00:15monday night presentation kevin harland courtside with greg anthony and richard jefferson
00:21along with ali la force reporting from the sideline
00:26on tuesday they'll be matching up against anthony edward and the minnesota timberwolves
00:32then on thursday they'll be playing against tyler hero and the milwaukee bucks and for their matchup
00:40with the selfish that one the seventh on the season for them the team's still looking to improve each
00:46time they take the floor now the starting group for the visitors kevin porter is out there with ace
00:52baylor then it's miller then there's paul reed and it's smart and at the small fourth and for the
01:00nuggets inside for him it'll be gordon and jokic in the backcourt we'll see murray and brown and it's
01:07derozan and at the three slot it's always great tipping off a new season isn't it rj what are you
01:13paying attention to at this point of the season most of all i mean there are so many things kevin
01:20how are the new pieces going to fit are the high expectations going to be met i think i'm
01:26interested in who's going to surprise me this season now here's smart following the miss by jokic
01:32nice shot by smart look and if you're the defense you have to honor marcus smart's mid-range jr else
01:39that's exactly what's going to happen and that's how you lead a team literally
01:47the visitors with the ball porter kicks to reed
01:54miller the best to port now here is reed jokic's defending
02:00let's go and misses it off the right side of the rim
02:08and now just over a minute played here in the first
02:11for rosen oh that's blocked
02:14that's the smart
02:18now here is reed
02:24and jokic's with the rebound
02:27nuggets have gone one of three for the field to start this one so far
02:32and derozan with the basket on the assist by murray
02:34goes in there with no doubt derozan fearless
02:39looking at denver they want to turn it around after the loss to the cavaliers
02:42and in terms of intensity they kind of took the night off
02:47it looked like they were just going through the motions
02:50yeah you hate to be critical but that's part of our job
02:53you have to call it the way we see it
02:55that night they were flat
02:57and he gets the whistle
02:58two free throws coming up
03:00and when jokic gets rolling
03:02all the 250 pounds of him
03:04he's a load to try to stop
03:06off the bounce
03:07first trip to the line for him here
03:10taking two shots
03:13and he can't get the first one
03:16i'm told now by our producer
03:17do we have him guys
03:18okay we do
03:19we have a call coming in from shams charania
03:22shams thanks for joining us
03:23what do you have
03:24the big story here guys
03:26is count the nuggets
03:27among those teams grappling with salaries
03:29this is the second summer in a row
03:31where they ended up making a trade
03:33just as much to control payroll
03:35as for the on-court fit
03:36reality nowadays is
03:38acquiring talent is not good enough
03:40you've got to work the numbers to retain it
03:42that's for sure
03:44hey shams thank you very much
03:46now here's to rosa
03:4813 points from him
03:49the last game against cleveland
03:51tougher guard to hang in the paint like that
03:54but not to rosa
03:59smart deciding where to go with it
04:01miller gets to smart
04:05shoots over to rosa
04:07and off the left side of the rim
04:09and it swirls in for him
04:11the nuggets trail
04:16we're about three minutes into this first quarter
04:18on pass to gordon
04:20very pretty alley-a-play-up
04:22several lead changes
04:24going on here in the early portion of this game
04:26it reminds me of that cameo song
04:28back and forth
04:33outside porter
04:35up to the right wing
04:40this one for three
04:41the three-pointer is right on target
04:43porter's got his third basket of the night
04:46good to see porter jr knocking down the triple
04:49needs to keep taking and making those shots
04:53here's murray
04:54in the nugget score
04:56in his bag
04:58knocking down the midi
05:00reads the defense
05:01finds his spots
05:02that's how you do it
