00:00In this video I will show you how to tab products on YouTube videos. To get started what you need
00:07to do is head over to youtube.com and once you've done that and you're logged in you want to
00:11come up
00:11to the top right hand corner click onto your YouTube profile icon and from this menu that
00:16comes up you want to click to go into your YouTube studio. Now before you can add products and tag
00:21products you want to make sure first that you have enabled shopping which is a feature which
00:26part of the YouTube partner program. So if you come over to the menu on the left hand side and
00:30click
00:31onto earn from here what you want to do is scroll down and you should see an option down here
00:35for
00:35shopping. As long as you've met the eligibility requirements you'll be able to enable shopping
00:40and once that's done you can see it's going to say your YouTube partner what you're using and you
00:45should see shopping down here. So once you've done that and you've enabled YouTube shopping you can
00:50then click onto content and find the video that you want to tag a product in. For example let's
00:55take this video here how to add funds to steam wallet. Now what you can do is hover over the
01:01video click onto details to be taken to the video details page and if you scroll down towards the
01:07bottom of the video description you should see a button which says products. Give that a click and
01:13as you can see it says no tagged products. So to actually tag a product all you want to do
01:18is click
01:18the pencil icon here where it says edit products and what that's going to do is open a window like
01:23this.
01:24So what I'm going to do is just add a product from here and we can use the search box
01:29at the top so
01:29I'm just going to type steam gift cards as that is a product relevant to this video and I'm going
01:34to
01:34hit enter to give that a search and you can see that you can add typed products to your YouTube
01:40video. Now if someone does purchase this you do get a commission on that as well. The commission does
01:45vary depending on which company you're using and what kind of products that you're tagging but you can
01:50see for example if we add a steam wallet card to this one this is for a 20 pound wallet
01:55card and
01:56you get an estimated 1% commission. So if you want to tag this just simply click the plus button

02:01tag this product as you can see. Click next at the bottom and then you can choose where you want
02:06to
02:06tag the product in your video timeline and then once that's done you can just click done at the bottom.
02:12Click the save button to apply your changes and as you can see once that's done you can see it
02:16now
02:16is one type of product and we can see our product here which has been tagged. So that's how to
