00:53Isn't it exciting, Dennis?
00:55Going across the famous Tower Bridge
00:57On the way to the Tower of London
00:58Oh yeah, ain't it fantastic Penny
01:01Don't forget, we've got to make notes
01:03Our teacher's expecting us to make
01:05A school project out of our physics
01:06Don't worry, I've read all about it
01:09For instance, Tower Bridge
01:11It was built in 1886
01:12By the City Corporation
01:14Hey, what's that bell ringing for?
01:16Crumbs, it's a long way down to the water, Penny
01:18Oh heck, that bell is to say
01:20They're going to raise the drawbridge
01:22Come on Dennis, run for it
01:23Or we shall fall off the bridge into the river
01:25Hey you kids, come off that bridge
01:27Stop messing about
01:28Come off I say
01:30We're coming, Constable
01:31Dennis was just looking at the river
01:33Where are you two going?
01:35I don't want you getting into trouble on my beach
01:37We're going to the Tower of London
01:39To work on our school project, Constable
01:41Yes, if we don't do it, we'll get lines
01:44Well, there's the Tower of London
01:46Off you go
01:47And see that you both behave yourselves
02:02This is the Royal Fortress and Palace of the Tower of London
02:06Its central keep, the White Tower
02:08Was built by William the Conk in 1078
02:11Oh Penny, you are clever
02:14Within these walls, the blood of many illustrious prisoners were shed
02:18Good gracious, you are knowledgeable, my dear
02:21You seem to know so much about the Tower
02:23We could hire you as a guide
02:25Oh yes, Mr Beefeater, sir
02:28I've read everything there is to read about the Tower of London
02:30History is my favourite subject
02:32Next to art, that is
02:34Well, don't go drawing on any of our walls, young lady
02:37We don't want any graffiti here
02:39We've got enough on our hands guarding the crown jewels
02:43Don't worry Mr, Dennis and I won't touch the crown jewels
02:46I just want to draw them for my school project
02:48See those two ravens sitting on the wall there?
02:51They guard the crown jewels
02:54They look dangerous
02:56Come on Dennis, look, there's the Lion House where Henry the First kept his pet lions
03:01Oh, and over there is a bell tower where Elizabeth the First imprisoned her sister Mary
03:07Crikey!
03:08And this is the White Tower where the armouries in their present state date back to Henry the Eighth
03:13Armour Penny? Does that mean swords and shields and knights in armour? Let's go and look
03:18Come on then, but watch out for ghosts
03:21Ghosts, Penny?
03:25Ghosts?
03:26The ghost of Colonel Blood, who in 1671 tried to steal the crown jewels and failed
03:32He came to a sticky end and his ghost walked the halls of the White Tower
03:36Look, there's his portrait
03:39En garde! En garde! I am the finest swordsman in London
03:43Oh do be careful Dennis, we don't want any accidents
03:46Oh crumbs! Oh sorry Penny, I didn't mean it
03:50I told you to be careful, now look what you've done
03:53Quickly, take the torn picture out and hand me the frame, I'll redraw the picture on this wall
03:59Now put that sword down and stick close to me Dennis, I don't want any more accidents
04:23Now you understand the plan, as soon as we find the crown jewels, I smash the glass, you grab them
04:29and stuff them into these two sacks
04:32Don't worry Gov, you can count on me, you smash and I'll grab
04:38Wack, robbers, thieves
04:40Right, now let's go and ask somebody where the crown jewels are and do the job
04:46I must draw somebody to give them the wrong directions
04:49I'll draw a guard on this wall
04:57He should keep them occupied for a while
04:59Meanwhile, Dennis and I must warn the guards
05:01Come on Dennis, shh, quietly sneak out
05:06Hey mister, I've just heard two robbers in there, planning to steal the crown jewels
05:12Overheard it you say, and where was this robber little girl?
05:16Over there in the white tower, robbers!
05:19No, no, no, no, no
05:21What you heard was our friend the ghost of Colonel Blood
05:25He's always sending people out on a wild goose chase
05:28Have one of my big sandwiches
05:30Wack, he doesn't believe us Dennis
05:32Come on, let's go to the jewel house before they do
05:36I've had enough of this
05:37Hey you, I asked you to show us the crown jewels
05:41We're just walking round in circles
05:43He looks half asleep to me, Gov
05:46This'll wake him up
05:52Where did the guard go? He just vanished
05:55He was just having us on, Gov, leading us on the wild goose chase, so to speak
06:01Take the word of Colonel Blood, and walk as softly as a mouse
06:07Cross the broad walk for the jewels, and they'll be waiting in a house
06:12Crikey, let's get out of here, it's haunted
06:15At least the ghost has told us where the jewels are, Gov, this way
06:26Take that cape and cover up the crown jewels, Dennis, while I draw them on this wall
06:30Oh, listen Penny, somebody's coming up the stairs
06:34The robbers must have found the jewel house, quickly, I'll draw the next bit for our escape
06:38Look, the crown jewels, they've left them out of their cases, we don't have to smash
06:44Just grab, lovely grab, this must be worth the fortune
06:50Easy pickings, yeah, too easy for my liking
06:55Oof, that was close, Dennis, but they didn't see us
06:58You saved the real crown jewels, Penny, oh, you are clever
07:02Come on, let's see how they intend to make their getaway, maybe the beef eaters will believe us now
07:08Look, the two black ravens believe us, they're chasing the rivers
07:13Down these steps, quick, there's a gate leading to the river
07:16Is that where the getaway boat is? Hurry up, these birds scare me
07:22They're making a getaway through Traitor's Gate, come on, let's follow them
07:26It leads to the river, Penny, they must have a getaway boat
07:31They've escaped, Penny, we won't catch them now
07:34Oh, yes we will, I'll draw us a boat with my special waxed waterproof crayon
07:38But they've got an outlaw boat, Penny
07:44And we've got a powerful speed boat, jump in
07:52Crikey, look what's after us, I didn't see that boat tied up the quayside, it's fast
07:57Look, it's going to circle us, it'll turn us over if it ain't careful
08:08Oh dear, the jewels, they've vanished
08:12They seem to melt as they hit the water, we've had it
08:16Look, here comes a police launch
08:22My drawings of the crown jewels were washed out by the water, Dennis
08:25I fell with a robber by the look of them, Penny
08:30Thanks you two, we've had our eyes on these two shady characters for months
08:35By the way, watch your speed, there's a speed limit on this river, you know
08:46Give them a blast on our hooter, Dennis, and see what happens
08:57Now we've really got something to write about in our school project, Dennis
09:00It'll be a real gem, Penny
09:04A real gem, Dennis
09:06Oh, that's a good one
09:09Oh, quick, give them another blast on the hooter