05:05and another bucket for him
05:07he's three for three
05:08finishing through contact
05:10always fires you up
05:11smart is really just their spark
05:14might open look here for murray
05:16a three-pointer no good
05:19gone six of eight in the game so far
05:21very solid start for them
05:25here's miller
05:26count that one
05:27he just makes it look so easy on offense
05:31like who takes pleasure in torturing defenses
05:34he does
05:35now here's murray
05:37boy he just disappeared against cleveland
05:40they needed him
05:41brown with it
05:42bailey picks him up
05:43and that one good
05:48gone seven to nine from the field
05:51but a really nice start offensively for them
05:53miller finds bailey
05:54back to miller
05:56over gordon
05:57and there's miller
05:58good that time on the assist from bailey
06:02bailey's got his third assist on the night
06:06the nuggets trail by four
06:09so david adelman decided to call a timeout here
06:12he made the decision to huddle up with his guys and talk about strategy
06:27and the nature of big men in the league has evolved and he's a perfect example of how valuable a
06:35guy like this
06:36can be on your team he's had a tremendous stretch in basketball here lately
06:47pass to johnson
06:49rebounded by bailey
06:52gone eight to ten shooting coming out very strong
06:56deflected
06:56and the ball travels out of his hands
06:58it was last touched by jokic
07:00and that one was close to being picked up
07:03yeah even if you don't get the steal
07:05just interrupting their rhythm has value
07:17miller kicks the quarter
07:22and the bucket is good
07:23three point play chance here for him
07:26you know richard
07:27a rival fashion
07:29for these guys
07:30before a game
07:31has become a big thing in the nba
07:32it's becoming must-see tv
07:35from the moment players step off that bus
07:37i'm not sure all of these looks are ready for prime time
07:40but either way it gets the attention
07:42re-throw good
07:44quarter
07:47the nuggets trail by seven
07:49here's gordon
07:51and it's gordon finishing it off
07:53a constant threat around the rim
07:55gordon is an agile big
07:57who just throws it down
07:59to the lead
08:01porter passes to reed
08:03for jokic
08:04a nice shot by reed
08:05a quality pass
08:07setting up a quality shot
08:08it's just textbook basketball
08:12jokic with the bucket
08:13he's so skilled
08:15on the interior
08:16jokic plays with so much force
08:18and leverage
08:19down low
08:20porter kicks to reed
08:22the kick out to porter
08:24to the wing right side
08:26lets it fly
08:27and brightly gets it to go
08:34here's murray
08:39139 left to play in the first quarter
08:42here's trother
08:43that's in there
08:45murray with the assist
08:46oh what a game
08:48this is shaping up to be
08:49these two teams
08:50trading punches
08:51back and forth
08:52three kicks to marsh
08:55over johnson
08:56marshall gets the bucket
09:01so it's denver now
09:02they trail by seven
09:08murray against porter
09:09porter with a block
09:10sending it back
09:12with postage
09:13postage
09:14this is why every team
09:15is looking to add
09:16length
09:17to its lineup
09:2358 seconds left to play
09:24in the first quarter
09:29here's jokic
09:3014 points from him
09:32the last game against
09:33clinton
09:33and a big part of that
09:35was his aggressiveness
09:36calling contact
09:37and getting to the line
09:39porter passes to ryland
09:44out left to the wing
09:49and yes sir
09:50that goes
09:51and he's two for two
09:52in this first half
09:54they've clearly been
09:55the more efficient team
09:56the coaching staff
09:57has to feel good about this
09:59everything they talk about
10:00in film
10:00everything they've practiced
10:02oh you're seeing
10:03the results tonight
10:04murray
10:04good
10:05and inside murray's
10:07attacking mentality
10:08pays off
10:09he just works hard
10:10to find
10:11his own shot
10:12marshall finds
10:14bailey
10:15and joe gets
10:16with the rebound
10:17you're not going to
10:18see that very often
10:19plenty of space
10:20but he just
10:21let's face it
10:21he whiffs on that
