00:00Now, six years of hard work, gone in one single night.
00:04That's the reality for Odelia Sitbon, a pharmacist near Paris' Place de la République.
00:08Last Saturday, rioters smashed through her shop, looting her stocks and setting it ablaze.
00:14Left with empty shelves, shattered glass and financial concerns about how to raise her three kids,
00:19Odelia shared her story with Euronews' Valérie Torquia.
00:22The amount of damage is huge. Everything is destroyed.
00:26The entirety of it is nothing like stocks.
00:28They've burned everything.
00:29There-hauts, they've burned everything, so I don't understand how we can burn a building
00:33while there are houses on top of it.
00:34There-hauts, it's the reserve of my pharmacy, and despite the fact that there's still
00:38stock there-hauts, there would be a lot of money, but they've burned everything.
00:42Everything, everything, everything, everything.
00:44In fact, at which moment, in fact, because the life is expensive, it's just because it's easy to pay.
00:52The moral limit, there's no limit.
00:54To say that we've worked for six years, that I've been in this pharmacy for six years,
00:58when I was installed, I was enceinte for seven months.
01:00And so I came to work two weeks after my accouchement.
01:04Two weeks.
01:04Why? Because I wanted to assure a service, I wanted to be there, I wanted to be there,
01:08I wanted to be present, we were at the beginning of the confinement.
01:09But that, they don't have nothing to do.
01:11They've got a ballon of hot water.
01:13They've got my lustre.
01:15On the clavichère, on enlève the lustre.
01:17On the clavichère, on the clavichère, on the pète a robot.
01:19Well, it's about 150.000 balles, a robot of pharmacy.
01:21And to my opinion, it's over.
01:23I haven't seen it with the thing, because I can't even allumer the electricity,
01:26because they've got all my electricity, which I've got 15.000 balles to do.
01:29And the police, no one of us protected us.
01:31We told them that there was more than we.
01:33To see the work of his life destroyed like that, it's worse.
