00:21The following contest,
00:23scheduled for one call with a 20-minute time limit,
00:26is a semi-final match.
00:29In the final match,
00:29the WWF Championship Tournament with the winner to meet Mankind in the final round.
00:37Introducing first, to be accompanied by Paul Bearer,
00:43The Undertaker.
00:49Well, I'll tell you one thing,
00:51it's good that Paul Bearer is still at The Undertaker's side, and this demonic duo
00:58operated very effectively.
01:00Paul Bearer distracted Kane after Kane had delivered a chokeslam,
01:04giving The Undertaker the opportunity to nail Kane with the Tombstone Piledriver.
01:11And that's how The Undertaker advanced over his own flesh and blood Kane.
01:17And that's when I dubbed The Undertaker my new pick to be the next WWE Champion.
01:22But you can quote me as saying that I was misquoted.
01:26I meant to say, Mankind is gonna be the next WWF Champion.
01:30He's my pick, without a doubt.
01:32He's handpicked to be the next WWF Corporate Champion.
01:37Unbelievable.
01:43I don't think The Undertaker would make a very corporate-like champion.
01:49After his trials and tribulations over the past several weeks,
01:54with the owner of this company.
01:55Do you smell what The Rock is cooking?
02:01The Undertaker, his opponent, The Rock says, The Rock says, The Rock says, The Rock says.
02:11The Rock says, The Rock says.
02:27On Interstate 70, the former defensive end of the Miami Hurricane had good hands
02:35when he intercepted the boss man's baton intended for Shamrock earlier, King.
02:41Yeah, the football background certainly paid off.
02:44He intercepted it, then he threw a lateral back to the big boss man.
02:48But in the meantime, he took out Ken Shamrock to advance to this match with
02:52The Undertaker.
02:58And here we go, The Rock and The Undertaker.
03:04One of these two men will meet mankind in the finals of the Deadly Game Tournament
03:09to determine a new World Wrestling Federation champion.
03:12And I think that Mr. Vince McMahon feels like he can probably deal one way or
03:18the other with The Undertaker if he were champion.
03:22I think he feels like he could probably negotiate with him.
03:25Yeah, because Vince has a lot in common with Paul Bear, same kind of ethics.
03:29Now he knows that he can deal with Mankind as the champion.
03:33That's obvious.
03:33And he's just counting on the fact that The Undertaker right here should be able to
03:37put The Rock away.
03:38Mankind has been relegated to no more than The Village Idiot here.
03:41Come on.
03:41At the manipulations of Vince McMahon, and you can't blame Mick Foley for it.
03:45How would you like to see that idiot, the champion of the whole village, huh?
03:50The Rock taking a bite out of those ring steps from The Undertaker.
03:54See, the dumber people think you are, the more surprised they're gonna be when you
03:58beat them.
03:59And that's what happens with Mankind or Mick Foley, look out here.
04:02The Rock fires up with some big time right hands on The Undertaker.
04:05All right, let's go, get in there, one.
04:10Watch it, ooh.
04:12Undertaker lower back on The Rock into the Dashers, and
04:15it retaliates with a clothesline, and The Rock at 6'5", 275, knocked down.
04:22Get there, Mel.
04:24Get there, Mel.
04:27Jeffrey Earl Hebner, certainly no stranger to Survivor Series controversy either.
04:33And he's out there yelling for these guys to get in the ring.
04:36That's like giving a fish a bath, that ain't doing any good.
04:39They'll get in the ring when they want to.
04:42Undertaker bringing Rock back inside.
04:44Rock's gotta use his quickness here, and his youth at 26 years of age.
04:50There's a cover, and The Undertaker got another near fall here.
04:55Undertaker really keeping the pressure on The Rock.
04:58And what kind of celebration do you think is going on in that limousine right now?
05:02You think they popped the cork on a cold one?
05:05I mean, it's gotta be, I mean, champagne's gotta be flowing, it's gotta be party time.
05:10Yeah, I'm sure it's very jubilant.
05:15And when the word comes,
05:16they got telephones in Mr. McMahon's limousine.
05:21I'm sure somebody will phone him with the results of this right here.
05:24I hope they call him collect, right hand by The Rock.
05:29He may have a satellite dish from there.
05:30He may be picking this up right now on TV.
05:34Boy, Undertaker met Rock with a hard elbow there.
05:37Undertaker not taking any unnecessary chances offensively here.
05:41This continued to grow the power and the impact on The Rock.
05:47You don't wanna be disqualified there, Phenom.
05:50Four.
05:51Undertaker milking that count as long as he can.
05:53Right.
05:55Smart moves.
05:56If the referee got to five, would have a disqualification.
06:00Consequently, The Undertaker breaking at four and change.
06:07The Undertaker realizes now he is so close to being the next champion.
06:12Get past The Rock and then it's Mankind.
06:15But you know Undertaker and Mankind have had some battles.
06:19And Mankind has done very well against The Undertaker.
06:24Rock all tied up and nowhere to go but to the hospital if The Undertaker has his way.
06:35Virtually helpless here in the referee.
06:38Got to be intimidated by The Undertaker.
