okay Dream On wrecked me.
short version: Lexington Hall is a huge movie star. He moves to a small town, ends up in a school play, and falls for Stevie St. James — a girl who works shifts and never expected any of it.
then his mother shows up. She's his manager, and she decides Stevie is a problem. So Lex breaks things off and leaves.
not because he stopped loving her. Because he thought it would keep her safe. WITHOUT ASKING HER.
she stays. He goes. That's the whole first half.
and then he comes back years later with a fake-relationship offer. I had to pause.
✨ What worked for me:
The reunion scene. Genuinely couldn't breathe.
Stevie is furious, and she's right.
Lex has to actually earn it back.
✨ Bottom line: watch it, then be sad with me.
did he have the right to decide for her? 👇
