00:14This is tonight's semifinal, it is a three-way for the CMOL World Heavyweight Championship.
00:28Ladies and gentlemen, first, making his way to the ring, a member of the Death Riders and former CMOL World
00:43Heavyweight Champion is coming back to the Cathedral of Lucha Libre.
00:50He is Claudio Castagnoli!
01:16Tonight, he won to capture his first championship in Mexico.
01:24He is a two-time IWG Free World Heavyweight Champion and G1 Climax winner representing New Japan Pro Wrestling, Zack
01:35Sabre Jr.
01:54And now, let's welcome...
01:58The Alchemist of the Ring!
02:03He is the CMOL World Heavyweight Champion, representing Monterrey Nuevo León.
02:12Ladies and gentlemen, let's welcome...
02:29And...
02:30GZERO!
02:48GZERO!
02:48Friends of the best Lucha Libre in the world, this is a three-way for the CMOL World Heavyweight Championship.
02:58Zack Sabre Jr. vs.
03:00Hechicero vs.
03:02Claudio Castagnoli.
03:05Referee for GZ Candes, Aubrey Edwards!
03:22CLL World Heavyweight Championship on the line this is our fourth title match
03:28here of the night and I will point out that so far Jorge Miguel we've had no
03:34title changes that might be just about to change here tonight three-way action
03:41Echicero the defending champion here and there's Claudio Castagnoli the man who
03:47Echicero was recently defeated to become champion as you can see with a brand new
03:52beautiful looking weight shoulders down and then Zach with the crucifix
03:58wait I can't even keep track of all these pinfalls as now La Cacita has Claudio
04:03down no Zach instead looking for the no gets caught with the uppercut and this
04:09is going to be non-stop fast-paced action clash of styles and strengths as now
04:15Echicero looks to pin both opponents at once Claudio defeated Gran Guerrero about a year ago
04:26to become a CMLL World Heavyweight Champion defended that title as much as he could
04:31until finally Echicero was able to best him now Echicero has the odds stacked against him
04:40with a former CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Claudio Castagnoli and then Zach Sabre Jr two-time
04:47IWGP World Heavyweight Champion no stranger to collecting titles and it looks like whoa I
04:53say I thought Claudio and Zach were going to work together that did not last very long as now Echicero
05:02rolling through trying to get control of Claudio Claudio's fighting it but eventually Echicero
05:10wrenching back on the arm as now Zach Sabre Jr with the head scissors and Zach has been back here
05:18in Mexico
05:19for about a week and he has made it known that he does not care for it here in Arena
05:25Mexico he does
05:25not care for the Mexican people and right now he is in trouble trapped at the end of the submission
05:32until he can pick the leg of Claudio Castagnoli
05:38all of them trying to and the victory by submission
05:44and Zach was smoothly moving from Echicero to Claudio but now Echicero has got one and he's got the other
05:50one
05:51he's got both opponents tied up Echicero and Zach Sabre Jr both renowned technicians
05:56they've had a multi-year multi-promotional rivalry
06:03essentially based around their skill as technical wrestlers
06:07meanwhile Claudio Castagnoli I mean he can get technical when he needs to
06:11but we know Claudio for his strength as well as his agility
06:15keep in mind Claudio Castagnoli early on in his career
06:18trained in the Lucha Libre style he loves it he appreciates it
06:22and now he is here in Arena Mexico to try to win back that championship
06:34big boot is straight to the face of Zach Sabre Jr
06:43and then over the top wrenching on the chin Echicero
06:50again this is a three-way match
06:52from behind
06:54it doesn't matter if there are the ropes
06:58still going to weaken your opponent here
07:01and Claudio
07:03another big boot to check
07:04he breaks it up
07:06and this is that strength of Claudio Castagnoli
07:15dragging Zach Sabre Jr from the outside in
07:23and whoa
07:24Echicero with a suplex to the floor
07:26whoa no Claudio saves himself
07:33again it was Claudio Castagnoli who Echicero defeated
07:37to become the champion
07:39and now come on Claudio goes for the eyes
07:42goes for the mask
07:44as Aubrey
07:45pushes Aubrey off
07:47yeah tries to retain
07:48oh no
07:49oh no no no no no
07:50oh no no no no no
07:52Gump wrench powerbomb to the floor
07:58and at that point we might now have a one-on-one matchup
08:01between Zach Sabre Jr and Claudio Castagnoli
08:04the current champion
08:05it might have just been eliminated from the equation
08:07as Claudio makes the climb
08:13yeah holding onto the pinfall
08:18Zach still able to kick out
08:42and he's forcing Claudio down to a knee as he wrenches back on the shoulder
08:47and he's forcing Claudio down to a knee as he wrenches back on the shoulder
08:50the blood is not rushing to it
08:53Claudio collapsing to the ground
