Taylor Swift will skip the Kansas City Chiefs’ next home game against the Los Angeles Chargers, her first missed home game since December 2024. Instead, she is slated to perform her Toy Story 5 song “I Knew It, I Know You” at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on October 17.
The update follows attention on husband Travis Kelce liking an Instagram video of Shane Gillis’ controversial Saturday Night Live monologue. According to Page Six, Kelce has “always been a massive fan of the show,” and a source said “he was supporting a friend.” A source close to Swift told Hollywood Insider Rob Shuter that this weekend is about her career. Swift has not made a public statement.
