Disillusioned with her husband, Xia Fan (played by Gong Linna) launches a website called "Bao Xi" (Embrace Joy), designed to help women reshape the men in their lives. Tan Guanrong (played by Donnie Yen), a struggling singer currently out of work, finds that his flight-attendant girlfriend (played by Cherrie Ying) fails to understand his predicament. His "Bao Xi" assignment is to pose as a wealthy tycoon and accompany Song Qiubo (played by Sandra Ng)—a singer and victim of domestic abuse—to a party, where they intend to show up her rival.
