00:03Welcome back to The Hemp Cabin or THC for short. If you're new here, I'm Scarlett and we are a
00:09group of magical cannabis enthusiasts of legal age using legal products.
00:14Our meeting videos are more informational and our rituals videos are demonstrations and explanations of various ritual spells and potions
00:22that correspond with things like moon phases and holidays.
00:27If you prefer not smoking, that's fine. I recommend doing your favorite breathing exercise or just taking a few deep
00:33breaths instead.
00:36If you want to join The Hemp Cabin, all you have to do is use the reddit link in the
00:40description to request to join our subreddit.
00:43You must request to join because you must be 21 years or older to join THC.
00:48Our subreddit is the hub of the coven, so that's where all members can share their magic, ask questions, seek
00:58help, make recommendations, post tokes, and more.
01:04In order to begin our meeting, we must first cast a circle. There are many ways to do so, but
01:10what I like to do for our videos is imagine a sphere around me, take a hit, and then imagine
01:16that sphere filling up with my smoke, cleansing and protecting me, and then we will invite the entities that we
01:22want to join us.
01:43The spirit of cannabis, I invoke you.
01:46The spirit of cannabis and餅 in the world in the underworld,Wait markets, have the exposed damage to our minds

02:29Eris, goddess of chaos and discord, I invoke you.
02:50For this week's meeting, we will be discussing the various paths of death witchcraft.
02:56A death witch is a witch who specializes in crossing the bridge between the mortal world and spirit worlds.
03:05This includes end-of-life care, communicating with the deceased, working with deities or entities whose domain relates to death,
03:14traveling to spirit worlds, and potentially even causing death.
03:20Of course, for legal reasons, I cannot condone bringing death upon others, but it will be mentioned because it is
03:28an option.
03:30There are a lot of paths in witchcraft, and each one branches off into more specific paths.
03:37So, I'm going to list the main paths of death witchcraft, along with brief descriptions of their focuses.
03:46Now, let's get started.
03:48Number one is end-of-life care.
03:52Death witches who choose the end-of-life care path help people who are dying and their loved ones.
03:59They help to settle things that need to be settled in the mortal world in order for their soul to
04:05move on.
04:07They help those who are dying to transition to living in whichever spirit world their soul will go to.
04:15They are essentially the mortal aids to the entities and deities that guide souls to their afterlives.
04:25These witches aim to prevent souls from becoming restless when the body dies,
04:32and to ensure that they get settled into their afterlives.
04:37This is highly important and admirable work.
04:42One of the most common titles of these witches is the death doula.
04:47Number two is ancestor witch.
04:52Many witches work with ancestors through methods such as communication, ancestor healing, and building shrines.
05:01Contrary to popular belief, ancestors do not have to be from your bloodline.
05:06An ancestor is any soul of a deceased person, and they don't even have to be human.
05:13The ancestors that I work with are my mom and my two dogs.
05:19I have a framed picture of my mom next to two Funko Pops of the Pokemon that my dogs were
05:28most like.
05:29The evolved forms, of course, because they have evolved or passed on,
05:36which are Arcanine and Ninetales.
05:40If you know Pokemon, you know those.
05:42They're cute.
05:43I love them.
05:45They are overlooking my altar from atop the cabinet next to it
05:52because there wasn't enough space on the actual altar,
05:55so the top of the cabinet is the sort of overflow area.
06:02However, it does work because they're looking down on it,
06:06so it actually works out really well.
06:07Anyway, another example of a type of ancestor witch is a medium,
06:14which is a witch who communicates with spirits and entities.
06:19Another one you may have heard of is a necromancy,
06:23which is essentially using divination to communicate with the dead,
06:30usually looking for some kind of deeper meaning or higher message, things like that.
06:36However, it is worth noting that the word necromancy has Greek roots,
06:41so some necromancers prefer to be categorized as mediums or other forms of ancestor witch.
06:50Number three is afterlife witch.
06:53Afterlife witch focuses on magic relating to spirit worlds.
06:58I believe there are different terms for different worlds,
07:01but since I work with the Hellenic underworld, I am a chthonic witch.
07:07Chthonic is a Greek term that means relating to the underworld or under earth.
07:13As a chthonic witch, I do things like work with chthonic deities and astral travel to the underworld.
07:23I have a very deep connection with the underworld, but I won't go into that in this video.
07:29Maybe sometime in the future or in our subreddit.
07:33However, I have discussed Hades being my patron god and Nyx being my matron goddess in previous videos.
07:43I also made a meeting video about matron and patron deities,
07:48but I think that video might be on YouTube, so I'm not sure if it's still up.
