सुप्रीम कोर्ट में 12 अक्टूबर को हुए विरोध प्रदर्शन को लेकर 15 अक्टूबर 2026 को सुनवाई के दौरान माहौल गरमा गया। चीफ जस्टिस ऑफ इंडिया सूर्यकांत और जस्टिस जॉयमाल्य बागची की पीठ के सामने वरिष्ठ वकील गौरव भाटिया और सॉलिसिटर जनरल तुषार मेहता ने कोर्ट परिसर में कथित राजनीतिक नारेबाजी और हंगामे का मुद्दा उठाया। गौरव भाटिया ने बताया कि करीब 200 वकीलों ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट बार एसोसिएशन को पत्र लिखकर अपनी चिंता जताई है। वहीं, CJI सूर्यकांत ने स्पष्ट कहा कि न्यायपालिका को कोई डरा-धमका नहीं सकता और अदालत किसी भी तरह के दबाव में काम नहीं करेगी। इस मामले में राहुल गांधी, मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे, अखिलेश यादव और अन्य विपक्षी नेताओं को नोटिस जारी किए जाने की बात सामने आई है। साथ ही, CCTV फुटेज सुरक्षित रखने और SIR प्रक्रिया से जुड़ी याचिकाओं पर भी सुनवाई हुई। अब सबकी नजर अदालत में दाखिल होने वाले जवाबों पर है।
The Supreme Court witnessed heated proceedings on October 15, 2026, over the protest held inside its premises on October 12. Senior advocate Gaurav Bhatia and Solicitor General Tushar Mehta raised concerns before the bench of Chief Justice of India Surya Kant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi over alleged political sloganeering and disruptions within the court complex. Gaurav Bhatia stated that around 200 lawyers had written to the Supreme Court Bar Association expressing their concerns. Meanwhile, CJI Surya Kant firmly asserted that no one could intimidate the judiciary and that the court would not function under any pressure.
