00:30...that you try out for the Royal Dragonrider course.
00:32You got it. Watch me take it down.
00:36That's a level 72 Demon King.
00:38Three Royal Dragonrider squads couldn't kill it.
00:40And Elias doesn't even have a dragon yet.
00:42I know, but this is his final lesson.
00:45A little humbling will do him good.
00:49Oh, you sly old fox.
01:08Are you insane, kid?
01:10Run! You're no match for this thing!
01:13Run!
01:14Run!
01:14Run!
01:14Run!
01:14Run!
01:14Run!
01:15Run!
01:15Run!
01:16Run!
01:17Run!
01:19Run!
01:20Run!
01:21Run!
01:26Run!
01:27Run!
01:29Run!
01:29Run!
01:39Run!
01:40No way.
01:41A hit like that should have turned into ash.
01:44Wait.
01:45It's this strong?
01:46Maybe my masters were right.
01:51I'm still too weak!
02:12I'm still too weak!
02:13Dragons only answer to their dragon mark.
02:16So how is he commanding ours?
02:18No way!
02:37I came here to bully humans!
02:39Almost got slain by a child!
02:42Never again!
02:43Dammit!
02:44I let that thing slip away.
02:49Wait!
02:50You saved my life!
02:53Master.
02:54Hm.
02:55You couldn't even take down a runt?
02:57Pathetic.
02:58I know I'm weak.
02:59And I don't have a dragon mark.
03:01But I've always wanted to join the Royal Dragon Rider Academy.
03:04Please.
03:05Just let me try.
03:06A young man should have dreams.
03:08Let him go see the world.
03:10That's right.
03:10Just remember, wherever you go, you've got us behind you.
03:16Fine.
03:17Here, take this.
03:21A scrap of metal?
03:22No.
03:24No.
03:25You little fool.
03:26That's Iska's treasure.
03:27Don't go losing it.
03:32I won't let you down.
03:33Thank you, Masters.
03:45The Midas Seal can access the treasuries of all seven kingdoms.
03:50And he called it a scrap of metal.
03:53Everyone needs a dragon mark to summon a dragon.
03:56Elias has none, yet every dragon answers to him.
04:00Can't wait to see their faces.
04:02Well, the Dragon God chose him, obviously.
04:09Three squads couldn't beat that monster, yet he did it without a dragon.
04:13And even our dragons fought for him.
04:14Find that young man, whatever it takes.
04:17And then...
04:23I'll make him the kingdom's greatest dragon life.
04:41Elias.
04:42Age 20.
04:52Alice!
04:53Is that really you?
04:55Leila!
04:56What are you doing here?
04:59You said you wanted to join the Royal Dragon Rider Academy.
05:01So I thought I'd find you here.
05:10Ha!
05:11So this is the hick you turned me down for, Leila?
05:14Elias.
05:14Let it go.
05:15He's a Duke's son and his family's powerful.
05:24Well, well.
05:25You think you can get into the Academy?
05:28No Dragon Mark?
05:31And you want to be a Dragon Rider?
05:35Go on, tell me.
05:37How will you share senses with a dragon?
05:39Or fight alongside one?
05:41Bet he won't even pass the first trial.
05:43What a loser.
05:48Why not clean dragon dung?
05:50That fits you.
05:54Enough!
05:55Birth and age don't make a Dragon Rider.
05:58The trials haven't even started.
06:00Don't judge him now.
06:04Defend him all you want, Leila.
06:06The Academy won't take him.
06:22Still can't tame that runt?
06:26Cain's right.
06:27Maybe I'm not cut out for this.
06:29Don't say that.
06:30I know you can do it.
06:38Some trash with no Dragon Mark.
06:40Who let you into the Academy trials?
06:42Throw him out!
06:50No!
06:50Examiner Marcus!
06:51You can't do that!
06:54No!
07:06Examiner Marcus!
07:07You can't do that!
07:07Help!
07:08Help!
07:08Help!
07:10Help!
07:19Is that him?
07:27He's back.
07:29So familiar.
07:35Examiner Marcus!
07:36What's going on here?
07:37It's nothing, Captain Roland.
07:39Just a lad with no Dragon Mark.
07:41Trying to get in.
07:43No Dragon Mark.
07:44Then he can't be the one.
07:48Tell me, kid.
07:49What makes you think you can be a Dragon Rider?
07:55I need to be stronger.
07:57So no one can humiliate me.
