00:08You know, the bright side of losing is, you know, this year was special to this guy, you know,
00:14being in this cup house with these guys, and we won't ever have that moment again as a group. So,
00:18you know, those moments that we had throughout the year where people counted us out, we're all
00:23struggling at the same time, things could have gone either way, and this group just got closer
00:29and closer and closer, and that was awesome to see, and, you know, that was a first for me as

00:33a part of a team that does that, and I think that's why it stings even more. Really hard to
00:37express, you know, it's a group that you look forward to showing up to the field every single
00:41day, you know, that celebrates the good things in your life on the field and off the field, and,
00:47you know, we did a lot of celebrating together this year too, so, you know, it's a group that
00:52it's an honor to be a part of, and, you know, all of us contributing the little bits that we
00:57did over
00:57the course of the year to get us to this point, and, you know, unfortunately, it just wasn't
01:02quite enough, so, I mean, I'm the first one to look in the mirror and say that I could
01:06have done more, wish that I would have done more, wish the things had worked out differently,
01:12but, yeah, it's a tough way to end a year. I mean, at this point, you know, you play 162
01:17games, and then, you know, you play every game now expecting it to not be your last, you know,
01:22unfortunately, today's that day for us.
01:23You know, when you saw that hit by Manny, just what did you, what did you think in that
01:28moment when you, when you saw him hit that hit?
01:33Man, I just, it's a tough one to swallow, you know, and, uh, in Speckle Park, you know,
01:40it's been our stadium, been our home stadium, so we know where we're playing, and, you know,
01:45it's a, it's a tough one, put a great swing on a tough pitch, and I just didn't win our
01:52side
01:52this time. You're facing the best team in baseball. One of the best pitching staffs
01:57in all of baseball. It's not the best, um, you know, we try to, you know, we had opportunities
02:03there, and we just didn't, we didn't, we didn't come up with the clutch hit. Um, they did,
02:07you know, and that's just how the series turned around. We're a hit away in that first inning
02:11of the day. Maybe I shouldn't have bunted, maybe I should have swung, and maybe hit a home
02:15right there, but just trying to get something going, and, um, you know, we just, we just,
02:20we just couldn't get that big hit, and they did, you know, and that's just, it's part
02:23of the game.
