00:00Cracked, buzzing, or dead-silent MacBook speakers?
00:03Yeah, that's one of those repairs people put off for months, because they assume it's expensive.
00:08It isn't.
00:10I went through the listings and found the best deals on laptop speakers every MacBook repair
00:15DIYer needs, all under $11.
00:18Let's go.
00:19First one, speakers for the 13-inch Retina A1425, the 2012 and early 2013 models, EMC 2557
00:28and 2672.
00:30Left and right side, direct replacement, plug-and-play harness.
00:35$6.02.
00:37Over 4,400 sold, 4.7 stars.
00:41That's the exact part people fight to find cheap, and this one's already proven by thousands
00:46of installs.
00:47If you've got an A1425 with one-side rattling, grab it.
00:52Next, the 13-inch A1278 Speakers for 2009-2012, MC700 and MD101.
01:00This is the cheapest one on the list at $4.43, and it's still sitting at 4.7 stars with
01:06over
01:064,000 sold.
01:08Classic unibody machine, super common, and the speakers are honestly the first thing
01:13to go.
01:14At this price, ordering a set just to have on the shelf is a no-brainer.
01:18Same chassis, different option, A1278 Speakers for 2011 and 2012, MC700, MD101, MD313, MD102.
01:30786 gets you the full pair, or you can buy just the left or just the right, which is
01:34nice if only one side died.
01:374077 sold, 4.7 stars.
01:41Few bucks more than the last one, but if you want to pick a single side instead of buying
01:45both, this is the listing.
01:47Now, this next one's my favorite.
01:50A 1502 Retina Speakers, but it also includes the back cover screws and the rubber feet.
01:561099, and it's a 5-star product with over 4,000 sold.
02:00Here's why that matters, you're already pulling the bottom case, and those little feet fall
02:05off and those screws strip.
02:06Getting all of it in one order means one shipment, one teardown, done.
02:111099 for speakers plus the small stuff you'll lose anyway.
02:15Last one covers the most ground.
02:1813 and 15-inch, fits a 1278, a 1286, 1502, a 1425, and a 1398.
02:27699, 4.8 stars, over 3,000 sold.
02:31If you fix MacBooks for other people, or you're not totally sure which model you've got, this
02:36is the one that keeps you covered across a bunch of machines.
02:40Highest rating on the list, and the widest fit.
02:43Every link is in the description below, so pick the one that matches your model number
