game.
00:53The Patriots are right there with you.
00:56Three games played, three close games.
00:59They're not these games like the Chargers game where you turn it over five times.
01:02It's not a game like the Texans game where your quarterback goes nine for 30 on the road
01:07and your tackles are concussed.
01:09What you have is you've played them three times,
01:12and when you play them, you look like equals.
01:15And maybe that's the thing that's the scariest
01:18because the Bills have been, whatever, supreme over so many teams,
01:23and a team beats them like, oh, wow, the Jets got to win on a punt return.
01:27That's weird.
01:27All right, let's shake it off.
01:29It's a dumb loss.
01:30Oh, the Vikings got a loss on a fumble into the end zone for a touchdown.
01:34They're all dumb losses except New England.
01:38New England, those two losses last year in the rivalry uniform game
01:42and this year on Sunday, those don't look like super dumb games.
01:46Those look like games that mortal teams play and lose,
01:50and the Bills lost twice now just looking like a mortal team.
01:55Like Vrabel and Josh McDaniels actually have them a little bit,
02:00have their number a little bit.
02:02I mean, it's two games and three,
02:04and they don't beat anybody else that really is that highly ranked.
02:11That's the other part of it.
02:12If you look at their, I think it's like 12 or 13 regular season wins
02:15in the time since they beat the Bills last year in Week 5,
02:20and they didn't beat another playoff team last year.
02:24They did in the playoffs, so I guess those should count for that.
02:27But in the regular season, they didn't beat another playoff team.
02:30They beat a couple of teams from the NFC South.
02:33They beat, in that time, New Orleans, Atlanta, Tampa.
02:36They beat the Jets a couple times.
02:37They beat the Dolphins a couple times.
02:38They beat the Giants, the Ravens, who missed it last year,
02:42Lamar Jackson injuries, Tennessee.
02:44This year, they beat Pittsburgh.