08:55Zach then switching to a different submission into a cross arm breaker
09:00Zach in general if a submission is not working for him he will have something new
09:05he will transition into something else
09:07he's not going to stay longer than just a few seconds
09:10but right now he's about to get some air time
09:16look at I don't know how to explain it
09:19the verticality
09:20yeah the oh the strand on Claudio though
09:24whoa
09:25went for the buckle
09:27and Zach Sabre Jr still holding on
09:29he's still holding on
09:31you can see the pain in Claudio
09:34and the crowd calling for a Chisera
09:36get back on this match
09:37they cannot win the title outside
09:40Aubrey's calling for them to get back in the ring
09:42and again the strand on Claudio
09:44it's just holding on to Zach
09:46but Zach is not letting him power him through
09:49hitting out
09:49oh
09:50and the Chisera's back in the ring
09:51full speed
09:52oh
09:53and onto the pile of bodies
09:56Echisera picking his moment
10:00and picking up Claudio Castagnoli
10:04Claudio into the barricade
10:07and now Echisera zeroes in on Zach Sabre Jr
10:10as we said
10:11these two have had a long rivalry
10:14Zach pinned Echisera last Friday
10:17the tag team matchup
10:19that does not bode well for the champion
10:21here as he gets a cover
10:23and he's got to think about that
10:25know about that
10:26in the back of his head
10:31whoa
10:31too many submissions by Echisera
10:34and oh
10:35oh
10:35El Conoro
10:37by Echisera
10:39and then cracking on to the back
10:42of Zach Sabre Jr
10:49Zach Sabre Jr
10:51has been neutralized
10:52Echisera
10:56continuing the assault
11:00continuing with that hard hitting
11:09fans want more by Echisera
11:11but now
11:11Zach Sabre Jr
11:14and back to the submission
11:16look at the way that Echisera's fingers
11:18are bent back
11:20and now going for the wrist as well
11:23Aubrey's right there
11:24but so is Claudio Castagnoli
11:28what a kick right to the face
11:30and now
11:32Castagnoli want to face Echisera
11:34to defeat him
11:37Echisera
11:38oh went for the drop kick
11:40and got caught
11:42oh but wait
11:43Claudio was looking for a giant swing
11:45and then he gets rolled up
11:49Echisera one step ahead of Castagnoli
11:55but Claudio
11:56those uppercuts
11:57are so brutal
11:59now going corner to corner
12:01opponent to opponent
12:02but wait
12:03Echisera was martyr
12:05he dodges
12:06it's clothesline
12:08Echisera
12:08a very sweet
12:10wrestler
12:10always comes into matches
12:12prepared
12:12and he was prepared
12:14to deliver a brutal
12:15double stop
12:16as Zach Sabre Jr
12:18gets caught
12:19oh
12:19he got a taste
12:21of his own medicine
12:22right there
12:23that knee
12:24must be completely
12:25jammed
12:26as Echisera
12:29makes the climb
12:31all the way up
12:32and takes out
12:33Zach Sabre Jr
12:35leg is hooked
12:36oh
12:37so close
12:40very very close
12:41for Echisera
12:43look how Castagnoli
12:44going outside of the ring
12:45so now
12:46the champion
12:47going for
12:48the cazadora
12:48yep
12:53oh
12:53swing and spin
12:54and now he's got him
12:56on a sleeper hold
12:57Aubrey asking
12:59Zach if he wants
13:00to give up
13:01and it is
13:01whoa
13:02Zach rolls through
13:05goes for a hold
13:06of his own
13:07it is not often
13:08that we see
13:08Zach Sabre Jr
13:09get caught
13:10in submissions
13:11like this
13:12sometimes
13:13the only times
13:14are whoa
13:15when he's with
13:16Echisera
13:17as he bends
13:17all the way back
13:18but Claudio
13:19Castagnoli
13:20dead lifting
13:22Zach
13:23all the way up
13:24he was not
13:25total about
13:25breaking that pin
13:28no
13:28oh
13:28what
13:29what
13:30oh
13:31oh
13:32oh
13:32oh
13:32oh
13:33oh
13:33oh
13:34oh
13:34oh
13:35oh
13:35but it's Claudio
13:35who pins
13:36Echisera
13:36I mean that would
13:39have been a
13:40dominating win
13:41if anything
13:43taking out both
13:44opponents at once
13:45and then pinning
13:46the champion
13:52but the support here
13:53in arena Mexico
13:53is for Echisera
13:55you can hear it
13:56they want him to hold on
13:57to his title
13:58and then
13:58a flapjack
14:00as now
14:01Echisera
14:05got Claudio
14:07and now
14:08this with
14:09La Reca
14:12this has proved
14:13very successful
14:14here's a cover
14:15for Echisera
14:16particularly during
14:17this championship
14:18reign
14:18he has retained
14:19his title
14:20a number of times
14:22with La Reca
14:23but Claudio Castagnoli
14:25is still in it
14:26from the ropes
14:28looking for
14:29La Echisera
14:30got caught
14:31Claudio
14:31just too
14:32strong
14:34here comes
14:36the swing
14:38giant swing
14:40Claudio
14:41Castagnoli
14:47so many rotations
14:52now looking
14:53for the neutralizer
14:55yeah absolutely
14:56pulling Echisera
14:57into position
14:58and that's it
14:59we have a new champion
15:02wait
15:02oh no
15:03by no means
15:04oh
15:04cranking on the neck
15:06and now
15:06Zack Sabre Jr