07:59Or my loved ones.
08:04Add his name.
08:09Captain Roland?
08:10He doesn't qualify.
08:11Strength decides who becomes a Dragon Rider.
08:14It's not up to us.
08:21Thank you.
08:22I hope I'm right.
08:34The Royal Dragon Rider Academy Trials begin now.
08:45Trial 1.
08:46The Dragon Flame Chalice Selection.
08:49The Chalice will select 30 candidates.
08:52Weak wills, false names, and low resistance to Dragon pressure won't pass.
08:57If the Dragon Flame names you, you advance.
09:00If not, you're out.
09:17Nelson Black!
09:19You faked your entry.
09:20The Chalice caught you cheating.
09:22Get him out!
09:25Examiner Marcus.
09:27If someone hasn't awakened their Dragon Mark, do they fail the trial?
09:32A late awakening means weak blood and low potential.
09:36No Dragon Mark.
09:36They're free to stay.
09:37But they won't pass.
09:39See?
09:40You could have left.
09:41Now you're just wasting everyone's time.
09:44Write this down.
09:46No Dragon Mark.
09:47No more Academy Trials.
09:49No!
09:58No!
10:00Go ahead!
10:05Go ahead!
10:06First, Cain Drake.
10:08Yeah!
10:10Second, Lydia Horne.
10:143rd, Raymond Clay
10:2530th
10:31Alan Walker
10:36Ha!
10:38That's all 30, the chalice passed you over
10:45Maybe I'm not meant to be a dragon rider
10:49Is I wrong about you?
10:56We have our 30 official candidates
10:59Told you, Elias would never get chosen
11:05The dragon flame chalice doesn't care who you are
11:10Only what you can do
11:12And it still wouldn't have you
11:19With that kind of talent
11:20The nerve of him
11:22Exactly
11:23Dragon riders are one in a million
11:25Not just anyone gets in
11:32Master was right
11:33I'm still far too weak
11:35Look at those dragon keepers
11:37See the difference?
11:38Dragon riders are born to rule the skies
11:41And you?
11:42Try all you want
11:43You're only fit to wash their scales
11:52Anyone not chosen?
11:53Clear the arena
11:57No
11:57Wait
12:00The chalice must have made a mistake
12:02Give Eli another chance, please
12:06I'm sorry, Layla
12:07I let you down
12:08Layla
12:09Have you lost your mind?
12:11You've questioned the chalice judgment for this loser
12:13The chalice is never wrong
12:16Layla
12:16For your father's sake
12:18I'll let this slide
12:18If you're meant to marry Cain
12:24Don't risk your future for a loser
12:28That was my father's choice
12:29I've always loved Elias
12:31If he hadn't saved me
12:34I'd be dead
12:37No
12:39No
12:40It can't be
12:42Was he really not that dragon master?
12:47Someone
12:47Throw Layla
12:49And this loser out
13:23Ilias
13:32The 31st name?
13:36No way
13:37The chalice only picks 30 each year
13:4030 spots are full
13:41This name doesn't count
13:44Stop
13:51This is the dragon god's will
13:54The dragon flame chalice can make mistakes
13:56But you just said it's never wrong
13:58Besides, the rules say
13:59Anyone the chalice chooses can continue
14:03Please, just let Elias finish the trials
14:08Fine, have it your way
14:10But remember, it doesn't mean he's in
14:12Two trials remain
14:15Let's see how long your precious loser lasts
14:19And I'll see if he's the one
14:22The chalice chose 31 this year
14:24And he doesn't even have a dragon mark
14:29No dragon mark
14:30Yet the chalice chose him
14:31Could he be?
14:36To the trials
14:37To the trials
14:38Right now
14:45Trial two
14:46Dragon summoning
14:48Pour your power into the dragon summoning platform
14:51The stronger you are
14:53The stronger the dragon's rank
14:55F is the lowest
14:56S is highest
14:58Dragons under C rank can't armor up
15:00Transport and scout only
15:02C rank and above
15:04Type of riders
15:05Anything below that
15:06Or you're out
15:08Pour my power
15:09It shouldn't be hard
15:13But I'm so weak
15:14Will any dragon answer me?
15:17For someone with no dragon mark?
15:20Of course it won't be hard
15:21Yeah, because no dragon will answer him
15:24Kid
15:26Don't let me down
15:27Who's first?
