00:00We wish all of you participating down at the National Games all the very best from here.
00:05We know that you'll do yourselves, your family and your club very, very proud.
00:08So good work. You're going to run hard this morning.
00:11You're going to outpace these coppers. You know that, don't you?
00:14I'm pretty sure you will.
00:18In any event, you know, the cops get a bad rap from time to time
00:21and I want to say that it's probably a very, very difficult job.
00:25It's the most difficult job, I think, in the world, having done it myself for a number of years.
00:29But there's the stuff that gets done behind the scenes for the community
00:33that often goes unreported, it goes unremarked on,
00:36but that has the biggest positive impact on the community.
00:38And being involved and supporting the athletes of Special Olympics is one of those things
00:43and it's a tremendous effort and we appreciate everything you do.
00:46I want to thank the LETR committee who've come all the way down the coast with the flame.
00:50I want to thank Superintendent Paul Smith here for his time and trouble here this morning
00:54and hosting this event and for you people attending.
00:56So let's light the torch that's going to go on the run and get the show on the road.
01:02Superintendent Smith.
01:07The torch has come, or the flame has come all the way down, so don't let it blow out.