10:22pass to gordon
10:23front pass the arc
10:25head shot
10:26off the mark
10:30the basket's coming
10:31early and often
10:31in the first quarter
10:33up six
10:34and we'll get going
10:35after this
10:36from ball arena
10:52yeah
10:53yeah
10:59yeah
11:00yeah
11:01yeah
11:01yeah
11:09and for those of you just tuning in the second quarter of action is where we're at right now
11:13and looking at what we've seen so far guys from the visiting team what do you think
11:17showing a lot of confidence in their rotation they went right to that bench
11:22when they needed points sometimes you just need a change of pace the bench delivered back
11:33Spencer Jones is out there with Johnson and it's DeRozan then it's Jones and it's Bagley in at the
11:40center that's the group in the game for the Nuggets I thought he had that all sewn up but
11:45somehow the defense just threw him off here's DeRozan it's the front of the rim and out
11:54almost unfair 78 percent from the field we'll see the tempo reading the floor
12:01that'll get you easy buckets can't ask for a better opportunity than that
12:09Jerome against Jones
12:13and it's Bona with the rebound
12:15Greg we know it's tough to face DeRozan for example you don't want to be defending him
12:21out on an island all by yourself
12:23Kevin he is surgical in carving out isolation buckets patient he has that great handle and a leap footwork
12:31now here's Jones no scoring in this one
12:38outside Jones
12:41the Nuggets with another miss
12:44gone two or three from the field here to open the second quarter here's Riley
12:48that one goes in for him too making it look easy he's now four for four
12:53just about a minute and a half has gone by here in the second
13:00Jones looking for an opening
13:03pass to DeRozan
13:09here's Bagley
13:10Riley grabs the miss
13:14gone three of four from the floor here in the second quarter
13:18here's Jerome
13:19that one drops for him
13:22Jerome's got his first points of the night
13:29and so it's Jones he'll bring it up for Denver
13:32in the second quarter held scoreless
13:34they'll be playing host to Chicago for their next game
13:37and that will be the middle game of this three game homestand
13:40so David Adelman's decided to call a timeout here
13:43coach is going to take a few minutes to regroup and go over the strategy
13:50Christian Brown's checked in for the Nuggets
13:53Murray comes in for Jones
13:56here's the 2k leaderboard with last season's best free throw shooting teams
14:00number five the Nuggets
14:02collectively I mean they had an amazing year at the free throw line
14:05sometimes free throw shooting can be contagious
14:09it seemed like everyone on their team had the hot hand
14:14here's Brown
14:15to hold the run
14:16he takes it up and lays it in
14:19Brown's got his second bucket of the night
14:22gotten four of the first five shots to fall in the second quarter
14:25outstanding shooting
14:28pass to Riley
14:29now Porter
14:31shoots it
14:32from the top of the key
14:34he buries it
14:35Porter's got 12
14:36the Nuggets trailed by 14
14:41here's Brown
14:43two free throws coming up
14:44and they call the shooting foul
14:47and RJ as we see more teams switching on screens the so-called ghost screen is gaining popularity
14:55what is that what is the ghost screen that's when the screener fakes like he's coming in to set a
15:00screen but rolls out early it can leave switching defenders very confused
15:06and so he hits both
15:08and we've seen streaming games now taking over
15:11not just for national broadcast but Greg for local ones as well
15:16yeah and with the financial issues of some of the cable's regional sports
15:20the last four was laid for migration
15:24and the NBA's going with the flow
15:30first free throw is good
15:43second free throw no good
15:45the Nuggets trail by 13
15:47and now let's swing it over to Ali LaForce on the sideline
15:51thanks
15:52there's great continuity for the Nuggets
15:54Jamal Murray said it's just years of chemistry
15:56that's why we're such a good team
15:58the way we play
15:59the way we read the game
16:00without even speaking