15:29Me
15:45D rank red tail waven
15:48Fail
15:57C rank
15:58Ice scale dragon
15:59Past
16:04D rank
16:05Past
16:06E rank
16:07Fail
16:07C rank
16:08Past
16:10V rank
16:11Thunderhorn dragon
16:13C rank dragons do fire
16:14And V rank dragons perform dragon armor with their right
16:18Is that strong?
16:20Move aside
16:24Layla, watch me
16:25We'll see who's right for you
16:40That summoning circle?
16:42Only elite dragon riders can do that
16:54A rank
16:55Golden dragon
16:58A rank actually
17:00Incredible
17:00Cain Drake
17:01You passed
17:02This is A rank
17:03Even that runt breathed hot afire
17:19Not bad
17:21Next, Elias
17:35Go on
17:36Give us a show
17:41Elias, you can do it
17:52Get off the platform
17:54Boo, loser
17:58I bet he can't even summon an F rank earth dragon
18:02Hey, be nice
18:03Maybe the dragon's nest needs a shit cleaner
18:08Get back to the sticks, loser
18:17You can do this, Elias
18:19You can do this, Elias
18:36What kind of power is this?
19:02S rank?
19:04S rank?
19:05S rank?
19:12All that noise for nothing
19:28A thousand years
19:30et un homme a finalement atteint moi.
19:47Sonneau !
19:48Get up !
20:00It's him !
20:19So much for that, huh ?
20:20Not even an F-rank dragon answered you.
20:22Toss this trash out !
20:23Yes !
20:24Toss this trash out !
20:26That gate can't contain my true form.
20:29Then I'll meet my future master in person.
20:42Captain Rowland, you saw it.
20:44For the Royal Dragonrider Corps' honour.
20:47Kick this trash out.
20:49Examiner Marcus !
20:50It's okay, Layla.
20:51Guess I'm still too weak.
20:53Maybe I need a few more years with my masters.
20:56So it's not him.
20:58Cross him off the list.
21:01Wait !
21:02Captain Rowland, please !
21:04Give Elias another chance !
21:05Did you see the platform ?
21:07No weaker could have done that !
21:08There has to be a mistake !
21:10She's right.
21:11But if so, why did no dragon answer ?
21:14Layla, wake up !
21:15He's just a loser !
21:16Get lost !
21:17Fine !
21:18Captain Rowland, if this loser wants the third trial,
21:20Let him have it !
21:23Layla !
21:25Watch him die !
21:40Layla !
21:41Watch him die !
21:47The dragon only provides the power.
21:50Your body, will, and skill determine how much you can use.
21:54It's true.
21:55A common rider barely taps into its power, but an elite rider can crush an army with the same dragon.
22:02So, this trial tests you, not the dragon.
22:09Uncle Marcus, let him die.
22:12Don't worry.
22:12One strike and he's dead.
22:14But Rodan is watching, won't that be a problem ?
22:17Who cares ?
22:18I'm Commander Sauron's right-hand man.
22:20And death is part of the combat trial.
22:23For a hick like him, dying in the saddle is an honor.
22:31Damn it !
22:34What's wrong ?
22:35I just remembered.
22:36Marcus is running the third trial.
22:39Examiner Marcus is an 8th ranked dragon rider.
22:42He knows his limits, and won't hurt the kid.
22:46You've got it backwards.
22:49I'm worried that kid might kill Marcus.
22:52Move !
22:53Move !
22:53Full speed !
23:01Watch yourself, Elias.
23:03Marcus is an 8th ranked dragon rider.
23:05He took down seven dragon generals with one lance.
23:08Second only to Captain Roland.
23:10Then I won't last two strikes.
23:12Don't panic.
23:13Let's see how the others do first.
23:14Not everyone deserves to be here.
23:16And this trial exists to weed out the dead weight.
23:19Who's first ?
23:20I will !
23:27Dragon armor !
23:31First strike.
23:32Fail.
23:37Tier one dragon rider art.
23:39Black fire wind blades.
23:43A dragon rider art ?
23:44That's 8th ranked power.
23:45It could cut through iron.
23:47Look at that.
23:48Can't even take my uncle's first strike.
23:49Pathetic.
23:50Get out.
23:51The attack spreads its power too thin.
23:53Examiner Marcus is holding back.
23:55We're all weak.
23:56Kane, show them what a genius can do.
23:59Gladly.
24:08Guys !
24:09Kane's going toe to toe with Examiner Marcus.
