00:20Thank you so much for watching.
01:30That's why I've not been hearing from you.
01:31Are we doing both tonight?
01:31Question mark.
01:32I got no response.
01:33I thought you'd ghosted me.
01:34No, I would never.
01:35I would never.
01:36Right.
01:36Well, we'll sort this out after.
01:37Oh, you look wonderful.
01:38Well, so do you.
01:38I'm loving the shoes.
01:40Tell me about them.
01:41What kind of shoes are these?
01:42Some people call them aquarium shoes.
01:44Right.
01:45Yeah.
01:46Do you feel hot in them?
01:47Are you all right?
01:48No, I feel all right.
01:49I mean, I've been in them for seven minutes.
01:51Ask me in seven hours.
01:52But for now, pretty surprisingly comfortable, actually.
01:57Well, can I just say, I literally begged to do this red carpet because I was like, I have
02:01to know what Alexander Skarsgård is going to wear.
02:03I honestly look so forward to every time you're on a press run because you're so fun.
02:07So just know that we all appreciate it.
02:09Well, I want to go for something subtle tonight.
02:14After the piece last year, I wanted to go for something, yeah.
02:19Demure and mindful.
02:20Demure and mindful, exactly.
02:21That's what I went for this year.
02:22Listen, I love this film.
02:23As soon as I saw the trailer, as soon as I knew it was you and Olivia Colman, I was
02:26like,
02:27I'm in.
02:27I'm sold.
02:28I mean, was it the same for you?
02:29Did you just read it and think, I've got to do this?
02:33Half a page in, I was like, of course I want to do this.
02:36It was so, it really is unique.
02:40Have you seen the whole film?
02:41Yeah.
02:41Oh, yeah.
02:42So, you know, it's just, it was so unique in its tone and the world that they had created.
02:50It was, that's quite a rare experience for me, reading a script that doesn't feel derivative
02:57or it's just like transported into a whole different universe.
03:01And it was tonally so right up my alley because it was, it had a lot of social commentary.
03:08Yeah.
03:09Um, on patriarchy and the institution of marriage and, but it was done with such a light touch
03:15and so much humor and, uh, warmth and, and that really kind of spoke to me.
03:21I, and, and a very interesting character, obviously.
03:24And as a single woman in 2026, I'm now thinking maybe I should create a wicker man, but as someone
03:30-
03:30You should have a chat with Mr. Dinklage later and, uh, I think he's available now to, to, to create
03:35something.
03:36But as someone that's played a wicker man, what are the pros and cons of marrying one?
03:40Um, well, he's a very attentive husband, uh, caring, uh, um, loving.
03:49I mean, he is highly flammable.
03:52So that's a bit of a downside.
03:54Uh, you also can't share a nice meal with him.
03:57Yeah.
03:58He likes to stick to mud water.
04:01So that's maybe a little bit of a downside.
04:03But it's better than men in 2026.
04:06I've got to let you get on.
04:07So thank you so much.
04:08And we'll, we'll chat later.
04:09Yeah.
04:10And for next year, we'll definitely coordinate.
04:12Yeah.
04:12We'll coordinate.
04:12Yeah.
04:12I apologize for that.
04:14It's so nice to see you.
04:35Hello you.
04:36Lovely to see you again.
04:37It's been ages.
04:37How are you doing?
04:38I'm loving your hair as well, by the way.
04:39It's beautiful.
04:42Even if I do smell a bit like kebab, I had one of those posh kebabs before I came in
04:45here.
04:45Oh, gorgeous face.
04:46Can't shake the smells.
04:47You look beautiful.
04:48Thank you so much.
04:49Listen, I love this film.
04:50As soon as I saw the trailer, I was like, I'm sold.
04:52Obviously you being in it, Alexander, I was like, I'm there, I'm sat.
04:55But I got it as a single woman in 2026.
04:58Yeah.
04:58Right away, I was like, I get this film.
05:00Did it resonate for you like that when you read it?
05:03Yeah, I really loved her.
05:05I loved that she had her own, she had agency.
05:08She's the only woman in the village with her own name.
05:10Every other woman, every woman is named after their husband's job.
05:14Bonkers.
05:15And I loved that she, they mocked her, but she's the only one with power and agency.
05:20And she's the only one who has an equal relationship in the end.
05:23And I kind of now want to create my own wicker man.
05:26Yeah.
05:27But what are the pros and cons of dating a wicker man?
05:30There really are very few cons.
05:36Yeah, there aren't, I can't think of any cons.
05:39Good.
05:39You've seen all the pros.
05:42That's right.
05:43That's so great to see you.
05:44And I now have a deep desire for someone to call me a spinster.
05:47I'm dead, I really want that to happen now.
05:49I'm like, yes, please can someone call me that in 2026.
05:52So good to see you.
05:53So beautiful.
05:54Congratulations.
05:54You're smashing up.