16:01we talk the language on the court
16:03it's just beautiful basketball
16:05Kevin back to you
16:06all about that connection
16:08all right Ali
16:09thank you for the report
16:11Nuggets have gone just two of eight shooting here in the second quarter
16:15here's Murray
16:16chug up his third bucket right there
16:18now three of five tonight
16:20oh nice job for Murray
16:22using his body to shield off the defender
16:27Riley passes it to Smart
16:28it's good
16:29Smart's got eight points
16:31got it in close
16:33and unless it's an open three
16:34that's the key to efficient offense
16:36to the middle
16:38here's DeRozan
16:39that's in there
16:40Murray with the assist
16:43Murray's got his sixth assist on the night
16:45and they trust Murray
16:47to get the ball where it needs to go
16:49now here is Miller
16:51he picked up 15 points
16:53in the last win against Washington
16:54over Johnson
16:56Miller no luck
16:58the Nuggets trailed by 11
17:02here's DeRozan
17:03he gets it to fall
17:04that makes it just a single digit lead
17:07DeRozan's got four points this quarter
17:09and that's how you execute offensively
17:12Murray with a great job of getting it
17:14to his teammates
17:19he's cracked in for the Nuggets
17:21and let's see some numbers here
17:23on Jamal Murray
17:24last season he played outstanding
17:27and he ranked in the top 15
17:29in points per game
17:30one of the league's premier
17:32offensive threats
17:33and you know
17:34back to his tremendous efficiency
17:35from three last year
17:36top 10 in the league
17:37he's truly a dead-eye shooter
17:39when he gets it going
17:40pass to Reed
17:45here's Porter
17:47gets hauled in by the Nuggets
17:51Johnson with it
17:52now guarded by Porter
17:57Murray outside
18:00launches a three
18:01and the basket for the fourth time
18:03from the field
18:04he's a healthy four for six
18:05and the back home of Murray's game
18:07is that ability to scorch you
18:10from distance
18:12Miller gets to Porter
18:30that free throw
18:43no good
18:44no good
18:45at the strength this time
18:45second misses also
18:47normally he sinks all of his free throws
18:49the defense got lucky there
18:52Johnson dishes to Murray
18:56from deep three-point land
18:57and it's Johnson
18:59that time on the assist
19:00by Murray
19:01Murray's got his eighth assist
19:03here tonight
19:06gone seven of eleven
19:08from the field
19:08in the second quarter
19:09Miller outside
19:10and it's Bailey in the corner
19:14outside Porter
19:15down low
19:17and the dunk firey
19:19and he's been a driving force
19:22for their offense
19:23tonight
19:23throwing some great passes
19:25yeah he continues to make good decisions
19:27with the ball in his hands
19:30here's Brown
19:31he's got eight
19:33cast to Murray
19:36fires at the elbow
19:38and it's Denver
19:39scoring again
19:40the turn
19:41deep bag
19:42gets thrown around a lot
19:44but it certainly applies
19:45to Murray
19:46and you just got to applaud
19:48the mental toughness
19:49of Jamal Murray
19:50a guy who's gone through
19:52injuries and overcome
19:53adversity
19:54he's put in the work
19:55to come back
19:56better than ever
19:57now here's Johnson
20:00nine point game
20:01his last outing
20:02and it's Murray penetrating
20:07Murray against Porter
20:09pass to Bailey
20:12with some arc
20:13good
20:14and a nice assist
20:14from Porter
20:16Porter's got his six
20:18assists on the ninth
20:19the Nuggets
20:19trail by five
20:24here's Brown
20:25here's Jokic
20:27nice fake
20:28with the layup
20:29off the mark
20:31106 left here
20:32in the second
20:34nice shot by Reed
20:36Reed's got four points
20:37now in the court
20:38yeah I love
20:39the communication
20:40and the chemistry
20:41between those teammates
20:44there's Jokic
20:45on the drive
20:46Bagley with the bucket
20:47draw them in
20:49and kick it out
20:49great execution
20:50to open up
20:51an easy look
20:52from outside
20:56Reed with it
20:56picked up
20:57by Bagley
20:59Reed misses
21:00and Murray's got
21:01the ball here
21:02for the Nuggets
21:03it's a five point game
21:09there's 31 seconds
