00:18de la Selva.
00:19Our correspondent Brian Meir brings us the details.
00:24Across Brazil today, hundreds of thousands of people are taking to the streets to rally against the far-right candidacy
00:32of Flavio Bolsonaro,
00:34which is supported by the United States government, by the Silicon Valley tech oligarchs, the international far-right and the
00:42world's richest men and most powerful mining companies.
00:46And in support of Luis Ignacio Lula da Selva, the candidate representing the labor unions, social movements, students,
00:55who is currently polling at a two-to-one ratio among all Brazilian voters making less than two times the
01:01minimum wage.
01:03Here in Recife, 80,000 people came out to see Lula on two days' notice when he came for a
01:10rally right before the first-round election,
01:13which he lost by 1.8 percent to Flavio Bolsonaro, but today the crowd is much larger.
01:19There's a sense of urgency in the air.
01:22There's only two weeks off until the second-round election in which important questions about Brazil's future are going to
01:29be decided.
01:30The use of its natural resources, its weight on the international stage, funding for public health and education.
01:37So here in Recife, as in so many other cities across Brazil, the people are out on the streets yelling
01:44no to Bolsonaro and yes to Lula.
