Malooti is a small village in Shikaripara block, Dumka district, Jharkhand, India. Known as the Gupt Kashi of Jharkhand, it once had 108 temples built between 1720-1840 by Raja Baz Basant, who was originally a farmer. Only 72 temples survive today.
This village is a hidden gem of Jharkhand tourism, famous for its terracotta temples similar to Bengal style.
