00:00Well hey there guys I'm back here again over at my vintage guy and this is actually the freaking
00:05room that got me into toy collecting. I used to come here for retro games and then one time he
00:13said I got some thrill stuff and this was the room that had the collection in it like right over
00:18there used to be like a glass case and it just had all these different you know 80s and 90s
00:25characters and you would look through this glass case and it'd just be like a pop culture you know
00:31avalanche of nostalgia hitting you and that's what I kind of like wanted to create myself so each year
00:38I kind of head over here and he always finds more stuff so there's boxes everywhere here
00:44and I get first pick on some of these things so it's pretty cool. I already have some stuff set
00:50aside over here which we'll get to you I'll show you later then we have all these boxes to check
00:56out and then there's one really crazy item here that we're gonna take a look at and perhaps negotiate
01:03so let's come on. So it's very cool to be back in this room which isn't a collection room anymore
01:09but yeah my vintage guy always brings over some stuff once a year for me to check out so I

02:31at I was like yeah I'm gonna take this along for like
02:3535 euros something like that and add it into the collection

03:28look for when when you're out there um but this is just box after box of just nostalgic treasures he's
03:35hunting for the same stuff I'm looking for so it's always cool and he knows it's just
03:40never fails to point out something I might have missed like this awesome robot
03:44this is pretty rad this is like a vintage robot but look at the cover art over here doesn't that
03:51look just a little bit suspicious a little bit familiar
03:55uh I don't know if Rebecca Taylor gave the okay for this one but I mean he's cute

04:11looking back I kind of wish I picked him up now but you know you can't buy everything
04:16but I did buy one uh MOTU piece which is actually this french battle cat
04:22uh I've been eyeing to get more stuff from the french variants as you can tell maybe over here
04:28he is a lot darker the weapons or the the armor he comes with is a lot darker and then
04:34his stripes are really really dark too
04:37you can look at his face he's got
04:40just the black over there
04:42and it's it's just really fun for someone like me
04:46it was already pretty far into the MOTU line to dig up variants like this
04:51so I wanted to pick this one up for sure
04:58as we're on the subject of MOTU stuff
05:02the guys from Toyplosion actually sent over a promotional copy
05:06of their orko the released over at Toyplosion so um this is a promotional copy I got sent in a
05:13little bit earlier for you guys to check out like this
05:15the first run is already sold out uh and will be shipping fairly soon I've been told
05:21but you can pre-order the second run of this orko plush and uh it will ship out in January
05:28now what they told me is you really need to pull up the the little scarf like that to make
05:33him exquisitely looking like this
05:36um but yeah the the fun thing about this orko is basically why it exists or what it is referencing
05:45basically this one is based off of a prize that you could win out of the masters of universe um
05:51magazine in germany
05:53and there's apparently only three of them uh in existence
05:58my buddy MOTU collector from holland he has one over here it's actually johnny from monkeys emporium that's holding his
06:05one
06:05so there is definitely um it's not the same plush it's not exactly the same plush but it comes really
06:12close to it and this thing is big this is huge this is fun to have around in a collection
06:17and it just
06:17screams like 80s like I would assume like if it would have gotten a release in the 80s it would
06:25probably look like this it's got nice texture on it um kind of feels like a really good um I
06:32want to say
06:32like a care bear plush but like like a good um quality one so it definitely has that 80s plush
06:40uh
06:41thing going on which I really like it's supposed to come in a red bag which was not yet done
06:47that will
06:48be uh sent away with the uh november release of the first uh series um so if you got that
06:55first one
06:56don't worry they will send you it with packaging um I just got this one because it's a promotional copy

07:03but yeah um in the original run for out of that magazine there was only three available so there's only
07:08three out there and this is just something cool for collectors to have um so yeah if you want to

07:45So as I'm digging out crazy stuff over here something that I have always loved is
07:52Mario merchandise so in the early 90s late 80s Mario was everywhere this came out around the
08:01Super Nintendo era and as you can see over here
08:04It's not a super Famicom
08:05It is just a Super Nintendo the way Europe got it and this is a McCain kids
08:10drink kind of
08:12Magnet thing you could win through that form right there. It's got the magnets and everything
08:17I love how he always keeps everything so clean and nicely together. This was like 15 years
08:22I was like I want that I need that. This is amazing. So had to grab this part

08:53He definitely always knows what I'm after so Ghostbusters stuff in the box
08:59I love the purple boxes on this. I love the role-playing stuff and this is actually first role-playing

