02:26weed. Salmon means summer's in and it occurs on October 31st and November 1st. It marks the
02:36transition from the fertile sunny seasons of spring and summer to the cold dead seasons of
02:44autumn and winter. It is the final harvest before winter. It is the time to focus on death,
02:54the dead, spirit worlds, inner work, and rest before rebirth. The final harvest is a very special
03:03occasion. During the final harvest, it is a time to gather the final round of ripe fruits and
03:11vegetables and discard of those that need to be discarded. This is also a time for the blood
03:18harvest, which is when a farmer would decide which animals to slaughter in order for everyone to
03:26survive winter. So it is a time of great sacrifice. During Salmon, the veil between this world and
03:35others is thin, which makes crossing it much easier. Crossing the veil occurs when you do work that
03:44focuses on death, the dead, spirit worlds, and death-related beings. For more information,
03:53I recommend checking out Halloween part one. Now let's get into my suggestions for rituals to do
04:00for Halloween. Number one is glamour magic. I mentioned this in part one, so I won't go into
04:06too many details, but one of the main traditions of Halloween is of course the costumes. As you can
04:13see, I'm wearing my Hades costume. I've even got my Biden here that we'll be using later. Whether
04:21you're doing a full cosplay, painting yourself with body paint, putting on special makeup, wearing masks,
04:28or just wearing special ritual attire, glamour magic can take your rituals to the next level.
04:36Number two is a ritual fire. Salmon is the most important fire festival. You can set up a fire pit,
04:45fireplace, or fire safe dish. You can ritualistically add sacrifices like herbs to the fire. You can also
04:55read the flames or the smoke. Number three, ecstatic dance. During Salmon, it is important to express
05:03yourself and to exercise spiritual freedom. Ecstatic dance is a great way to do both. I recommend
05:12stretching first and then getting the music ready. Play your music as loud as you can without experiencing
05:20interruptions. Clear as much space as you need. Play your music and dance. Don't worry about doing
05:27any particular type of dance. Just do what feels right in the moment. Let your body move itself to
05:35the music while your mind relaxes and your soul expresses itself. Number four, create spooky art to
05:43honor the dead deities or the season. Creating art for someone or something is a great way to honor
05:51them. You can make something inspired by a spirit world like the Hellenic underworld. You can make art of
05:58a deity of death, rebirth, or spirit world. You can make a portrait of an ancestor. I recently made portraits
06:08of my two deceased dogs and it was a great way to both ease my grief and celebrate their liberation
06:17from
06:18the constraints of mortal life. They don't have to deal with fleas anymore. They can eat whatever they
06:24want, even chocolate, and they have so much fun running through the Elysian fields. Number five is
06:32sacrifices. It's always a good time for sacrifices, especially now. You can sacrifice food, herbs, incense,
06:41smoke, fire, beverages, candles, moon water, stones, and more. Be sure to state what or who you are giving
06:51this sacrifice to. Also, make sure that any food or beverage offerings are safe for any creatures that may
07:00try to consume them or just keep them safely away from such creatures. For every holiday, I do a
07:09bleeding candle ritual where I sacrifice two bleeding candles to various beings and forces of each holiday.
07:20Bleeding candles are essentially one color on the outside and like a red on the inside so as it melts
07:29the wax. The wax that's coming down is red so I actually have the wax built up on my altar.
07:39Number six is
07:40blood magic. I did a whole meeting video on blood magic recently so I'll keep this brief. Blood magic is
07:48very
07:48powerful magic that binds the owner of the blind. I recommend saving gauze from bandages whenever you get a
07:56bloody injury, have a bloody injury, have a blood drawn, get an injection, or get an IV. As someone with
08:03chronic illnesses, I have to get blood drawn pretty often so I always save the gauze from it for magical
08:10purposes. You do not have to use actual blood. Sometimes a substitute that represents blood can work, though it
08:22may not be quite as strong as if you use real blood. A good example of this is many people
08:29use wine instead of blood. You can also collect blood from raw meat while you're cooking if you eat meat.
08:38Number seven is shadow work. I also made a meeting video about shadow work but basically shadow work is inner
08:47work
08:47that focuses on the shadow self. The shadow self is the side of you that's usually hidden from the rest
08:54of the world. Shadow work aims to heal the parts that need healing and to embrace and reclaim the shadow
09:02self to become a more complete being. Number eight is feast. Samhain is a feast holiday. A feast does not
09:11have to
09:12be fancy or any particular type of food. You could feast on chips or candy if you want. As long
09:20as you are
09:21enjoying the food, celebrating and indulging, you are feasting. Make whatever kind of feast you want. You can
09:30invite others or have it by yourself. If you want company but don't have anyone to join you, you can
09:39always
09:39chat in our subreddit or play one of my videos and I'll be here to celebrate with you. You can
09:48also invite
09:49any deities, entities, or spirits that you would like. Number nine is divination to communicate across
09:56the veil. Divination is the art of recognizing and interpreting messages for various purposes.
10:04I recommend using it for communicating with spirits, deities, and entities beyond the veil.
10:12You can read cards, tea leaves, fire, smoke, and more. I recently made a full meeting video on
10:20divination. That's kind of an introduction. So I recommend checking that video out if you're
10:26unfamiliar and want some more information. Number 10 is astral projection to spirit realms.
10:33The thinning of the veil makes traveling to spirit realms easier than usual. If you don't know,
10:41astral projection is essentially traveling outside of your body. You can travel to other worlds,
10:48places in this world, and more. I plan to make another trip to the underworld tonight if I am able
10:55to.
10:56Number 11 is a spell to welcome winter. Finally we're doing a spell. Surprisingly I think this is
11:05the only one for this video. It's time to say goodbye to summer and hello to winter. On a small
11:12piece of
11:12paper write something like welcome winter or summon winter. If you want to burn herbs or incense I recommend
11:21cinnamon cinnamon or mint. If you want to light a candle I recommend white, light blue, or black depending
11:28on which one represents winter for you. Light your paper and herbs in a fire safe dish. Light your candle
11:37and say whatever magic words come to you. So here we go. And instead of a wand this time I've
11:49got my Bidens.

12:46Number 12 is spooky kitchen witchery. This one can go along with the feast suggestion if you want.
12:53Anything that you cook or bake can be turned into a potion with clear intention,
13:00acknowledgement of the magical properties of the ingredients, and some magic words or magic music.
13:09I plan to make brownies tonight while I edit this video. You can also add things like moon oil,
13:18honey, honey, or water. If you use moon water, make sure that it is filtered or tap water.
