00:47but finding another guy on the other side of Nico Collins has been a must for the Texans.

01:17The problem and the question that I think everybody is asking about Marvin Harrison Jr.
01:22is whether or not he cares about playing football.
01:28Because the one thing since all of us,
01:33you know, when you step onto a playing surface,
01:35a basketball court, a football field, whatever it might be,
01:37when you're six years old,
01:39the one thing your coaches will always tell you,
01:41you can control your effort.
01:43That's it.
01:44You can't control the way the game goes.
01:46You can't control where the ball goes.
01:48You can't control the outcome of the game.
01:50But what you can do is you can control the way you're going to play,
01:56how hard you're going to work.
01:58Your effort is entirely your responsibility.
02:02So if you don't play hard and the tape is so brutal on Marvin Harrison Jr.,
02:09when you watch him run routes for the Cardinals,
02:13he's not even going half speed.
02:15Like he is lally gagging.
02:18He is completely disconnected.
02:21Now, is that Arizona?
02:24Is that the Cardinals?
02:26Or is that Marvin Harrison?
02:28Because to me, I would be really worried about trading for him.
02:33And that's why the trade market completely cratered for him.

02:39they were the only team really active in the trade market.
02:43It was the Cardinals were trying to drum up some level of
02:51negotiating to get the price up for Marvin Harrison.
02:54They took Marvin Harrison with the fourth pick in the draft,
02:59and they got a second round pick back for him.
03:02I mean, this is a guy after two years,
03:04he's not even in the prime of his career yet.
03:06I mean, Marvin Harrison could turn into something tremendous
03:09if he locks in and lives up to the potential.
03:12I mean, how many Ohio State wide receivers have come into the NFL and dominated?

03:22And we thought Marvin Harrison was going to be the best of them all
03:25until Jeremiah Smith comes into the league.
03:27But this guy was supposed to be the combination of size, speed, skill, hands, everything.
03:33He had it all.
03:34Franchise, number one wide receiver, Justin Jefferson type, right?
03:39And he stopped playing.
03:42That's a huge red flag.
03:44That's a huge concern.
03:47For me, for the league, for anybody else to go,
03:50just because he played with CJ Stroud in college,
03:55they're going to be able to run it back?
03:58How long does that go?
03:59For a week, two weeks, a month?
04:01Because that's going to wear off.
04:03Your character is going to show.
04:06You're going to have to show the NFL, the Texans, everybody else,
04:09that you actually are there.
04:11That you're mentally there.
04:13That you want to play football.

04:22Now, does that turn around?

04:50For the Texans, it's very low risk, in my opinion,
04:53for a player that might be something that turns into an epic steal.
