01:03Now, to America, all these people came here to see PWGs Anniversary Show.
01:13and then advertised that the main event

01:21for the championship

02:39You talk to him, you talk to me.
02:51Bryan Daneson storms the ring after El Generico and Kevin Steen just won the PWG World Tag Team titles.
02:59And he demanded a title shot from El Generico.
03:02Bryan Daneson, of course, from Russell Necro Butcher earlier on in the evening.
03:05El Generico just finished with knocking Roderick Strong.
03:09And these two men are just going out.
03:11Oh, my God, El Generico knocking Bryan Daneson out of the ring.
03:16I tell you, unbelievable.
03:18And El Generico, oh, my God, going up and over the top.
03:24This is unbelievable. Bryan Daneson with his head bandage
03:27after that brutal encounter with Necro Butcher earlier on in the evening.
03:30And El Generico, his adrenaline is still pumping after winning the PWG World Tag Team titles.
03:38And this is unbelievable.
03:40Never before, Disco Machine, have we had something like this at PWG.
03:43And how fitting that it were to take place at the Giant Size Annual No. 4,
03:47celebrating the fourth anniversary of PWG with the PWG World Tag Team Champion and World Champion El Generico.
03:55Oh, my God.
03:56El Generico taking on Bryan Daneson.
03:59And Daneson after powerbombing Generico down viciously.
04:03Has him in the single leg crowd and is just shrinking back on the double champion El Generico.
04:09Literally minutes after seconds after winning the PWG World Tag Team titles.
04:15El Generico forced to defend the world title.
04:19And American Dragon Bryan Daneson has him right in the middle of the ring.
04:24This is unbelievable.
04:25He's got a submission right here.
04:26El Generico making his way over.
04:28One small correction, Disco Machine.
04:29He was not forced.
04:31El Generico chose to defend the PWG World Title tonight against Bryan Daneson.
04:36He didn't have to.
04:37It could very well have been put off until October after the 2007 Battle of Los Angeles.
04:43But El Generico, the fighting champion, truly the people's champ,
04:47putting the title on the line against Bryan Daneson tonight.
04:50And both men have wrestled previously in the evening.
04:53Oh, no.
04:53Bryan Daneson with a headbutt to the side of Generico's head.
04:56That heavily bandaged head of Bryan Daneson already taking quite a bit of punishment
05:01from Necro Butcher earlier on in the evening.
05:03Now taking more punishment at his own hands as he headbutts El Generico.
05:08And he's standing on the face of El Generico trying to crush the skull of the PWG World Champion.
05:14But I have to think that El Generico, when he was talking to the PWG Commissioner,
05:20you know, when would he possibly have been telling him,
05:23Hey, I don't have to defend this title.
05:27I've already had my obligations.
05:29But Bryan Daneson forced the match.
05:31And Dino Winwood actually became Dean.
05:34I don't think Dino Winwood had anything to do with it.
05:37I think after Bryan Daneson slapped El Generico, if Generico really wanted to,
05:41he could have left the ring.
05:42He didn't have to defend his title tonight.
05:45And that just goes to show what a fighting champion El Generico is.
05:49But right now, it looks like Generico could be paying the price.
05:52And Bryan Daneson has got him up in the flying surfboard on the Romero Special.
05:56As he's got Generico cranked back.
05:59You can see all the pressure being put on not only his shoulders, but his knees.
06:01And now Danielson cranked and just wrenches him back.
06:04Wrenches his head back into the dragon sleep with Generico though.
06:07Not ready to give up yet.
06:09But Danielson just inflicting punishment not only on the knees,
06:13but now the spine, the lower back, and the pelvis of El Generico.
06:18And now he just pulls him down by his nose and drops the knee across the bridge of El Generico's
06:23nose.
06:23El Generico, here it is, the cover.
06:26And just look at the eyes of Bryan Daneson.
06:29I mean, all that frustration from previous title shots.
06:33The title shot's taken away from him.
06:35Yeah, and now he has it.
06:37I mean, man, talk about a king face.
06:39The man has come on a mission here to dismantle El Generico.
06:45Oh, just.
06:46Hard slap just evaporating through the building here.
06:50And Generico with a second slap.
06:52Oh, Bryan Daneson.
06:54Bryan Daneson is frustrated, as you said, Disco Machine.