15:24to defeat
15:25Echisera
15:25before
15:26as little
15:27as a week ago
15:32Echisera
15:32Echisera
15:33resist a neutralizer
15:35that move
15:36by Zack Sabre Jr
15:38Echisera
15:38in the quest
15:39to retain his title
15:40has been kicking out
15:41of the major
15:42moves
15:43of all of his opponents
15:45moves that they use
15:46to win matches
15:47all of the time
15:57I don't know how
15:58Echisera resist
15:59every move
16:00every submission
16:04another kick
16:05square to the chest
16:15Echisera
16:16Echisera's back down
16:17Claudio
16:17gets caught
16:20and held down
16:22by the shoulders
16:22wow
16:23again
16:24so so close
16:29pop up
16:30into a brutal
16:30uppercut
16:31and now the neutralizer
16:34wait wait wait
16:34oh and into Echisera
16:36Claudio Castagnoli
16:38stacking bodies

16:50and now back here
16:52well

16:56Castagnoli
16:57Castagnoli on his feet

17:02puts the leg deep
17:03oh my god
17:05I thought that was it
17:06closer than close
17:08with a painful
17:09and with a submission
17:12knee right to the chin
17:20and now in the center
17:21of the ring
17:21looking for the submission
17:25Castagnoli
17:25all tied up
17:32Castagnoli in agony
17:33and he has no choice
17:35he has to give it up
17:38and Zack Sabre Jr
17:39unable to make the same
17:40Echisera
17:41is still champion
17:49ladies and gentlemen
17:51here is your winner
17:55the 93th anniversary show
17:57in this three-way
17:59he is

18:03and still
18:03CML World
18:04heavyweight champion

18:14Echisera
18:15Echisera
18:18Echisera
18:24and he receives
18:26the CML World Heavyweight Championship
18:28by
18:29José Luis Feliciano
18:31member of the
18:31booking team
18:33and
18:34Salvador Lutero
18:35nominally
18:36president
18:37of
18:38Echisera
18:39Echisera
18:41and still
18:41Echisera
18:43with this
18:44new design
18:45of the CML World Heavyweight Championship
18:57Echisera
18:58a hard fought victory
19:00against two opponents
19:01for Echisera
19:03Echisera
19:03but he still stands tall
19:05and victorious important victory for Echicero to steal a champion
19:24here's a replay from that championship match knee right to the chin classic
19:31Echicero and then with Claudio Castagnoli completely immobilized you can see
19:37here Castagnoli in absolute agony had to give Aubrey Edwards a verbal
19:44submission there's no hands there's no parts for him to tap he couldn't even
19:47tap a toe and that was enough for Echicero to hold on to that title and
19:56fight another day