09:05This is the ghost trap in in Dutch. It's spoke of all
09:09So that's why it's it's got that on there. This came from blocker, which is like a store
09:15I used to shop at for my toys and
09:18Yeah, this one not the best condition not the worst condition
09:22But checks all the boxes for me to be adding it into the collection
09:38And then obviously there is the dig boxes and I love digging around in boxes like this
09:44You never know when you're gonna pick up a freaking Neptune by black star that still has the cape
09:51So yeah, this is the black star Neptune version one not the laser light version from 1983 and he still
09:58has his
10:00Cape on the back. So it's very tough to find these
10:05looking the way this beautiful specimen does and
10:09Yeah, I was like this was just in a dig bin over there
10:13Very glad to have this one added to the collection. I love I just love the sculpts on these black

10:24Buying Dorme and Imperial Godzilla's I got our Imperial Godzilla right here. He might just have all of his like

10:40black colored one like that then over here we have one of the Dorme ones with the
10:48Mechanism that allows him for sights and sounds it is however not working unless I can maybe open this thing
10:53up and then just a regular one
10:55Which I don't think I already have the colors for so three more and got Jira's added to the collection
11:03and counting
11:05I picked up more stuff I picked out this knuckleheads bad bouncer mainly because it's a mellipel toy
11:12And I don't know anything about it. So you basically put your ball in sight
11:17This thing and it looks cool
11:20It's got nice artwork on there. Kind of reminded me of those
11:24Totems they have so the the creepy totems
11:28thing but yeah, it's cool little piece right there
11:33I picked up the michelangelo disc launcher thing and another goop. I love this one because it's just so

11:42And gross and then like this Nintendo
11:47With a ping pong palette thing
11:50Loved it because it just has that Mario thing. It's just the one but
11:55Honestly for display. I just need one
11:58Unless the ball had like like a flying tanooki suit Mario on it
12:03And then obviously the big piece that was over there was the following
12:08You know, so this is the big piece. Yeah, Zelda on the one side
12:14Mario on the other
12:22A little bit loved or played with
12:25But still
12:28That's right, this is the big item the seward luggage company trunk company

12:36This is a toy trunk and there's a couple toy trunks like this out there made in the early 90s

12:42For IPs like TMNT
12:44Nintendo over here and new kids on the block also had one
12:48but yeah a cool toy trunk thing and
12:51The price was hefty on this one and I did recognize that I could probably find it more easily in
12:59the US this one
13:00But if I do how am I ever gonna get that over in Europe again, so it was right here
13:08my buddy went down on the price and
13:11I got to take home this awesome this awesome toy trunk. So you got Zelda on here
13:18It's just freaking amazing got Super Mario 3 with that lovely artwork on there
13:27Just a red bottom and then on top more Mario
13:33insanely awesome artwork, so
13:36This thing is this is amazing. I am still on the lookout for the TMNT one as well
13:42But for now, this is just gonna be like the little coffee table right there
13:47It's gonna really tie the room together if you know what I mean
13:51Hopefully it's just not gonna get you know stuffed with

13:56Stuff I find and then I have to do a video on and then it stays there for two months.

14:24So this was a really prolific
14:26So this was a really prolific toy store back in the day had a huge
14:29Nintendo section had all the action figures you want it and
14:33Just you know get getting stuff like this that came from the store is always fun to kind of remember
14:39it by
14:39It's kind of like like parts partially our toys r us over here
14:44Um, so that was fun. He also had these patches
14:48from married with children
14:51Which I was like, okay, that's that's cool
14:54So added them into the pile. Um, and yeah lastly
15:02And another pre-made deal I had was over here this silver striker which is uh strikes
15:11Which strikes an odd resemblance to some of the motu stuff you have seen coming out
15:19But yeah, it basically worked with both your master of the universe toys and your star wars toys
15:27So that's what made it really cool this futuristic power looking thing
15:32Um remote controlled
15:34Maybe on this side we can see a little bit more over here
15:37You got a cockpit adapter to hold three and three quarter inch figures or you can just pop the four
15:44like the five inch
15:45Master genius figures in like that you got detachable cannons real working spot headlight and dashboard

15:54Just a really cool piece now

16:00Buying 14 different ones of these like I did from igajira's I might have to you know
16:06Make a stop here already, but it was just so cool seeing the clawful on the cover over here
16:12Uh, that was just the thing that made me want to buy it
16:17And yeah guys that was pretty much it from this little haul
16:20It's always fun getting to go there and see what he's willing to part with this year