06:58But El Generico is up in the corner.
07:01Bryan Daneson is just punishing the PWG World Champion.
07:04The rolling soul butt catches Generico right in the chest, the center of the chest,
07:09as he's shot pillars opposed by Danielson.
07:11Danielson charges in, but receives a back elbow for his trumpet.
07:13Generico up on the middle rope.
07:15Daneson gets a boot.
07:16Generico springs off.
07:18Eye cross, body block, hook the leg.
07:20Two.
07:20Two count only, says referee Rick Notch.
07:22And Bryan Daneson always getting to his feet.
07:26But El Generico corners him right there.
07:29Rips that bandage off.
07:30And goes out for that open, exposed wound from that earlier match with Necro Butcher.
07:35Now whipping Dwayne Daneson in.
07:38A back flip over.
07:39Discused elbow misses.
07:40El Generico, the Blue Thunder Powerball.
07:43One.
07:43Two.
07:44Two count only.
07:45Bryan Daneson kicks out El Generico.
07:48Showing a bit of his vicious side here.
07:50Showing how much he wants to be, how much he wants to remain the double champion.
07:54After he tore that bandage off from Bryan Daneson's head, you can see that vicious gash
07:58over Bryan Daneson's left eye.
08:01Thanks to Necro Butcher.
08:03But now El Generico is taking advantage of the damage that Necro has already dished out.
08:08And he chops him in the chest.
08:10Oh, but Generico going for that trademark swinging DDT.
08:13But Bryan Daneson pulling him in with those hard elbow shots to the side of the head.
08:16Generico repeatedly chopping up Bryan Daneson.
08:19Now going up to the top closer to swinging DDT.
08:22And lands Bryan Daneson down.
08:24Daneson slowly gets up to his feet.
08:26But he catches him with a back truck driver.
08:29El Generico driven into the canvas hard.
08:32Generico charges in with a big flying boot.
08:34But Daneson, he's on spaghetti legs.
08:38But he still maintains his vertical base.
08:40Generico maintaining his vertical base.
08:42These two men trading shots in the center of the ring.
08:44Going back and forth.
08:46Danielson and Generico back and forth.
08:49Back and forth.
08:49Now Danielson, or Generico getting...
08:52Oh, Danielson knocks him down.
08:55Hooks the leg.
08:56Two.
08:56Two.
08:56Oh my goodness.
08:59Oh my goodness.
08:59And Bryan Daneson and El Generico.
09:01The fans just loving every second of this match.
09:05And they are getting...
09:06Who are they firmly behind?
09:08It's hard to say.
09:09There's no clear favorite in this match.
09:12Half the fans want to see El Generico retain the title.
09:15Half the fans want to see Bryan Daneson walk away with the PWG World Championship.
09:18It is all up to these two men.
09:21Diving headhook.
09:22But El Generico gets his knees up.
09:24And I believe that left side of the head came crashing down on those knees of El Generico.
09:29The halloula kick in the corner.
09:31Finds its mark.
09:32And now Generico sends Daneson to the corner.
09:35Follows up with another halloula kick.
09:37And now the half and half.
09:39Oh!
09:39Drops Daneson down on the back of his head.
09:42Hooks the leg.
09:43There he is.
09:44Oh!
09:45Daneson kicks out.
09:46How amazing would it be for El Generico to have a PWG win the world titles.
09:53Tacky titles.
09:54But also defend his world title.
09:56Amazing.
09:57No one's ever done that.
09:59Not in one night.
10:00And this would be a tremendous feather in the cap of El Generico.
10:05But think about his competition here.
10:07Arguably the best wrestler in the world taking on El Generico.
10:11Who is clearly the best wrestler in PWG.
10:14He's got the title to prove it.
10:15But Bryan Danielson fires in with the knee to the top of Generico's head.
10:19Goes for the halloula kick.
10:20Danielson dumps him back on his head.
10:22Now Danielson catches Generico around the waist.
10:25Reverses around.
10:26Brings him down into the walk of Kotami.
10:27Oh no.
10:28He's got him hooked in.
10:29The cattle mutilation.
10:30Generico hits it into a pinning predicament.
10:33Almost a three count.
10:34But Bryan Danielson had the wherewithal to kick out of that.
10:38Goes for the European up against Generico.
10:39Reverses into the backslide.