24:12He's good enough with the Royal Dragon Rider Corps.
24:15Brace yourself.
24:16Tier two combat art.
24:17Black wing meteor spear.
24:19Tier two dragon rider art.
24:20Examiner Marcus is raising the bar.
24:31Unbelievable.
24:33Examiner Marcus hasn't even used the friction of his strength.
24:36Kane withstood both strikes and passed.
24:39Impressive.
24:49That's how a real dragon rider fights.
24:52What have you got, loser?
24:54Elias, stop this.
24:55You're going to get hurt.
24:55Let's get out of here.
24:58But...
24:58He's not even that strong, you know?
25:03What?
25:04Are you out of your mind?
25:05You dare question my uncle?
25:07You loser!
25:08I mean it.
25:10Excuse me.
25:15Examiner Marcus, we're out.
25:17We're done with this combat trial.
25:19Layla, just let me try.
25:22Marcus won't spare you.
25:23Let's find another Dragon Rider Academy.
25:25It's too late.
25:27Elias insulted the head examiner.
25:30Run from this fight, and he'll never try out for any Academy.
25:34That's right!
25:35He should answer for his arrogance.
25:37Just a piece of trash.
25:39And he dares challenge an eighth-ranked Dragon Rider?
25:41Let him try.
25:42No dragon mark, no way to command his dragon.
25:45One hit, and he's done.
25:47Get out of here!
25:49You never intended to let him survive.
25:51If he dies out there, it only proves he wasn't fit to be a Dragon Rider.
25:57Layla, marry Cain.
25:58And I might just let the poor fool crawl away alive.
26:02Cain is a Duke's son.
26:03Much better than marrying some hick and burying him.
26:06Yeah, Cain is the Duke's heir.
26:07What does that worthless rack have?
26:09Layla, stand by me, and I'll have my uncle spare Elias.
26:19Hands off me!
26:23Touch her, and I'll take you down with me.
26:27Uncle Marcus! Kill him!
26:31First strike, bloodlocked Dragon Seal.
26:35That's Marcus's signature move.
26:38Watch out!
26:40That's all you've got?
26:42How dare you, arrogant fool, die!
26:51You better be ready for this, kid.
26:54Elias!
26:55Rot in hell!
27:01Break!
27:06Impossible.
27:07Greywing, now!
27:15No way.
27:16He has no dragon, Mark.
27:18How is he controlling a dragon?
27:30It's him.
27:41It's him.
27:43Weaker than I expected.
27:45Were you holding back?
27:47Or hiding your true strength?
27:52It was Elias.
27:53It was Elias.
27:54He commanded our dragon and fought the Demon King.
27:57Holding back?
27:58That was everything I've got.
28:06So that's why Marcus held back?
28:08He didn't want to kill Elias?
28:10Of course!
28:10How could an 8th rank dragon rider lose to a nobody?
28:15Uncle Marcus!
28:16Show him your real strength!
28:18No dragon, Mark.
28:19First time at the academy.
28:21That's why you're still alive.
28:23Pack it in now, or you won't walk out of here.
28:27So you're really holding back.
28:32But I don't need that.
28:33Keep going.
28:35Even if you pass, you'll never join the Royal Dragon Rider Corps!
28:38Why?
28:40We judge the whole trial.
28:42Without a dragon, you can't get in.
28:43But Elias beat the Head Examiners!
28:45The combat trial only counts for part of the score.
28:48He has no dragon, so he ranks last.
28:50Cain Dake takes the top spot!
28:54Hear that, loser?
28:56One lucky break can't change your blood.
28:59A guy that strong doesn't belong in this academy.
29:02Elias must have his reasons.
29:05I should stay out of it.
29:14No name, no dragon blood, and you think you can take first place from me?
29:18The trials are over!
29:19All non-candidates, out!
29:22What are you waiting for?
29:23Get out!
29:28Rules are rules.
29:29Elias, you'd better clear out for now.
29:31Uncle Marcus, why be so nice to him?
29:33Silence!
29:38Elias, I'll wait for you no matter what.
29:42Sorry.
29:42It's just...
29:43I'm too weak.
29:44I let you down.
29:46Elias!
29:47Look at him tuck his tail and run.
29:49Pathetic.
29:54The trials are over!
29:57The trials are over!
30:11Hail Duke Sauron!
30:14Who took first place?
30:18That'd be me, your grace?
30:21No.
30:23You're not the one.
30:26You're not the one.
