Zac Taylor on Final Sequence in Bengals' Loss to Jaguars
Transcript
00:00The first play, we threw a slant, kind of bang, bang.
00:04You know, that's a good throw.
00:06That's a good route.
00:08We're in second and 10.
00:09We threw the double post.
00:12We've never run that out of that formation or grouping.
00:14We were kind of out of it.
00:15You were moving people around at that point.
00:17And so that one didn't work out for us.
00:20And then we took a one-on-one, you know, I think on third down,
00:23if I'm not mistaken, to Mitch, which we take those.
00:28You know, that's part of our identity.
00:30And when we got guys out there, they win.
00:32Mitch had won early in the drive.
00:33That one just didn't work out for us.
00:34And then the fourth down, you've got to be ready for pressure.
00:38So we gave ourselves a seven-man pro look on fourth and 10,
00:40because if you get zeroed, you've got to have an answer there.
00:43And he did a good job really making an adjustment with Chase
00:46to make sure we had a really viable outlet that could get us the first down
00:50and came up half a yard short.
00:52So that's a tough one.
00:54It's tough to go down when you're that close.
00:57You know, to find a completion on the first three,
01:01the ball really went to where it probably needed to go
01:03when you watch those plays.
01:04And I thought our guys handled playing different positions really well there.