21:10left now
21:11here on the second
21:14diversified scoring
21:16in this one
21:16for him
21:17I love when
21:18everyone can get
21:19involved
21:19a full team
21:21ever
21:21and the basket
21:22by Bailey
21:23and with his
21:24endless length
21:25Ace Bailey's
21:26a good option
21:27down low
21:31Murray with it
21:3211 points
21:33in the game
21:37count it
21:38good
21:38Murray's got
21:3913
21:40I mean if the

23:40go down to
23:41the last
23:41possession
23:42it's been
23:43one outstanding
23:44game from
23:45Jamal Murray
23:45watching him
23:47play
23:47is like
23:48watching a
23:49lion hunt
23:50great patience
23:51and just
23:51waiting for the

25:13is cooking with
25:14grease
25:14he is borderline
25:15unstoppable
25:16and he's
25:17healing it
25:18right now
25:20Reed
25:21picks the
25:21Porter
25:21back to
25:22Reed
25:23looks for
25:24Miller
25:24gets it to
25:25him
25:26Gordon with
25:27the defensive
25:27effort
25:28Denver's gone
25:29five of nine
25:30when they put up
25:30three-point shot
25:31tonight
25:31here's Brown

25:47they've made
25:48three out of
25:48their first four
25:49shots coming out
25:50of the break
25:51Murray for three
25:52got it
25:53number seven
25:54on the night
25:54seven for eleven
25:55from the floor
25:56since the break
25:58they put emphasis
25:59on the three
26:00yeah they got the
26:02memo
26:02in today's NBA
26:03you have to hit
26:04threes to keep pace
26:05here's Brown
26:07it's good
26:08this game is all
26:09even
26:13gone three to five
26:14to start the second
26:15half
26:15developing a nice

26:28got a piece of it
26:33here's Miller
26:34good
26:35and a nice
26:35assist from
26:36Porter
26:36Miller's got
26:38four points
26:38this quarter
26:39as he's
26:40gotten older
26:40we've seen
26:41KPJ
26:42become a
26:43willing passer
26:46here's Murray
26:47that shot is
26:49good
26:49he has made
26:50eight
26:50while missing
26:50only four
26:51that's 67%
26:53shooting
26:53there is no
26:54chance that this
26:55game is tied up
26:56without his
26:57offensive firepower
26:59Porter
26:59lays it up
27:00off the glass
27:01Porter's got
27:0216 points
27:03you want to know
27:04why they're winning
27:04it's because of
27:05his play
27:06offensively
27:08pass to DeRozan
27:10now Gordon
27:12Denver passing
27:13it around
27:16here's Jokic
27:18and no good
27:19some solid
27:20defense from
27:21Reed
27:22Bailey passes
27:23to Porter
27:25Miller kicks
27:26to Smart
27:29and DeMar DeRozan
27:30pulls it down
27:32Denver's got
27:32the three ball
27:33working for them
27:34in the second
27:34they've hit
27:35three out of
27:35three shots
27:36in long range
27:37and there's no doubt
27:38Murray can fill it up
27:39good luck
27:40bringing him down
27:41to earth
27:41when he's on
27:42this kind
27:43of a roll
27:44he's got five
27:45of eight shots
27:45to fall for them
27:46in the third quarter
27:47a nice
27:4862%
27:49for the field
27:51releases
27:52and the basket
27:53by Bailey
27:54he's got eight
27:55neither side
27:56has relented
27:57a bit
27:57in this back
27:58and forth affair
27:59and you can sense
27:59the energy
28:00in the building
28:01already
28:02as this game
28:03is starting to build
28:04towards having
28:05a terrific finish
28:07gone six and nine
28:08from the floor
28:09here in the second half
28:10they've got to be happy
28:11with that
28:11and out of bounds
28:12as the Nuggets
28:13get in possession
28:15and we've got a moment
28:16now to look at the
28:16highest scoring teams
28:17in the NBA
28:18from last season
28:19the Nuggets
28:20number one
28:20yeah number one
28:22in the league
28:23in terms of points
28:24per game
28:24a season ago
28:25they play as a team
28:27just really unselfish
28:28in terms of their
28:29brand of basketball
28:31Johnson
28:31he's checked in
28:32for Christian Brown
28:35and so it's Murray
28:36who brings the ball
28:37up for the Nuggets
28:37they trail by one
28:39pass to Jokic
28:51and that'll be
28:52two free throws
28:52coming up
28:53officials on the call
28:54with the foul
28:55and if you were
28:57to assemble
28:57a first team
28:58all second rounders