06:40Look out, Undertaker back dropped over the top rope all the way to the floor.
06:52Watch yourself, get out here.
06:54The Undertaker face first into our table.
06:58Come on, Rock.
07:00Ooh.
07:02Jeff, what are these guys fighting out?
07:04Do you realize what would happen if both of these men were counted out?
07:08Yeah, Mankind would be the champion.
07:12They're outside here.
07:14And man, you talk about no man's land.
07:17Yeah, and the people's champs out in the people.
07:21Referee Earl Hamner right out there amongst them, he's not gonna count it out, I don't think.
07:26You gotta count it out, be a big perfect paycheck bonus for you.
07:29I'm sure if Mr. McMahon were here sitting at ringside, he'd be demanding that these two men
07:35be counted out.
07:43Yeah, I think Paul Bearer's telling him right now he better get down.
07:51Our kick right to the ribs, nothing fancy about that.
07:54Now in the world, can Shane McMahon ever look himself in the mirror again?
08:00After we thought this kid had so much integrity, so much character.
08:05Have you ever seen the mirrors in the McMahon house or the McMahon mansion?
08:08I've never been invited out there, actually.
08:09Gold-plated, big gold frames around the mirrors in the McMahon mansion.
08:13Always got fired in another area.
08:18Oh, Paul Bearer, the cheap shot on the rock.
08:24Oh, man.
08:25With a shoe nonetheless.
08:27Paul Bearer, everything's funny.
08:28If the heel don't get you, the smell will.
08:30All right.
08:33Now Shane McMahon could sign Austin to a five-year deal.
08:38Yeah, yeah, yeah, go ahead, say it.
08:40He could be humiliated in front of the world by his father and stand up to him,
08:45show character, show courage, and then do what he has done.
08:48Yeah, in the meantime, though, wow.
08:51He got busted down to being a lowly referee.
08:53And JR, wow.
08:55I've been rich and I've been poor.
08:57And believe me, rich is better.
08:59And I think Shane McMahon probably realized that.
09:01What right hands?
09:02The Rock and the Undertaker fighting back.
09:07The Undertaker buried the knee and on a right hand, caught The Rock right on the table.
09:10The ropes were the only thing there holding The Rock up that time.
09:14One, two, three.
09:15Whip is reversed.
09:17One, two.
09:17Some more drop.
09:19Some more drop by The Rock on The Undertaker.
09:22One, two, three.
09:26Here are the referees counting out.
09:30Come on, Rock.
09:32Wait a minute.
09:35No.
09:36What is, I thought he left.
09:38I thought the big boss man left in the limousine with the McMahon.
09:43Well, obviously, he didn't.
09:46He's back.
09:50Hey, Rock, look who's here.
09:53Well, there ain't no way The Rock's gonna get by this.
09:55I mean, you gotta, The Undertaker is bad enough.
09:58He's the baddest.
10:01Man.
10:06What?
10:09Well, The Rock having some choice words for-
10:11You can't do that right now.
10:12He did it.
10:13The Rock with a low blow on The Undertaker while Errol Henry,
10:16the referee was detained by that, just that hideous Paul Bearer.
10:23No.
10:24What a slam by The Rock.
10:26No way.
10:27By The Undertaker.
10:31And The Rock.
10:32He's not gonna try this on The Undertaker, is he?
10:34The Rock gonna deliver the people's elbow.
10:36No.
10:37And he got his foot caught there by The Boss Man.
10:41And The Undertaker takes advantage, just like earlier.
10:47Well, I hope The Rock didn't spring for first class tickets.
10:50Hey, what is this?
10:51Undertaker, let's nail The Boss Man.
10:53What are you doing?
10:55Undertaker nailing The Boss Man.
10:57Undertaker wants to win this match.
10:59He wants to be, my.
11:08I know The Undertaker wants to win, but he should have realized that The Big Boss Man
11:11went out here to make sure The Rock.
11:13God, here's Kane.
11:14My God, it's Kane.
11:17Kane comes in.
11:22Kane just nailed The Rock.
11:26Wait a minute.
11:27Is Kane and The Undertaker back together again?
11:29I don't think so.
11:30As a result of the disqualification, The Rock.
11:34What? Kane just got his brother disqualified.
11:38And the referee just got himself blasted.
11:40Look at this.
11:41No, they're not back together again.
11:44Kane and The Undertaker are damn sure not back together.
11:48But Kane just got his brother eliminated from this tournament.
11:54I don't think Mr. McMahon's gonna be happy about this.
12:00Boy, McMahon is not gonna be happy at all with Kane either.
12:05Kane just helped Rock advance to the finals of this tournament.
12:09And The Undertaker and Kane is like parting the Red Sea out here.
12:14They're fighting right through these 20,000 plus fans.
12:23And it is a war amongst them.
12:26Where are they going?
12:33Somebody needs to get out of here and stop this.
12:36Do you smell what The Rock is cooking?
12:39Well, I can smell that The Rock and Mankind will be in the finals of tonight's
12:45game.
12:46The Rock will be the next WWE Champion.
12:57The Rock says-
12:59The Rock says-
