Wodonga GP and Benambra independent candidate Lachlan McKeeman lays flowers outside Helen Haines' office, after the attack on the Indi MP on Monday, October 19.
The event happened just two days after Dr Haines gave Dr McKeeman her endorsement for his campaign, as the two have remained close friends over the years during their joint advocacy for the region.