10:41Danielson rolls through.
10:42Catches him in.
10:42Goes for the prove.
10:43Oh.
10:44Lost tower.
10:46One.
10:46Two.
10:48Oh.
10:48Did not get him vertical like I think he wanted to.
10:51But you know he just had a match before this.
10:54But oh my god they're both collapsing out of pure exhaustion.
10:58The fans on their feet.
11:01Unbelievable.
11:02Well El Generico out of pure exhaustion.
11:04Bryan Danielson staying on the canvas because he just had his brains busted by El Generico.
11:10The fans are eating this up.
11:12But El Generico is in charge of this match right now.
11:16But for how long as Bryan Danielson such a crafty competitor can come back at any moment.
11:23And now the fans they seem to be behind El Generico at this point.
11:26But that could change on a moment's notice.
11:29And now Generico gesturing at the corner.
11:32Looks to be setting up Bryan Danielson for the brain buster on the top turnbuckle.
11:36And that would spell disaster for Bryan Danielson if that were to be the case.
11:41Oh.
11:41The big overhand shot.
11:43He's got Danielson up on the top turnbuckle.
11:46And now he's got him set up.
11:48Generico slowly getting up to the top.
11:50Top world brain buster.
11:51He's going for it.
11:53Bryan Danielson.
11:54Bryan Danielson he's got to know something's coming.
11:57He's trying.
11:58He's grabbing on to that top turnbuckle.
11:59And you see clenching his knees to that middle ring support.
12:03And the big headbutt levels El Generico.
12:05Joy will move a kick.
12:07Just rocks Bryan Danielson.
12:10Now Generico going up to the top rope.
12:13He's got him hooked in.
12:14No bro.
12:15Danielson floats over the top.
12:17Oh.
12:17Now Generico almost impaled him on the steel ring post.
12:21And now he's got the champion up.
12:23The atmosphere here in Burbank is electric.
12:26Oh.
12:27Down.
12:28He dropped him down hard.
12:30The back suplex.
12:31He covers him.
12:32Hooks the leg.
12:33One.
12:34Two.
12:35Oh.
12:35Oh my god.
12:36El Generico kicked out.
12:38But now Bryan Danielson.
12:38He's got him hooked in.
12:39They got a mutilation in the center of the ring.
12:42He is in no man's land.
12:44He's just wrenching back on El Generico.
12:47He is stretching him out.
12:49El Generico needs to make it to the ropes.
12:51He's not ready to give up.
12:52He's got fight lift in him yet.
12:55Half the fans chanting tap.
12:56Half the fans chanting please don't tap.
12:58It is up to El Generico.
13:00It is up to El Generico right now if he needs it.
13:02How badly he wants to hold on to the PWG World Championship.
13:07But I mean he has got to be facing exhaustion.
13:10How much further can his body go?
13:11His body may just give out on him disco machine.
13:15As he is inching his way.
13:16Gets his foot.
13:17His toes on the bottom rope.
13:19Bryan Danielson brings him into the center of the ring.
13:21The front chancery.
13:22He's coming back.
13:23Right back to it.
13:26He is stretching him out.
13:28You can see El Generico's arm just liftly hanging.
13:32Oh he is thinking about it.
13:33He is thinking about it right there.
13:34He is almost tapped out.
13:36He is not ready to give up.
13:37And Bryan Danielson though.
13:39He is looking at the dexterity on his toes.
13:42He is moving with El Generico to keep the catamulation locked in.
13:46El Generico reaching for the rope.
13:49Bryan Danielson though brings him out.
13:52Driving his knee into the top of Generico's head.
13:55He just repeatedly drove it.
13:57Oh now into the lane.
13:59Oh.
13:59Generico slaps him.
14:00With Bryan Danielson.
14:02Tiger Suplex.
14:04One.
14:04Two.
14:05Two.
14:06No.
14:06No.
14:07El Generico kicked out.
14:08But Danielson transitions.
14:10Oh.
14:10Into those elbow strikes.
14:12This is.
14:13This is.
14:13This is what.
14:14That's Fernando stopped the match before.
14:15And now.
14:16Right in the middle of the ring.
14:17Count of mutilation.
14:19El Generico not giving up his arms.
14:22Very nearly going lift.
14:24What punishment.
14:25He has the door.
14:26Yes.
14:26That is it.