29:01Jokic
29:01would be a shoe in
29:03he shot two free throws
29:04in the game
29:04made one
29:05and missed one
29:16and Jokic
29:17rocks them both
29:18and being such a good
29:20passer out of that
29:21five spot
29:21makes Jokic
29:22a double
29:23double machine
29:24Jerome
29:25passes to Reed
29:26it's Miller on the way
29:27over Gordon
29:29and that's Jokic
29:30with the rebound
29:31Jokic

30:03he's got his
30:04fifth rebound
30:05right now
30:05in the game
30:08smart

30:33among the centers

30:34meant to him
30:35Jokic

30:37however his coach
30:38David Adelman

31:42for him
31:42on that

31:44because he
31:45is so
31:45strong
31:46in the paint
31:46to Rosen
31:47chance there

36:42sidelines
36:42hey guys
36:43over that
36:44break I
36:44was able to
36:45catch the
36:45message that
36:46the visiting
36:46team coach
36:47was giving
36:47to his
36:47team
36:48he told
36:48the team
36:49he has
36:49complete
36:49faith in
36:50them
36:50saying
36:51we're right
36:51there
36:52now we
36:52just got
36:52to make
36:53that push
36:53and really
36:54take hold
36:54of the
36:54game
36:55we can
36:55do that
36:56to me
36:56it looks
36:57like his
36:57players
36:57are on
36:58the same
36:58page
36:58with him
36:58guys
36:59back
36:59to you
36:59terrific
37:00Ali
37:00we appreciate
37:01the report
37:06for the
37:07Knuckles
37:07Jokic
37:08he's checked
37:08in for
37:09Marvin Bagley
37:10and DeMar DeRozan
37:11subbed in
37:11for Jamal Murray
37:13and let's get
37:14your check guys
37:15on the scoring
37:15breakdown
37:16for the
37:16Knuckles
37:17all game
37:18long
37:18they've been
37:18making it
37:19rain from
37:19the arc
37:20and look
37:21they've done
37:21it by
37:22feeding the
37:22hot hands
37:23and another
37:24thing
37:25they continue
37:25to work
37:26it inside
37:26and score
37:27it's clear
37:28their game
37:29plan is
37:29attacking the
37:30paint
37:30as much
37:31as possible
37:32pass to
37:32Reed
37:34to take
37:35the lead
37:35and it's
37:36good on
37:36the way
37:37and guys
37:38here in the
37:38fourth quarter
37:39still a close
37:40game
37:40instant
37:40classic
37:41fellas
37:41this one
37:42could come
37:43right down
37:43to the
37:44back to
37:46Gordon
37:47some nice
37:48ball from it
37:49by the Nuggets
37:50a nice
37:50shot
37:51by Brown
37:51you have to
37:53appreciate
37:53the selfless
37:54nature
37:55of Gordon
37:56always looking
37:56to make
37:57the right
37:57play
38:00pass to
38:01Marshall
38:05and it's
38:06good
38:06two points
38:13Denver's
38:14gotten off
38:14four three
38:15corners in the
38:15final quarter
38:16and two of
38:17them a phone
38:18here's DeRozan
38:20and finished
38:20off by DeRozan
38:21this is how DeRozan
38:23is wired
38:24if you let him
38:25oh this man
38:25will light you up
38:26and he's had
38:27a big night
38:27Jerome
38:28passes
38:29to Reed
38:33shoots
38:34Jerome
38:35good
38:35he is built
38:37for these moments
38:38always ready
38:39to stand
38:40and deliver
38:41yeah when things
38:42get tight
38:43it comes down
38:43to who wants
38:44that responsibility
38:45and he certainly
38:46does
38:47Brown's
38:48shot is off
38:50nearly 70%
38:52from the four
38:53they're putting
38:53on a clinic
38:54offensively
38:55the Nuggets
38:56have gone
38:57five of eleven
38:57from the field
38:58in the fourth quarter
38:59and it's Gordon
39:00finishing it off
39:01boy they needed
39:02that one
39:03and Gordon
39:04delivers
39:04his productive
39:05habits
39:06really paid off
39:07there
39:07Jerome
39:08passes to Porter
39:09shoots over
39:10DeRozan
39:11and that one's
39:12good by Porter
39:13Porter's got
39:1420
39:15this team
39:16needed someone
39:17to step up
39:18and it's
39:18Kevin Porter Jr
39:19the former
39:20first round pick
39:21with a huge
39:22basket
39:23and so David
39:24Adelman calls
39:25the timeout
39:26it's a chance
39:27for them
39:27to regroup
39:28and refocus
39:30Murray's checked
39:31in for the Nuggets
39:40and so it's
39:41Murray who brings
39:41the ball up
39:42for Denver
39:45here is
39:46Gordon
39:49oh that was
39:50a two-handle
39:51I think
39:58it's scorching
39:5968%