07:54Anyway, as witches, we have the ability to work with any pantheon or spirit world,
08:03regardless of pre-existing personal conditions.
08:08We can even work with deities from different pantheons simultaneously.
08:14Number four is a death deity witch.
08:18While this could be considered part of being an afterlife witch,
08:23it has enough nuances and specifics to be considered its own path.
08:28As it sounds, a death deity witch works with deities whose domains focus on death.
08:35For the Hellenic pantheon, this would be Thanatos, the god of peaceful death,
08:40the koress, which are daemons of violent death and disease,
08:46or the moirai, which are the fates.
08:50This can also include working with death as a force or source of magic.
08:57Number five is poison witch.
08:59As the name suggests, poison witches work with poisons.
09:04This is also a path of green witchcraft because poison witches often work with poisonous plants.
09:12This does not always have to be malicious.
09:15Some poisons can actually be helpful in very small doses.
09:21However, poison witches also work with poisons in ways that do not include consumption of any kind,
09:28such as sacrificial use.
09:32Number six is bone witch.
09:35A bone witch works with bones in various ways.
09:39They can be used for divination, potions, sacrifices, spells, curses, potions, and other ritualistic ways.
09:48Some witches cast bones into a fire and read the results.
09:53Some witches draw symbols, letters, numbers, or words on them.
09:58Some draw them from a bag or cauldron.
10:01Some use them to connect with the deceased.
10:05Some use them to connect with deities or entities.
10:10Some use them as symbols.
10:11Some study them scientifically and magically.
10:15They can be used to stir potions or just added to potions.
10:20I'm sure we all know the tradition of breaking the wishbone during feasts,
10:27which is a ritual that even non-magical people participate in.
10:32Those are the main paths of death witchcraft, but if you know any that I missed,
10:38please inform us in the comments or in our subreddit.
10:41All paths of witchcraft are sacred journeys,
10:45but the death witch path is essential for minimizing the amount of souls that become the restless dead,
10:53ancestor healing, dealing with grief, and understanding the complexities of death and spirit worlds.
11:01Since this video is more of an introduction to the main paths of death witchcraft,
11:07that's all the information that I have for you today.
11:10So let's thank the entities that join us and dissolve our circle.
11:19Thank you, Spirit of Cannabis.
11:22Thank you, Thanatos.
11:23Thank you, Hades.
11:25Thank you, Persephone.
11:27Thank you, Hecate.
11:28Thank you, Hermes.
11:30Thank you, Styx.
11:31Thank you, Charon.
11:33Thank you, Makaria.
11:34Thank you, Melano.
11:36Thank you, Eris.

12:02If you want to join the Hemp Coven, all you have to do is use the Reddit link in the
12:07description to request to join our subreddit.
12:10You must request to join because you must be 21 years or older to join THC.
12:16If you want more content from me, the description has links to my Patreon and Instagram.
12:21Patrons get bonus content and access to a private Discord.
12:26If you're looking for a high-quality vape, hot knife, torch, or electric grinder, the description has my link to
12:34YoCan.
12:35They make vapes for cartridges, dry herb, and concentrates.
12:39I have the Orbit 2.0.
12:42I fucking love her.
12:44I named her Pam after Poison Ivy.
12:47And she is so nice.
12:49She is a concentrate vape.
12:51And she has a brilliant design.
12:55Seriously, guys, check it out.
12:56This is, like, something I'm...
12:59This is a design that I haven't seen before, and I've had a few dab vapes before this.
13:05So definitely check out the Orbit 2.0 if you like dabs on the go.
13:13I did not mean to rhyme that, but hey, it works.
13:17If you missed our previous videos, the description has links to our Daily Motion playlist and my YouTube channel.
13:24My YouTube channel has our older videos, but they blocked me from posting and started taking down those videos
13:31because they suddenly decided that you can no longer use the word hemp in titles.
13:36So I changed all the titles of the videos that are on YouTube to, say, the H Coven.
13:42So hopefully that will prevent them from being taken down, but I highly recommend checking those out as soon as
13:49you can, just in case.
13:51I do not have the footage backed up, but I do have the scripts, so if I need to, I
13:59can revisit those topics in the future.
14:01But I still recommend checking them out because I worked hard on all of these videos and also because it's
14:10nice to kind of see how my process and systems have changed over time
14:19and over the, I think, a little bit over a year that I've been doing this.
14:26So, yeah, please check out my YouTube channel while you can.
14:31Again, thank you so much for watching.
14:34Stay spooky and magical, and I will see you in the comments and in our subreddit.
