Judge Judy is known for her sharp tongue and no-nonsense attitude, but sometimes a case brings out a very different side of her. When young security guard Willie Morgan reveals that he spent an entire week in jail before the charges against him were dismissed, the judge responds with an unexpected moment of compassion.

On Judge Judy, Judge Judith Sheindlin listens as Morgan describes the frightening experience of being arrested and held in jail. Rather than delivering one of her famous lectures, she acknowledges just how difficult the ordeal must have been for someone so young.
Watch this touching Judge Judy courtroom moment that reminds viewers there's more to the legendary television judge than her quick wit and tough rulings.