40:00in the game
40:02Porter
40:02oh the
40:04this young man
40:06is
40:07unreal
40:08I mean
40:09can you
40:09believe that
40:11it's frail
40:16and here is
40:17Murray
40:17and they
40:18double up
40:18Murray
40:21Gordon
40:23that's tipped
40:26here's Miller
40:29he gets it
40:30to go
40:30rate of
40:31baskets
40:32assisted
40:32it's a stat
40:33I really like
40:34it tells the story
40:35of how well
40:35you are playing
40:36team offense
40:39and Murray
40:40here we go
40:41Jokic
40:42a big man
40:44Jokic
40:45huge
40:46Jokic comes
40:48through
40:49just
40:50fearless
40:50what an option
40:52outside Miller
40:54now Bailey
40:56outside Miller
40:59sinks
41:00the big
41:01jumper
41:01this team
41:02really feeds
41:03off of one
41:03another
41:04in terms
41:05of their
41:05energy
41:05yeah the
41:06second half
41:07in stark
41:08contrast
41:08with the first
41:09he's missing
41:10down on him
41:10a little bit
41:14Jokic
41:14and Jokic
41:16will just
41:17torch you
41:17in
41:22order against
41:23Miller
41:25here's Miller
41:26jump deep
41:28and it doesn't
41:29go
41:30there's one
41:3117 left here
41:32in the fourth
41:33quarter
41:33the one is
41:34outguarded
41:35by Smart
41:36yep it's
41:37going to go
41:37in
41:45now Porter
41:50tries it
41:51for 19
41:51and that one
41:52is good
41:53and you gotta
41:54love a guy
41:55with so much
41:56belief in himself
41:57taking things
41:58into his own
41:59hands
41:59you want to
42:00see it
42:01and so David
42:02Adelman calls
42:03the timeout
42:03and he knows
42:05there's no room
42:06for mistakes
42:07and wants everyone
42:08on the same page
42:31Murray outside
42:32Murray outside
42:33now Jokic
42:38now Porter
42:39guys are not going to be
42:41in any rush
42:41on this possession
42:42not with the lead
42:43now's the time
42:44for birds
42:45apart
42:49outside Miller
42:51down to five
42:52on the shot clock
42:55and it misses
42:56and so David
42:58Adelman calls
42:59the timeout
42:59little moment
43:01in this game
43:01he's not taking
43:02any chances
43:03he'll call time
43:04but given the scenario
43:06here
43:07how do you approach
43:08this next possession
43:09I'll be interested
43:11to see what they
43:12drive here
43:13a really hard-caught game
43:14comes down
43:15for this moment
43:16and this is
43:17how to be
43:27that's the Nuggets ball
43:30and here's Jokic
43:35down it
43:37that was so good
43:40they're in front
43:41by the slits
43:42the margins
43:42in need
43:44of a stop
43:44right here
43:46guys
43:47what are their
43:47best options now
43:49they can get
43:50the last shot
43:51if they want it
43:52we'll see
43:53what they come out with
43:54coaches are taking
43:55big thoughts
43:56for moments
43:57like these
44:08here's Bailey
44:13Miller surveying
44:14the floor
44:16Porter
44:18got it
44:19but oh
44:20it looks like
44:20this one
44:21might be reviewed
44:22very personally
44:23at least
44:24and don't start
44:25the celebration
44:26the previous play
44:31this one's over
44:32if the original
44:33ruling of a basket
44:34stands
44:34but we'll see
44:43after the review
44:45the ruling on the floor
44:46is overturned
44:49the officials
44:50have made their decision
44:51the best
44:52as they thought
44:52will count
44:54it took a little while
44:55to check the replay
44:56but they didn't
44:57then
44:57had it right
44:58he got it off
44:59G8 in time
45:00and even though
45:01they had it right
45:02the first time
45:03it's always a smart move
45:05to double check
45:06when it comes to the game
45:08winning shot
45:08you have got to go
45:10to replay
45:11the visiting club
45:12takes the win
45:13on the road
45:13this win
45:15sets a tremendous
45:16emotional boost for
45:17really an accomplishment
45:19and crazy finish
45:20to take a road game
45:22like this
45:22and simply
45:23deflate
45:24an entire building
45:25and that'll wrap it up
45:27folks
45:27along with Greg Anthony
45:29Richard Jefferson
45:30and Alan LaForce
45:32this is Kevin Harlan
45:33thank you so much
45:34for watching
45:34tonight's presentation

45:37let's take a look
45:38at our player
45:39of the game
45:40Kevin Porter
