05:23I really wanted to bring this awesome broom to life.
05:26So we made this chocolate clay, which is a high quality chocolate mixed with a lot of cocoa butter.
05:32And what you do is you just add it to a food processor, blend it up and it turns to
05:36this sculptable chocolate clay.
05:38So I rolled it into a long tapered stick and added a few bends and twists to make it look
05:43witchy.
05:44We add some texture to get that like weathered witchy look.
05:47The next layer of detail is painting it black.
05:50We're still working with chocolate here.
05:52So you got to be very careful about the pressure that you're applying.
05:56Black gives such a nice coverage.
05:58Once this gets placed into the scene, I mean there's like legit no way that they're going to guess this.

09:18But since this is chocolate, we can't use a ton of water.
09:22The water will make the chocolate really soft.

09:35The sponge is helping me to spur some of the weight and smooth it out.

09:46This is actually a technique I saw on the internet.
09:49We're going to be learning together here because it's my first time doing it too.
09:52You get a bag of soft vanilla buttercream, put on a round tip, and you're supposed to
09:57press up and down.
09:59It kind of looks like an unpopped kernel.
10:00I'm wanting the buttercream to kind of go around and up the piping tip.
10:05And it creates that bulbous little kernel shape.
10:08They look really fluffy like popcorn.
10:10So, I'm just going in now to paint in the little crater in the middle, which is where
10:13the piping tip was.
10:14And now I have a mix of like a mustard color, a rust color, and a brown.
10:19I'm going to use those as layering colors for these kernels to bring them to life and
10:24make it look like real popcorn.
