00:00Did you know that in 1920 a farmer in Australia used a flute to save his village from a mouse invasion?
00:06In the small town of Bundanun, millions of mice threatened to ruin all the crops.
00:11Tom Watson, known for his creativity, decided to use a flute instead of poisons or traps.
00:17The mice, sensitive to sound, began to follow Tom as if hypnotized.
00:21Tom led them to a water-filled well where they became trapped.
00:25A journalist asked him, "How did you come up with this idea?"
00:27Tom replied, if the mice want a party, I'll give them a party, only it ends in a pit.
00:33The community joined the effort, forming a procession behind Tom as he played his flute.
00:39Thanks to Tom, the town saved its crops and he became a local hero, known as the Pied Piper
00:45of Bundanun.
