00:06The families of the 9-11 victims came out in full force today.
00:12There were hundreds of us in the courtroom fighting for our right, for justice and accountability.
00:17And what we heard today was essentially desperation by the Saudi government.
00:24They're arguing desperate, legal, technical loopholes, and they're not addressing the
00:30fact that this evidence has been buried for 25 years, evidence that the 9-11 commission
00:36itself did not evaluate, evidence that has just come to light through the actions of
00:40our families.
00:42They have no answer for any of that.
00:44So what we saw today was a desperate attempt by Saudi Arabia to evade responsibility, to
00:50evade accountability, to continue to lie, and to continue to evade the truth and avoid
00:57justice.
00:57They had no specific address to the fact that a Saudi spy, a Saudi intelligence agent, had
01:05a hand-drawn sketch of an airplane and an algorithm of how to hit a target on the ground.
01:10They had no explanation as to why a Saudi intelligence asset was hosting the 9-11 hijackers at his
01:17apartment prior to 9-11.
01:19They had no explanation as to why a Saudi intelligence asset had the combative militant
01:26names, the combative names of the 9-11 hijackers.
01:29They had no defense of that, and rather, they tried to continue to lie, continue to evade the
01:37facts, and continue to assert that they're not, continue to assert that they're immune.
01:44I'm a widow, lost my husband, my children were young, seven, four, and four days old.
01:48So, as a mother, I feel it's a terrible legacy to be leaving to these children, like Brett
01:54and others, to have to keep coming and fighting this fight.
