00:07Good evening, everyone. Hope you're well. We'll take a show of hands of questions, please.
00:10We'll take questions from English Media first, followed by any questions from Greek Media.
00:14We'll start with Mike. Thank you.
00:15Hi, Enzo. Do you think Phil Foden has got that red card?
00:22Do you think he's come back and he's maybe playing with a bit of anger, frustration,
00:26and taking it out and really wants to show what he can do?
00:31I was very happy with Phil, even before the red card, to be honest.
00:37I said since day one that I consider him one of the best English players for different reasons.
00:44In the last two years, three years, he was not good enough, but I know how good he is.
00:53So we are just trying to help him because we are sure that he's going to help us this season.
01:09Enzo, how pleased were you with some of the young players that got opportunities tonight?
01:14I'm sure, you know, with the challenges of the season, it's great to be able to offer them some minutes.
01:20Absolutely, yes. I think they were the three players from the academy.
01:23They were all good, especially Floyd, that he played from the start.
01:27The free kick from the first goal, he was good in that action.
01:31And overall, I think he had a good game.
01:33Ryan McAdo made an impact immediately.
01:36Also Caden. So, yeah, very happy.
01:38It's always a pleasure, you know, for me to give them some moments.
01:43It's also from the academy field, score a trick.
01:46So I think it was good.
01:48And then at the same time, you know, we had the chance to give rest to some of the players
01:53that they are playing every game since day one.
01:55I just wanted to ask you about that.
01:57Is Erling okay to start on Saturday?
01:59And how did he find setting out a game?
02:01He's not used to doing that too often, I think.
02:03Yeah, it's okay.
02:04It's okay to start on Saturday.
02:06Unfortunately, as I said, we had five, six players on the bench that they were ready
02:11to go inside.
02:12But at the same time, they had the rest.
02:13That is good.
02:15And, yeah, happy with that.
02:22Just that second goal from Phil.
02:24Do you show what he can do when he's happy in that instinctive show on the pitch
02:29with that finish, first-hand finish, into the top corner?
02:32Yeah, absolutely.
02:33But anyway, we know that Phil is a top player.
02:37Again, for different reasons.
02:39He had some problems in the last two years.
02:41But I know that he's going to help us.
02:47And how good he is, I know that.
02:50That's why I'm so keen with him, to have him in the best way.
02:54And also showed why you've considered him as a solution in the false nine role.
03:00Yeah, yeah.
03:01We started without Erling, without Antoine.
03:04We started with Floyd as a nine.
03:06Again, I think the performance was good.
03:09And then we also filled for the last part of the game.
03:12In a game where, for different reasons, was not easy after PSG defeat,
03:17we had two games at home against EPSWITCH.
03:19And tonight, there are two games that we need to win.
03:23And I think we did our job.
03:27Hi, Enzo.
03:28It was a brilliant performance tonight.
03:29I wonder, was it a bit disappointing that there weren't more fans to see it?
03:32And I wonder why you might think that was?
03:37No, I think the one that they were in the stadium, they were good.
03:40Now, the last game also against EPSWITCH, they were top.
03:43And now we have next week, two games at home against Brighton.
03:47And I have no doubt that the environment will be top again.
03:56It was a great performance from Cherki.
03:58I think it was one of those where you could tell within a couple of minutes
04:02that he was really in the game and he was going to affect it in a good way.
04:06What did you think about his performance?
04:09And do you have that feeling as well where you can tell quite quickly
04:12if he's going to have a good game or not?
04:14Yeah, I think Ryan, like the other one, he had a very good game.
04:19He made an impact in some moments, like the goal.
04:23But we know that from Ryan we can expect anything in terms of positive things
04:29at any moment.
04:31What do you think his ceiling might be?
04:34Because obviously Erling is like the superstar of the team,
04:37and we talk about him a lot.
04:39But Cherki has only just turned 23.
04:41And when he's good, he's so good,
04:44could he help you just win the Champions League?
04:49Win the Ballon d'Or?
04:50Is it that kind of level of talent?
04:52I don't know.
04:53The only thing I can say is that I said many times to you
04:56in terms of press conference, but also to the players,
04:58this is team sport.
04:59This is not a single sport.
05:01So, yes, Erling is a top player, Ryan is a top player,
05:04but Elliot is a top player, Anse is a top player, Ruben is a top player.
05:08So we need to think not just about one player,
05:10we need to think about the 25 players that they are in the squad.
05:16Alex?
05:21Hi, Anse.
05:22You've played three Champions League games now,
05:24obviously beaten by PSG,
05:25but could easily have come away with something from that game.
05:28How do you sort of assess your side's chances going into this competition?
05:31Have you seen enough to believe that you can go deep and win it?
05:34Yeah, no, I think, again, after PSG defeat,
05:37we had Ipswich at home and Ike attend tonight at home.
05:41And our two games that we need to win,
05:43I think it was not easy.
05:44It's always complete after defeat immediately to win again.
05:48And we did that.
05:50We are happy with that.
05:52But for sure, since we start,
05:55probably one of the games where I learn more has been PSG game.
06:00So sometimes defeat also is good,
06:01because you can learn,
06:03you can see things and you can learn many things.
06:06Take some questions from Greek media.
06:10No.
06:11No?
06:11Okay, leave it there.
06:12Thanks, everyone.
06:13Better.
